“I can't believe I've never been here before and it's only a few miles from home. There are some lovely walks, lakes with swans and ducks on and the motorway! The further you get into the woods the less you hear the motorway noise. Well worth a visit to enjoy nature and recharge your batteries. There are toilets in the courtyard by the tearoom and others near the cycle hire place. The tearoom is lovely and the staff are too. They're very friendly and accommodating.”

“Lovely place, this park is massive and really well maintained. I personally love the lake side with swans… there is a children play area and great summer splash area.. outdoor gym equipments also available… There is a massive car park available, on payment and also toilets available too!! There are benches everywhere and really nice picnic areas too!!!”

“I took our 12 year old Westie Bolly for a complete groom last week and was very impressed by the groomers and how great Bolly looks. She had a bad experience at her first ever groomers when they cut her hair very short and I suspect were not very good with her, since then I have groomed and cut her hair myself, but she had got very tangled and I just couldn't do it anymore. I emailed with my request expecting a couple of weeks wait and was amazed when offered an appointment the following day. I took the appointment and explained that Bolly was nervous and they were great. On the morning of the appointment I couldn't find the unit they work from and they came and found me. I was told she'd be a couple of hours so I settled in Costa at the Asda and waited. When I collected her, I couldn't believe how good she looked! It was worth every penny of the £40.00 I paid. She will be returning there in about 3 months for another haircut. Also they only accept cash payments as they have no card machine, but they tell you that in the text they send to collect your dog. Really, really impressed by their work and Bolly looks so much younger without her shaggy coat. Parking is great, they have a small car park directly outside the unit.”

“Had a fantastic visit to RSPB Sandwell Valley recently! It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot that’s perfect for birdwatching and relaxing in nature. The staff and volunteers were really welcoming and helpful. During my visit, I spotted some amazing birds, including oystercatcher, lots of geese, and many other species. The hide is brilliant — well maintained and perfectly placed to give you a great view without disturbing the wildlife. It’s such a calm and relaxing place to sit quietly and enjoy nature. The only downside was a few bike riders passing nearby with very loud engine sounds, which disturbed the peace a little and seemed to unsettle some of the birds. It didn’t ruin the visit, but it would be even better if the area could be kept quieter for both visitors and wildlife. Overall, it’s a wonderful place and I highly recommend a visit if you love nature, birds, and some quiet time outdoors!”

“Was recommended here, bought in my Mini cooper with extent front end and wheel damage. For me it was a gamble as i have never used this garage. Lucas assured me the repair would be to a high standard, as if it was never damaged. Honestly, Lucas and the lads were true to their words and worked along side with me for parts etc. On collection, the repair, the paint, a few upgrades, the alignment, the price and the level of customer satisfaction 10/10. Truly hats off to the team of Auto Body Technic.”

“Literally just finished eating and I had to share! This morning my son fancied pancakes so I searched Uber eats for whoever does pancakes and something savoury for me that didn’t include bacon and sausages or too sweet. So I ordered him the Biscoff stack and was delighted by eggs Benedict on their menu and had to give it a try. Both were beautifuly presented but I only have empty containers now so no photographs sadly. The quality is really excellent though, my son loved his pancakes and said they are the best pancakes he’s ever had. My eggs were cooked to perfection and the smoked salmon was good quality and delicate to eat, salad was fresh too. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit or ordering from.”

“We popped in of an afternoon on a sunday for a cob and a pint! Atmosphere great and lovely people! Just to note cobs are cash only so we had to rummage around the car for change! Great local! Also great with kids i have a 4 year old and a 4 month old and couple of the locals ended up giving my eldest a £1 for the sweet machine as we had used all our change for cobs!! Very sweet and lovely people! 1000% recommended!”

“Firstly the building is beautiful and the layout is so nice with big, spaced out tables, the bar on one end, and cosy corners which provides privacy. We were greeted very politely at the door and shown to our table. Food was amazing, so many veggie options! I had the Methi Matar Malai and the Samosas, best ones I've ever had. Cocktails were great too and 2 for £12 is decent so I had quite a few, and still felt very comfortable in the establishment (many people were drinking but no one was being too loud or creepy). Ordering with the QR code was chill and straightforward and staff were still very attentive but also didn't meddle in anyone's business unless we asked for something, they just left us to eat in peace and only came back to collect dishes at the end. Just all round perfect experience. One thing I will say, the car park is tiny for the size of the restaurant so need to get there early and also book a table in advance/ maybe go during the day rather than evening. We will be back!”

“Lots of comfy well made shoes for all ages. Pleasant helpful staff. They do Blue light discount on full price items, but when I got to the till the shoes were already reduced by £10, so no complaints there as it was a bigger saving than with my card. There is a charge for parking on the complex. Helpful tip.. If visiting on a Sunday the tesco carpark opposite is free. Or free with a voucher on other days if you shop in the store.”
