“We had the set meal for two midweek and the meal and service was excellent. The hot and sour soup was a delicious fresh tasting beginning to the feast. The selection of other dishes was very pleasant and good contrasting flavours. I'd certainly recommend Maekong Thai for a relaxed meal. The meal with drinks was £40 each in July 2025 and was excellent value.”

“I visited this restaurant last night for the first time. Wow it was better then anticipated. The restaurant interior is stunning very modern yet traditional touches. The food was something else, presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Lastly, the service was first class. Both waiters were so courteous, friendly and welcoming. I find it difficult to receive good food, service and atmosphere nowadays but this restaurant has it all! Will defiantly be returning and would highly recommend.”

“Such an incredible place, we arrived just as they were decorating for Christmas and it was beautiful! The setting is stunning, the rooms are lovely, the food was absolutely incredible and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. We also visited the spa and had a treatment which was fantastic. It's expensive but worth it.”

“A lovely summer evening overlooking the river! The menu is great with lots of options. I had the hanging chicken kebab which was gorgeous. I really enjoyed it and the portion sizes were very generous. Staff were all really friendly and attentive. Our fur baby Teddy even had his own menu, he had his own doggy friendly beer and pork scratchings, it’s such a fun idea. We can also recommend the cheesecake, delicious! Thank you to the Holt Fleet team, we will be returning soon. I cannot recommend enough!”

“Not long back for The Baiting House, and honestly… wow. We stayed in the lodge with the hot tub, and it was absolutely spotless and beautifully set up—such a relaxing spot to unwind. Dinner in the restaurant was next-level. The vibes, the atmosphere, everything just clicked. The service? Supreme. The maitre d’ running the floor was incredible—we’d happily come back just to be looked after by him again. Now, the food. The mains? Absolutely sensational. Every bite was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. I do have to say, the desserts didn’t quite match up to the brilliance of the mains—they were a little underwhelming in comparison—but that’s a tiny blip in an otherwise flawless experience. Honestly, I can’t fault a thing. From accommodation to dining to service, it’s all top-tier. Definitely a 10/10 from me, and I’d recommend it to anyone without hesitation. Already planning our next visit!”

“We stayed at 'The Bell inn' overnight as we were visiting Worcester races for the afternoon and didn't want to take the long journey home after the event. The Bell didn't disappoint, rooms were very spacious, the decor was tasteful, our room had a lovely en-suite, there was Tea making facilities, with well stocked Tea tray. A nice touch was a little fridge with bottles of water, and fresh milk! We also dined at the Inn, the menu was comprehensive, and would suit all tastes. The food when it arrived was 'Superb' , well cooked and well presented! The staff worked very hard, and were very efficient and polite... couldn't do enough for us! The Inn is a typical country inn, its situated on a road junction so there is some road noise through the night, but for us this didn't cause any undue distress!!”

“4 of us for a catch up meal last night. From the second we walked in the staff were brilliant.. really friendly and helpful. We had a table upstairs in a room really tastefully decorated, although a little cold initially. The food was wonderful. We had salmon terrine and a mushroom starter, sirloin and ribeye steaks.. absolutely lovely.. perfectly cooked and tasty... And all served by a really lovely waitress. Thanks for a lovely evening”

“Not the usual Bathams establishment. Quite popular with all ages even on a Wednesday and Thursday night. Very pleasant to sit inside or out. Staff have always been chatty and friendly. Beer is always served well.”

“They serve the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had — honestly, it’s right up there with what you’d find in Thailand. Every bite is packed with flavour, perfectly balanced, and cooked to perfection. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. The decor is beautiful too — lots of natural wood, with a cosy yet stylish feel that makes you want to linger. “The food here is excellent & in my opinion very good value. Service is also brilliant. If you find you have eyes bigger than your stomach ask for the remainder to be boxed up & take it with you. All meals are ordered from menus with a varied choice. The room we gad was spacious; luxurious & comfortable. Tea & coffee in the room. Very large bathroom. View over the river was stunning. Thank you our stay was very pleasant & would return here again.”

(I’m a bit rubbish with redirecting my parcels and Janis has again stepped in to help me with this). “This used to be Spice Valley, and I avoided Spice Valley unless friends insisted I went for a birthday celebration. It has been taken over and is totally different and has a name change to reflect this. The food is regional Indian food, cooked to a very high standard and tasty with layers of flavour. I had soft shell crabs for the first time in my 65+yrs' life. They were awesome. If you are a bit adventurous with your food, then I suggest you try them. I then had lamb with Okra (ladies' fingers) and spicy rice. The lamb was lovely and tender, and not tough like it is in some curry houses where they rush the cooking and you get tough chewy lamb. The spicy rice had a touch of heat but was flavoursome and well worth eating. At a lot of Inian/Asian restaurants. I can't be bothered to eat all the meal and take some home in a doggy bag. No chance of that in this restaurant. I polished off the lot. This new venture is well worth supporting, unlike its predecessor. I will be returning.”

“Eat Greek provided evening catering for our wedding, and they really couldn't have provided better service. They were attentive and proactive during the run-up to the day, and on the day they were extremely communicative and friendly. It would be unfair to describe the food as outstanding, but tbh I don't think I know of a better word for it - everyone was extremely satisfied with the service, the flavours were out of this world, and the staff were all happy, helpful, and friendly. “Just moved to Worcester and found this little shop. My partner and I had some beef noodle soup and bubble tea. The broth was very tasty, fatty and rich, the portion was also generous, we shared one pot and we were both full! Bubble tea was simple and tasty, I'm very pleased that there is soy milk option available. We've been served by a very kind gentleman. Will be back :)”
