“Travelled here for a conference and it is a fantastic site and venue. The rooms are spacious, clean and have great facilities. There was an issue with the booking, not the hotel's fault, but Adriana Travnic on tbe front desk was nothing less than exceptional when helping me rectify the situation, would definitely stay again”

“Very clean and well maintained. No frills, comfy beds. Good parking. Breakfast is up there with the best of them. Evening menu is lacking in choice if staying for more than a couple of nights. Definitely will return when working in the area. Great value.”

“Had a fantastic experience here. Excellent customer service and after staying in a few hotels it's the only place i would stay in Solihull going forward. The rooms were well insulated and very quiet. All the staff very friendly and genuinely went out their way to help. Breakfast was again nice and fresh and the staff were on hand to help or you ask for a hot drink or clear your table. I've stayed in a few hotels and this has been one of my favourites. Well done the team at Crowne Plaza.”

“A wonderful experience staying here over the weekend, amazing and attentive staff, always had a smile on their faces from greeting to us leaving. Breakfast was amazing and very well cooked. Rooms clean and tidy with plenty of pillows, towels and tea/coffee. Great location and parking onsite.”

“Well.stopped here 4 years ago during covid and had a pizza outside under the tent tonight on way to the caravan thought we would try this place again and can not fault the place wife had Chicken chips and salad i ordered fish b chips what a surprise portions were well sized and delicious...... will definitely pop in again well worth the visit”

“Great room, lovely food, friendly staff. Lovely old pub with lots of character. Had our evening meal in front of the real log fire. So cosy. “Perfect place for a short stop over in the lovely little village of Atherstone. Very friendly owners/staff and the room was excellent. Possibly the best value for money for any place I've stayed before...would definitely go back.”

“The staff were very friendly and the accommodation was clean and very well decorated. Parking on the street is limited to 2 hours but free from 6pm. We arrive at 4pm so we parked up and then had to move the car in the morning at 8am and pay for an additional 2 hours. There is a multi storey up the road but it closes at 8.30pm and I don't think you can stay overnight. The hotel is very well located near some lovely bars and restaurants and if you want to go into the centre the train is a 6 minute walk away. My only recommendation if you're staying on a Friday or Saturday night, bring ear plugs. The bar downstairs plays loud music until around 1am so if like us you want an early night it's not easy to get off to sleep without ear plugs. I always keep some when we travel so my night was undisputed. The rooms are not air conditioned. But don't have fans for cooling the room but obviously you will need to open the window which will increase the noise. In the room we had the usual tea and coffee facilities and I was very happy to see a Taylors coffee bag. The hotel gets high praise from me for the coffee bags. Hotel coffee is usually so rubbish. There were lots of sockets in the room, a huge mirror (again not always the case so I loved that too). The bathroom was spacious and the shower was lovely and powerful. Overall I'd highly recommend (with earplugs) and definitely stay here again. Hotel - maybe think about getting some earplugs to offer to your guests...”

“My stay was amazing! The apartment was immaculate everything was soo clean! The interior is really pretty. The bed and sofa was super comfortable. The host was amazing and responded very quick. Apartment had Netflix, Play Station and Games, Cards and board games. Was 10/10 and can’t wait to book again!”

“Professional and friendly greeting on arrival with the host taking you to your room and offering to carry bags. The whole apartment block was clean and very tastefully decorated. Apartment itself was also clean and well equipped and with the sound deadening windows, you wouldn't even know there was a bustling street right outside the door! If I'm being super critical, the heating system was a little tricky to use and somehow the heating was always on (but we like it warm anyway!). Overall a great place to stay within easy walk of the city centre. Will definitely stay again”

“My husband of many years took me for this experience for the very first time. I was as nervous as hell and really didn't know what to expect or what to do. The staff were really amazing and tried put me at ease. The other clients were so friendly and understanding that this was my first time in a club of this kind. I don't want to go into too much detail expect to say that everything that happened to me was incredible and I loved the attention of the other people there and also seeing my husband enjoying himself. It has changed my life in so many ways for the better!!!”

“Outstanding. We stayed for a weekend with our family of 19. The house is spacious, very clean on arrival, and with extensive gardens. Negotiations before we went ware easy, the induction on arrival was excellent, and at the end any comments we made about problems, which were minor, were taken on board to be addressed. We hope to go for a longer stay next year.”

“I stayed at this hotel in a recently renovated standard room. It was a lovely room, very comfortable and spacious with all the amenities you could need. I attended the Christmas Vegas event which was well organised and managed. The staff were incredibly attentive given the volume of guests and I was impressed by the manner of the waiting staff as this can be a demanding style of event. Breakfast this morning was delicious. Would definitely recommend.”

“Personally I’d believe this is the best pub in town as staff are very considerate and down to earth people that you can get on with no matter what your interests or where your from, I come up numerous times a week for arguably my own happiness and best pints equally don’t get me started on the drafts on bar, the food what can I say… exquisite, the Wednesday winners makes me feel like a winner when I check my bank account afterwords, the steak Monday is extremely good value for money and I will continue to come here on days that end in Y”

“Very impressed with this hotel. Easy to find and great location for our trip. Car park free although a little tight for space initially as it is shared with other businesses including a McDonald's. Room was clean, tidy and adequate. The stand out element for our trip were the staff. We sometimes encounter problems with hotels because my wife is coeliac and eating can be a major issue so a special mention to Amy who checked us in. She was knowledgeable of our circumstances and empathetic of our needs. She ensured our breakfast the following day went without incident and that the team on duty were aware of our requirements. It was very reassuring as an error can have a significant impact on my wife. It really makes a massive difference to any stay we have anywhere to be understood in this way and our overnight hotel stays would be much less stressful if there were more Amy's ! Thank you”

“Went for lunch on Sunday 21st Dec, we went as a walk-in, after a morning of Xmas shopping. The staff were really friendly and welcoming; and even more welcome was the superb roast beef dinner; my wife had Cod-that was equally delicious. My lunch was washed down with a cracking Bordeaux Premiere. The Hotel du Vin is a really great building (former red brick Victorian Eye hospital) so is really characterful; and located in the Colmore Business district of the city centre; so architecturally and aesthetically, one of nicer parts of ‘town’. The bistro is beautifully decorated without being overly grand and pretentious, so a really nice relaxed atmosphere. Thank you to the waitress who allowed us to take extra Xmas crackers for our kids! Merry Xmas!”

“Tushar provided us with really great service. We came for bottomless brunch on a saturday, whilst it was quite busy, but he was very proactive in ensuring we had drinks at all times. There was a minor issue with one meal, but all staff were very apologetic and quick to change the food, without argument. Food was quickly replaced and multiple staff apologised and checked if anything else could be done to accommodate us. Drinks were provided quickly and efficiently when ordered and Tushar ensured that we could make the most of our time at bottomless brunch. I could not fault him.”

“So I’d like to thank you for your amazing customer service, your staff and wonderful food. Not to forgot we were able to pray after breaking our Ramadan Fast. The Iftaar/Fast breaking food then the mixed grill starters were tops. Lovely curries and those Afghan Nans are the best. Nice desserts and teas too. Definitely will be returning. “Superb place for a celebration, ours was a birthday celebration. Views are amazing but a wee bit misty when we visited. Food is fantastic from the scallops and brie starters though the two brilliant steaks to a cheese cake sweet. A superb night. Highly recommended.”
