“This modern hotel was a perfect find for us as we needed to be on Birmingham University Campus for a couple of reasons. We were welcomed warmly and were very impressed by the hotel facilities and architecture. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and air conditioned too, so perfect! En-suite and whole hotel was spotlessly clean and clearly well maintained. Evening meals in the bar were excellent, as was the service. Breakfast in the main restaurant was a buffet style, again, with excellent food and service. Really recommend and rate this hotel, and the whole experience. “Really lovely lunch one day and brunch on another over the weekend. Food is well cooked, presented and tasty. Varied and interesting food and drinks menus. Average ‘gastropub’ prices. Staff really friendly. Great outdoor space and a large pergola with fire and ping pong table (noticed they also have tv presumably for sports and hire the pergola out for parties). Weird thing to say on a review but appreciated nice and clean toilets with free sanitary products in the ladies in case you’re caught short. Small thoughtful gestures like this are always a winner imo.”

“Amazing wedding at the ORH ❤️ We decided that we would like to have our wedding ceremony and meal outside. The stretch tent was the bra option for that and it did not disappoint at all. Fully covered and protected by the rain and wind. We were unlucky a little bit to have rain during our ceremony however due to the decoration and the setting of the stretch tent it actually made the whole experience super cosy and romantic. Thank you so much for the whole team for making our day truly unforgettable . The venue looks incredible, the staff are true hospitality professionals . Genuinely a true hidden gem tucked away and we are lucky to found it . Thank you very much ! ❤️”

“Such an incredible place, we arrived just as they were decorating for Christmas and it was beautiful! The setting is stunning, the rooms are lovely, the food was absolutely incredible and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. We also visited the spa and had a treatment which was fantastic. It's expensive but worth it.”

“Not long back for The Baiting House, and honestly… wow. We stayed in the lodge with the hot tub, and it was absolutely spotless and beautifully set up—such a relaxing spot to unwind. Dinner in the restaurant was next-level. The vibes, the atmosphere, everything just clicked. The service? Supreme. The maitre d’ running the floor was incredible—we’d happily come back just to be looked after by him again. Now, the food. The mains? Absolutely sensational. Every bite was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. I do have to say, the desserts didn’t quite match up to the brilliance of the mains—they were a little underwhelming in comparison—but that’s a tiny blip in an otherwise flawless experience. Honestly, I can’t fault a thing. From accommodation to dining to service, it’s all top-tier. Definitely a 10/10 from me, and I’d recommend it to anyone without hesitation. Already planning our next visit!”

“We stayed at 'The Bell inn' overnight as we were visiting Worcester races for the afternoon and didn't want to take the long journey home after the event. The Bell didn't disappoint, rooms were very spacious, the decor was tasteful, our room had a lovely en-suite, there was Tea making facilities, with well stocked Tea tray. A nice touch was a little fridge with bottles of water, and fresh milk! We also dined at the Inn, the menu was comprehensive, and would suit all tastes. The food when it arrived was 'Superb' , well cooked and well presented! The staff worked very hard, and were very efficient and polite... couldn't do enough for us! The Inn is a typical country inn, its situated on a road junction so there is some road noise through the night, but for us this didn't cause any undue distress!!”

“Held a corporate away day here and the team could not have been more supportive during the set up phase, very detailed and when I arrived all my requests had been executed as I wished. The overall stay, including the conference room, the bedrooms, all the refreshments and the evenings dinner were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and the team loved the venue. Definitely would book again for such an event, and equally, happy to recommend to those staying for leisure too.”

“We enjoyed two nights at Grafton Manor and would have loved to stay longer. The peaceful setting of the hotel was just what we needed as we had travelled from Scotland for the burial of a dear friend. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Alison’s service at breakfast was very much appreciated- nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast choices were excellent and everything was cooked to perfection. We would recommend to anyone.”

“I played a round of golf here, was met at shop by a very pleasant man, he ran through everything I needed to know, and checked I was OK with everything. Had an enjoyable round on a lovely course, my only quibble is the price of buggies, I find £31 slightly expensive when compared to other clubs, but aside from that a very enjoyable day was had.”

“Portions were extremely generous, the chips were the best fish and chips chips I’ve ever eaten, and the fish was massive. Friendly staff too. We went here for a wedding with loads of people and the service was still amazing despite how many of us there were.”

“We just stayed in tents with a family of six adults and four dogs. Staff were both helpful and friendly, facilities are excellent and undoubtedly the cleanest I have ever experienced. The location is right in the forest and after discovering this site I can safely say we’ll be back again next year.”

“Had a 2 day break here, staff are lovely and the food was some of the best I've tasted. Breakfast was as tasty and portions good. Could not of asked for a nicer 2 days away, with all attractions a short walk away.”

“We booked Sunday afternoon tea at The Old Farm Hotel to celebrate my parent's Diamond Wedding Anniversary. There were around 30 guests and everyone was looked after extremely well by very attentive staff. The homemade cakes and scones were delicious! The venue was perfect for a gathering of this size and offered excellent value for money. A special mention to Sharon and the team who ensured everything ran smoothly on the day. Excellent customer service, we would highly recommend!”

“This is the first time we’ve been for Christmas dinner at the old Rose and Crown. The location is lovely. There were 15 in our party. The table was beautifully decorated as were all the other dining tables etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was piping hot, delicious and you weren’t rushed between courses. We would definitely book again. It was a lovely treat.”

“Book directly and have breakfast included at a lower overall price. Free secure car parking right in the centre of town and you cannot go wrong. The people are lovely and the whole establishment is sparkling clean. Sometimes the reward of taking a risk and supporting the local independent pays off high dividends. I will stay here again for certain.”

“Room was pristine, bumped into the housekeeper as I was checking in and she made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel is attached to a charming country style pub with amazing food and fantastic staff. The location is on a busy road but also a 5 minute bus from the town centre which was a beautiful place to spend the day and has lots of local amenities. I would recommend this hotel to a person travelling alone or as a couple for a peaceful retreat as the location has fantastic transport links all over the country.”

“Had Christmas Dinner here with my little girl it was absolutly perfect. Food was great, Service fantastic. Was a lovely christmas day for us. The only slight downfall was we were sat outside of the main restaurant (still inside) in the foyer and the sun was out in full force which gave my 5 year old a headache. Would recommend something to Try and provide a shade from the sun maybe? Still we loved it. See you soon.”

“The inn was full so we were invited to stay in a cottage. It was excellent. Three bedrooms one of them a king size bed with large room. Very comfortable lounge area, good wifi, lovely breakfast. Recommend this Inn or cottage.”
