“Beautiful little spot to have food. Lovely service from the bloke behind counter. Breakfast was beautiful and even with my awkward take offs and add ons it came nice and hot and delicious. Cuppa was spot on too! Will defo attend again!”

“I recently stayed in this beautifully converted stable in the countryside, and it was absolutely fantastic. The property itself was cozy, well-maintained, and offered great amenities, including a pool table, sauna, and hot tub, making it perfect for relaxation and entertainment. The surroundings were picturesque, with lovely views and plenty of opportunities for walks and exploring the area. Neil was incredibly responsive and welcoming, going out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. I also got to meet (and walk) his adorable dog, Roxy, who added an extra touch of charm and joy to my stay. This location is ideal, with some excellent local pubs and restaurants just a short drive away. The combination of comfort, fun amenities, and beautiful scenery made for a perfect getaway. I will return with the whole family next time!”

“Absolutely amazing and stunning property located roughly 30 minutes walk from Barnt Green station Both Amanda and John are amazing hosts. Very accommodating and loved seeing their 2 beautiful cats. The breakfast we had was delicious and filling. This is available from 07:15 - 09:00. My wife had a selection from the hot menu - bacon, scrambled eggs, John's famous hash browns and baked beans. I had bacon, mushrooms, 2 fried eggs and beans as well as the famous hash browns. We both also had some of the fresh bread which we had the delight of slicing ourselves along with fresh butter. We had an assortment of jams, preserves and spreads available. There was also a selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt. We asked for 2 lots of coffee and were surprised when John came out with a large cafetiere, the coffee hit the spot just nicely at that time of the morning. The room we had with the amazing views was located at the rear of the property on the first floor. You can see the 2 ponds and the acres of land they have from the windows. The first night we stayed I made use of the bath they have in the en suite. I have to say, that has been the best bath I have been able to have in years! (I am disabled and the bath we have at home is a water saving bath which is very shallow. I am also 6" tall!) So being able to fully submerge myself was an absolute God send, as I have health problems that effect most, if not all of my body. Both hosts have gone above and beyond what a "normal" Bed and Breakfast owner usually does, which in turn has made our stay here that much more enjoyable and special. This stay was because it was myself and my wife's 10th wedding anniversary. They're both extremely knowledgeable about the local area and are happy to answer any questions you may have. We look forward to coming again and wish all the best to both Amanda and John for such a brilliant weekend away.”

“Lovely unspoilt site in a stunning location. Just a field surrounded by trees, filled with wildlife. So lovely, that everyone who stays respects the site and leaves it as they found it (no mess, no litter, clean portaloos). So peaceful. The owner is so helpful. We will definitely be back again soon. “Malcom the host offers a warm welcome to this lovely guest house. The room was spotless and decorated in a lovely traditional style. The ensuit is compact and functional with a good shower. There is a guest TV room available. The breakfast features both a wide selection of cereals and a traditional full English with vegetarian options. Throughout our stay Malcolm was extremely helpful and helpful, even preparing an early breakfast for other guests. I can thoroughly recommend that you consider this place.”

“Absolutely gorgeous place, even better than I expected, we couldn't get out heads around the fact we were in a cave! We went for my partners birthday and she couldn't believe it when we arrived and she loved it so much. Thanks to their chillier nature we got to make lots of happy memories using the log burners (took us a few attemps but we managed). I never imagined being so excited to run outside to watch the smoke coming out the chimney! Amazing dinners over the fire pit, Marshmallows in the evenings etc, everything taste better when made on a fire! Greeting the cows in the morning, following squirrels with our torch at night, I even saw a deer on top of the cave whilst making dinner at the gas bbq! Whilst there is no wifi I had a solid 5G on EE outdoors, although there was minimal coverage on O2, but who cares WE WERE IN A CAVE, there was so much to do I didn't need my phone. We felt the shower is quite low pressure due to the shower head, feels absolute bliss but would take forever to wash your hair in so ladies being the dry shampoo. But again you're in a shower IN A CAVE. Lots of things to do just a short drive away. We spent the first night just taking in our surroundings and the next at Avoncroft Museum (highly recommended) with a stop at a farm shop on the way to get more bbq treats. The last day we took a trip up to Birmingham for the sealife centre on the way home. I strongly recommend not planning too many activities because there is so much to do at the cave you don't want to miss out! The track leading up to the retreat was both terrifying and so much fun, I can certainly see why certain cars aren't suitable but luckily ours managed no problem. It seems to be a theme to leave a personalised rock on the premise so we rushed to the supermarket for some pens to make sure ours was the best. We can't stop telling all our friends about this experience, it was truely worth every penny and more. You've set a new standard for our trips away now, cave holidays are the way forward! Truely magical, will be coming back in the future for sure. Thank you Angelo for an amazing time!”

“We stayed Monday to Friday in The Farm House and had a wonderful holiday. Amazing welcome and the cake was delicious. Was nice to arrive and although self catering all of the essentials were there such as milk, tea, coffee, toilet roll etc. My two daughters loved their rooms and the Farm House itself. They also really enjoyed playing Tennis (even though we are all rubbish). Great location for West Midlands Safari Park and also Cadbury World. We also got the train to Birmingham from Kidderminster which was very easy to get to and cheap parking. Overall a great stay and if we are in the area again we would definitely look to come back.”

“Had a really lovely stay. Clean, quiet cottage. Great to be on a working farm - I like the sound of pigs and cows, but it might not suit some people. Hosts were really helpful with everything but also left you to get on with it, which is perfect. WiFi, clear instructions on current covid regulations, etc. All in all, will definitely stay again.”

“This is a lovely campsite with very clean facilities, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. It was really nice to sit and watch the animals on site, and yes there are real reindeer! There are great walks and a good farm shop close by.”

“A different garage diagnosed a cracked inlet manifold on our Discovery 4 which had already been replaced 10k miles ago. Oval autos managed to fit us in the next day as we have a holiday pending and a caravan to tow which is not ideal with restricted performance. Turns out it was a small pipe required only. They were super honest which resulted in the bill being a lot lot lower than anticipated. Second time using and will definitely use again.”

“Great location and situated close to a main road, so easy to get to - no matter your form of transport. Has a small and convenient car park which holds three cars, which is plenty - if you're popping by for breakfast/lunch to go. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced, especially considering the great portion sizes. I had a bacon, egg and sausage sandwich with two hash browns. Absolutely lovely, it was freshly cooked/made to order in no time at all! My only constructive criticism is that it's cash only, which is a shame in this day and age with card/phone/NFC payments. However, there is a cashpoint just over the road at Tesco - so paying cash is not inconvenient in the slightest. Staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. Always make a bright start to the day. I go here once a week to support such a wonderful local business.”

“We stayed at the Appleby Inn for a night and really enjoyed it. Plenty of parking, lovely food with big portions and loads of choice. The room was clean, comfy, and had tea, coffee, and a nice shower. Breakfast was great too – cereals or a cooked breakfast, both generous and tasty. Staff were welcoming and made us feel at home. Great value for money, couldn’t fault it. Would happily stay again!”

“I had an incredible stay at The Belfry, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help, which made the whole experience feel special. The food was outstanding — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Whether it was breakfast, dinner, or snacks throughout the day, everything was consistently high quality. The gym was well-equipped, spotless, and perfect for keeping on top of my routine while away. The spa was another highlight: relaxing and the ideal place to unwind. The treatments were exceptional, and the atmosphere was calming from start to finish. A special mention has to go to Chloe and Sarah, who were absolutely fantastic. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made the experience even better. They truly went above and beyond and are a real credit to The Belfry. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough — a flawless stay from start to finish. I’ll definitely be returning!”

“I learnt to Windsurf here 32 years ago, and all these years on I'm still returning, nowadays with my family, it's got busier, but is still well run and maintained. I understand they've purchased the neighbouring lake, will be interesting to see how that develops.”

“Used this for an overnight stay and I was very happy for the price, room was clean and fresh with towels provided tea/coffee in the room and even some shampoo and bodywash which I was not expecting for the price. Rooms are accessed via a key coded door so you can gain access at any time of the night. Staff were polite and helpful. Had a pint in the pub which was also good and had a friendly atmosphere. Definitely look to stay again next time I'm in Birmingham.”

“Really nice campsite. Used it as a stopover for travelling up North. Only a short distance off the M42 junction 3. The campsite staff were absolutely brilliant, so friendly and helpful and the facilities were spotless. Only a five minute or so walk down to Becketts farm shop. Great produce there with a deli bar and also lovely restaurant onsite. One thing we missed out on unfortunately was the Transport museum which is next door to the campsite and looked really interesting. We'll have to do another trip there as soon as we can.”
