“We did a mad dash to the vets to arrange an Irish passport for my English dog (rather than pay £250 each time we travel to Europe for an EHC). This meant disembarking the ferry at 09:45 in Belfast, travelling to Vets4Pets, then back to the ferry for 11:00 to check in. Arthur took a long phone call with me before hand to explain the process (at no cost) then saw me on the day I travelled. Arthur is obviously very knowledgeable on the paperwork process and completed this very quickly in person. Great service from start to finish and the ladies on reception are great craic. Thank you all very much, Ryan (and Magnus)”
“Fantastic shop. My dog drags me in every time we walk past! Very friendly, helpful staff and a massive selection of food, treats, toys and more - much better than the big chains.”
“Staff were very helpful in picking out items for our new rabbits”

“Had our staff Lola operated on 10 weeks ago where she had her TPLO surgery,I must say she is doing really well and I can't recommend Dan and his team enough, they were amazing ,and the aftercare via the pet smart app has been superb. Thank you everyone at Flynn Vets.”
“Great wee pet shop, it's got some really good dog food and the guy that works there is really knowledgeable about dog and cat stuff. Only bad thing is that a lot of the small animal supplies is actually unsuitable for most if not all small animals”
“Fabulous place, says Cricket, our dog, as we park the car & open the boot to let her out. Wagging her tail vigorously as she dashes towards the door, we do realise that whoever is behind the counter doesn’t stand a chance. Cricket knows where the treats are kept and goes straight there. Donna & Diane are both great with her as they are with all the dogs that visit. What a pet shop !!! You will find it has everything you could possibly need or want. Also the best place to go if you need any advice on your pet—very knowledgeable ladies ! We certainly would never go anywhere else except maybe the sister shops—Pets at the Port and Pets at the Causeway.”

“Really friendly staff (both in front and out back) who are always patient and helpful. This would be my first experience of a real 'community chemist' and it is genuinely a marvelous thing that should certainly never be taken for granted!”
“I took my 2 Chihuahuas to the Lisburn store to get them a harness which would fit as I have never been able to find the perfect harness for them. Toni was fantastic and she helped me find high quality harnesses which were the perfect size, whilst helping me fit them, she made my pups a puppychino, they also got a treat too, and of course lots of cuddles! The store offers lots of items, toys, treats, various accessories etc, and my pups loved the experience, they even came home with a new toy each and got to meet another wee dog too. Highly recommend them and we will definitely be back”

“Kiki has been with Flynn Vets since we got her at 8 weeks old. She is now almost 11 years old. Last Easter she became very ill and we thought we might lose her. Kirsten spent so much time trying to figure out what was going on and arranging visits and test with other vets in the area. The care Kiki received was second to none and she is back to her old self enjoying life. Would definitely recommend Flynn Vets.”
“Was seen on time. Very polite and professional staff. Had my bloods taken no issues. Recommend.”
“We found a large mass in our little Luna’s mouth on Friday evening (20th Dec) and were panicked and distraught. City Vets Shore Road fitted her in for a check up first thing the next morning, on the Saturday. They scheduled Luna for a biopsy first thing Monday morning (23rd Dec), which I’m told was their only emergency appointment over the Christmas period and I’m so grateful that was available for her. While Luna was in surgery, the head vet nurse rang me to say that the vet had got a proper look at the mass and gave me the option to go ahead with the biopsy, but they recommended palliative care instead of putting her through the surgery. I chose the palliative care on their recommendation and I’m so grateful that they were straight up and so compassionate about the situation, they certainly could have made a good £300 more if they went ahead with the biopsy as agreed without saying anything. When I couldn’t just let her go on the operating table, they then fitted her in for euthanasia the next day, on Xmas Eve so we could have one last night with her. We were well looked after and Luna was treated like the little old queen she was, even though she was dreadfully sick during the procedure. She was running around playing and eating like a champ on Friday, and she was gone by Tuesday. As you can imagine, it was an incredibly quick and painful few days and my partner and I were well supported by all of the staff, even the lovely girl on reception was incredible and comforting. All in all, while we would have paid anything to keep Luna from suffering, the cost of it all was extremely reasonable and we are now waiting on our baby’s ashes coming home. Thank you, City Vets, for helping us through the hardest time of our lives and for ensuring Luna got the best and most compassionate care we could have asked for, especially in the run up to Christmas when I’m sure you all would rather have been at home with your families. Thank you ♥️”
“Went today to purchase some food for a dog we have on respite. I asked a member of staff for help and that’s what she did to perfection. She was so knowledgable and by asking me questions about the dog, knew which brand we needed! You even ran and got me a poop bag holder and bags, when 2 other staff were at the cash point - 1 had just pointed and gave me directions to where they were whilst the other stood and watched our conversation. Customer service is so important to a successful company and staff retention! I’m glad I asked your name - thank you Connie for all your help today and making me feel happy as I left your store.”
“Lovely staff and very helpful. Large selection of animal care items not just cats and dogs.”
