“Loved this place. Amazing fish & super crispy chips! Two pints of Butty Bach were also spot on. We waited very little time for ours, but the people at the next table seemed to have a long wait for their sandwiches. Will definitely go again. Thank you Vine Inn.”

“I adore this pub! The owner and staff are so welcoming and chat to you as well as recommending amazing beers. The owner insists on insuring there is always a great selection and regularly changes what’s on offer. The pub is part of craddocks brewery so always had there ales on tap and offers a reward sticker for every craddocks beer purchased, making your 9th one free. The pub itself is welcoming and cosy, with two downstairs rooms, an outdoor area and lovely function room upstairs. Fantastic little gem of a pub just off Stourbridge high street. Well worth a visit!”

“Not the usual Bathams establishment. Quite popular with all ages even on a Wednesday and Thursday night. Very pleasant to sit inside or out. Staff have always been chatty and friendly. Beer is always served well.”

“A basic Marstons Pub, so generaly competent, but no Michelin stars. What sets it apart from the rest are the staff, who just do their job properly, which is more than you can say for a lot of places nowadays. Everything just seems effortless. Recommended.”

“I would just like to say that Meghan is a credit to the pub. Polite hardworking and always chatty. I would also like to mention that Neil who has gave negative feedback is banned from other pubs in the area due to his bad nature, i would suggest you follow suit of the rest of the pubs and ban him.”

“Excellent place for ale drinkers with a great selection of ales available to members. In total there are 18 ales available over a weekend period. There is the restaurant who serves food five days a week. Great selection available at a reasonable price. A large outdoor seating area with plenty of seating available. Upstairs function room with its own bar ideal for parties. There is also four full size snooker tables for members to use. Large car park available for members. Non members are welcomed to try these delights.”

“We popped in on Sunday for a cheeky drink before lunch and ended up staying for a Sunday lunch in a box. Great pub no selection of real ales, good food, nothing too much trouble for the staff. £7.50 wow”

“Popped in for a pint and a cob today with the hubby. We were offered the special a hot pork cob with all the trimmings which we had along with a portion of chips it was all delicious and good value too. The new manager is very welcoming and friendly we will definitely be returning there.”

“Had a great roast beef dinner here today. My husband had the trio! It was absolutely delicious. There were so many different vegetables on the plate, but also served beautifully. The service was excellent. I will definitely be back as it was well worth the money. Must point out that my beef was absolutely superb! Next time going to make sure I have room for a desert!! Staff great too! Definitely worth a visit!”

“Great little pub. Staff happy to wait at table, at least during pandemic. Be nice if that continues! Was served a cloudy pint, which obviously happens from time to time, but it was replaced without quibble. Some nice comfy chairs at one end of the pub.”

“The xmas day lunch was excellent. Better than last year in fact. This year the soup came with amazing bread and just enough. Last year the bread was ciabbatta type and really filling and stodgy. Criticism- more gravy and brandy sauce needed on dishes. I would like to thank staff, chef and everyone involved for making xmas excellent. We will definitely be back next xmas.”

“A very warm welcome from staff. Very busy but great atmosphere. Served by Lauren, who was courteous, friendly and efficient, with great customer skills. Nothing was too much trouble. She's a credit to the establishment. Food was served timely, presented well and was delicious, with attention to detail. It was a family birthday celebration, enhanced by a candle on the birthday girl's dessert. All in all, a great experience.”

“Love Barbridge, hidden out of the way, quirky and different decor with old cinema style seating in parts, sofas and barrel style tables. The drinks selection is exceptional for such a small bar with a large variety of ciders and ales of varying strength on offer. The service and atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, have never waited for long at the bar. Drinks are very reasonably priced also.”

Food takes a little while but that’s because you can tell it’s cooked fresh so absolutely no issue there! Great place, lovely fresh food and huge portions … what’s not to like?”
