“I was incredibly nervous about having an MRI as I’m severely claustrophobic. Gavin McCauley, Deputy Radiology Manager and (Acting) MRI Lead at Kingsbridge Healthcare Group, first phoned me to arrange the scan. I explained how frightened I was and he took the time to calmly talk me through every step of the process. He then invited me into the Kingsbridge MRI department to show me the machine and explain exactly what would happen on the day. He even let me lie on the bed and experience going into the scanner so I knew what to expect. Gavin was unbelievably patient, kind, knowledgeable, and completely professional throughout. Thanks to his reassurance and care, I now feel ready and confident to have my MRI on the 16th of December. A truly amazing gentleman who made a huge difference to my experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I cannot praise or thank Cathy Basset enough for the high level of care she gave to my 15 year old daughter. Cathy was highly skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate yet realistic in her approach to helping my daughter to take her first steps towards recovery. Cathy managed to steer my daughter from a life threatening position into a more hopeful, safer place within a very short time. “It’s near the house and I can get my shopping after, as it is beside the shops. It can be difficult to get through on the phone, but what do you expect as everyone has a physical or mental issue (both) that needs a doctor’s attention. This means the GP has to see so many patients in one day and the phones ring off the hook.”
