“We stayed here for one night as we were visiting the West Midlands Safari Park, which was only about a 25-minute drive away. The lady at reception, who was also helping out at the restaurant bar, was so sweet, approachable, and looked after us really well. She was very informative and welcoming. They had a great deal for £26.99 which included a two-course meal, a drink, and breakfast – perfect for us. The place was clean and tidy, and the room was good too. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would definitely recommend it.”

“I ordered a great mixed grill but must admit I was a little disappointed with no lamb chop or black pudding. It was still a great meal and value for money with the email voucher. The evening front of house staff was very helpful and not overpowering. Decor was a little to shabby chic and could do with abit of tlc.”

“Unique and surprisingly affordable. spent a very peasant 5 days pretending to be lord and lady of the manor. Fully equipped country kitchen, comfortable rooms and beautiful country side views. Very self-service and be prepared to put up with old electrical outlets and plumbing and to share with visiting tradies and other fellow travellers.”
