Pub in Brierley Hill

“Went to an 80's night recently , first time we've been to Brierley Hill civic hall. It was absolutely brilliant. Big dancefloor, great crowd of people, staff all friendly and helpful, and toilets absolutely spotless - unlike some other places we've visited that made you want to wipe your feet on the way out. They had an really good live band and a disco afterwards, we we're dancing all night. Looking forward to going again!”

“We had Sunday lunch here for the first time in April 2024 and since then another 5 or 6 times. It has always been excellent, £11 or £12 for 2 different meats, roasts and mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, broccoli, cauliflower cheese, yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy. Served piping hot and cooked perfectly. The staff are very friendly and the tables in the conservatory are spotlessly clean. Normally have a couple of golden glow too. Cannot fault it at all. Thank you and we will be back.”

“Came here yesterday after a lovely day walking our dogs. We only popped in for 1 drink but it was such a lovely atmosphere that we stayed for a couple more and ordered food too! Staff and customers really friendly and chatty. My daughters were especially fans of the pub dog who came out to the beer garden to meet my 2 dogs! Food was great. We had a veggie pizza and chips and a kids burger and chips. Good value and quick service. This pub is in a great spot on the canal and especially nice to be able to sit outside in the sunshine. Thank you for a lovely afternoon and we will definitely be returning!”

“Staff and owners very welcoming, atmosphere great, Christmas Decs are the prettiest IV seen yet but above all the food is hot, fresh, affordable and truly delicious!!! I had the mixed grill , not usually a big fan of the fish however every single part of the grill here was very tasty. Highly recommended and I even encouraged the owner to expand his brand and bring this gem of a concept to more communities.... Keep up the great work”

“Super service from emily and key we usually come in on a Sunday but came in for the £6 offer. Key greeted me us the door and was super helpful and friendly getting us a table as we hadn’t booked and it was rather busy. Emily served us on the bar and was super friendly and efficient. The chefs were bringing out food super fast as it was so busy. Overall would definitely recommend to anyone❤️”

“Went here for my daughters birthday had a great time was impressed with service, quality, choice and value. Loved garden with all the plants and stencilling especially the flower wall. DJ played good music. Loved all the little extra touches like cut glass glasses for some of the cocktails and used the correct glasses for the cocktails. Will definitely go again. sticker.”

“An absolutely fantastic experience- the DJ set during the day was fab and they have a variety of different events going on all through the summer that have caught our interest, but more importantly I am beyond grateful for how inclusive and safe the staff make the place - I took my brother who has learning difficulties and autism out yesterday for a drink in a pub garden by the waterfront and stumbled upon red by night in the process- we were only intending to stay out till 6:30 but everyone was chatting away with him and he was so energised and excited when given the chance to stick around, it was so nice seeing him chattering away with the security and the bartenders and the owner spent so much time chatting with him and checking in on him and was so encouraging to him, we ended up staying until 10:30 for the live tribute band and I finally got my brother his first nightlife experience I'd been promising him for months!! Thank you so much to James, to Dan, Jazz and all the rest of the bartenders who were answering all his questions and recommending drinks to him and also thankyou to Ali on the door for chatting away to him we will definitely be returning here as soon as possible :) the place to go if you want a friendly, welcoming, inclusive safe space”
