“What a gem! Went in here last Friday with my family and we had the best time, top quality service, exceptional food paired with lovely Turkish wine. I’ll deffo be back, and would recommend anyone reading this gives it a go to!”
“A True Village Gem: Exceptional Food, Family Focus, and Unrushed Atmosphere! We are so incredibly lucky to have this restaurant in our village. It is consistently our favourite place to visit as a family, and we genuinely couldn’t recommend it more highly. The commitment to quality is evident across the board; the food is always wonderfully fresh and clean. The portions are also incredibly generous—my husband and I always go for the delicious Mixed Grill Platter for Two and the Mixed Meze, which never disappoint! They have recently added a fantastic new option to the kids' menu: a light, fresh, and truly flavourful Pizza. Our children absolutely love it, which makes dining out a breeze. The entire atmosphere is nice and chilled, and we particularly appreciate that they stick to one setting, meaning we never feel rushed out. This is a restaurant that truly understands hospitality and great food. Five stars, every time!”
“What a lovely place. It's the first time I've been here for a long time. Probably 15 years or so. I was delighted. A great range of beers, lots of outdoor seating, a couple of terraces and a garden. The staff were all pleasant too. We just popped in for a beer after a walk and ended up staying for two. We intend on eating here now as the food looked incredible. Price of a pint was a little steep at £6.50, but the view was probably worth it. I will return, sooner rather than later.”
“Extremely nice ambience and service with excellent taste of food especially Cheesy Seekh kebabs. I would suugest them to expand their menu to include Tawa platters, Arabic cuisine like Mandi and also some Noodles & Soups. They also help us celebrate our Birth Day party with nice chanting. Thanks to the lovely staff.”
“Lovely wholesome food, would highly recommend. Tried the masala fish which was flavourful and fresh. Lamb karahi which was made as requested, soft tender meat and really well balanced spices and aromas. The fresh ginger and chillies were perfect. Definitely try if you love authentic pakistani/afghani food, we visited from London and was pleased to see this place hasn't just become a tiktok famous place like many other restaurants who don't care about the food.”
“Perfect Parmesan as always, I haven’t had one in quite a while. Parmolicious is always the go to spot. Large hot shot parmo for £10 can’t really complain at that.”
“Wonderfull food, relaxed atmosphere overall, one waiter tiresome but all others polite and helpfull. Great family Xmas meal thanks everyone for a great evening. I want to return soon.”
“Lovely and clean place, staff are very friendly. Food was amazing taste so good. Will recommend this place.”
“Decided to book a table for a family celebration for 6 and it didn’t disappoint! We opted for the tapas and choose several dishes, nearly everything on the menu, with our faves being the Gambas with garlic, the Heuvos Rotos, Grilled rump steak and the Rose Harissa & lemon chicken thighs. We finished off with churros, the Basque cheesecake, Tarte de Santiago and coffees. Every dish that came out looked vibrant and was as good to eat as it looked. The dishes were brought out staggered so you weren’t overfaced with everything at once and gave us chance to try the plates before another dish was brought. A fabulous little place with great food and a great atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.”
“Great little cottage for our 1 night stay in Haworth. Communication with host was excellent. Cottage is well equipped. It is a short walk to the town centre and to the main attractions.”
“Had a lovely 30-minute boat trip with my dog, who was curious about her first ever experience on a boat. The skipper was friendly and nice. I would recommend it.”
“What a great place to eat. Good food, plentiful, well presented, nice ambience, easy parking, reasonable prices and excellent customer service.”
“Had a date night here on a Saturday and thought the food was delicious! Service was great and portions were pretty good too. The sea bass and calamari were the best dishes we had. It’s worth noting that they prefer cash and there is a cash machine a few minutes down the road. Decor is great and seems like a lovely busy family restaurant.”
“I’m very picky with steak, but this place absolutely blew me away. I tried the chicken steak, sizzler, stir fry, and lamb chop sizzler — every single dish was flawless. The mash was soft and buttery, the vegetables cooked perfectly, the chicken tender (not the usual rubbery texture you often get with chicken steak), and the chips were fresh and crisp. The lamb chops were especially delicious — succulent, well-seasoned, and not overly spiced. Honestly, I couldn’t fault a single thing. Everything on the plate was perfect. Highly recommended!”
“I had a fantastic experience at Howdy. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was excellent . I tried the steak, and it was cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful. The sides complemented the meal wonderfully. Overall, a great spot for a delicious dining experience!”
“Went for a breakfast wrap also a chicken wrap too. Served with a smile very pleasing. Cafe full of customers all talking to each other lovely spot great cook there too”
“Best curry we’ve ever had, hands down. Meat is amazing quality, curries are so tasty and full of flavour and the sundries are also delicious. Have had a few times and it never misses, definitely a regular.”
“Love this place without a doubt will come back again!!! We came up to Yorkshire to celebrate a family event and decided to come to this family run Italian restaurant as it’s the only other one that was open in the town (other one was closed). The staff were all so lovely and helpful helping us choose what to eat, the owners dad was singing and whistling while serving it was a great vibe. All the customers were speaking Italian and the place was full so we knew we came to the right place! We even ended up seeing the owner and her dad in the cafe we went to the next morning haha! Now the food, they had a deal for three courses I think it was £18 We got the calamari, garlic bread and king prawns Maybe because we opted for the deal we got served smaller portions but that’s no issue you get what you paid for however the king prawns were not king prawns at all, they were very small and were regular prawns and only 5 came. They were the size of a 10p coin. Also didn’t come with shells (which upon asking about why these aren’t king prawns which we didn’t get an answer to, they have no shells because the community doesn’t like it which is understandable) the sauce however was spicy but not too much and had a great fresh tomato flavour!! The calamari was delicious the sauce was also great, and the garlic bread was soft and pillowy, great to dip into the sauce of the prawns!! The mains were a very big let down, lacking of flavour but good portions. I got the mixed seafood linguine in tomato sauce, my friend got the lobster ravioli and my other friend got the chicken, cream and pesto pasta I believe. My pasta was a generous portion with plenty of seafood however had no flavour, no salt or pepper no garlic nothing it was just as if they just stirred the pasta with the sauce and seafood and just put it on a plate. My friends lobster ravioli didn’t taste of lobster at all just of fish, like sickening fishy, I think they may use seafood bouillon or fish paste in the sauce or ravioli, no complaints from the chicken cream and pesto friend but he eats anything really haha. The pasta itself was cooked really well and aldente! I think they sensed we didn’t like it and did offer to change our pastas however we didn’t want to complain as they were so lovely!!! Also the wine we ordered was a white wine and we got a bottle, it was warm… and we realised it came out of the box it had came in and wasn’t in the fridge at all. The wine cooler they put on the table that had the wine in had a few measles ice cubes at the bottom and was plastic… so didn’t do a good job at all. Surely, Knowing you’ve not got a properly chilled wine, you would provide a proper cooler and more ice, nevertheless the bottle of Pinot Grigio was delicious. The service and dessert is where they won us over, they had a special dessert of Trilece (they import the caramel from Albania, and the homemade tiramisu! These were to die for, even though we were stuffed we practically licked our plates clean. We ended our dinner with a lovely chat with all the staff about what there is to do in Haworth and Keighley and Limoncello on the house. The food is extremely reasonably priced but I’m coming up from London so I’m not going to blab on about that haha, and they don’t even add service to their bills. They said that their menu is expensive to where they are. 3 courses for each person ( we were three people) and a bottle of wine £75 !!!!!! I highly recommend this place if you’re nearby and if I ever go back up to Keighley I will be visiting again!!! Grazie per averci ospitato, ci vediamo di nuovo!”

“Had the garlic chicken balti and oh my, was it tasty? A rich, soupy gravy and just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend.”
“We always stop at this hotel when we are in the Halifax area because we get such good service from Alisa and the rest of her team. They are a credit to Premier Inn. Paul and Pam Webb”
“Always great, the store would be nowhere without Qasim that guy should set the standard for customer service.”
“Me and my partner went today for the 3 course meal. 1. The service was brilliant 2. The food was absolutely delicious 3. Location was gorgeous We will be definitely going again also noticed the Christmas dinner was 49.95 So might book for that.”
“Just across the road from us. When the whole street smells delicious, you know Takin' The Pizza has opened. They have always been extremely friendly and the food speaks for itself. Our favourite is the combo salami pizza. (they never skimp on the toppings!) My neighbour and I have run into eachother many a time, one of us clutching a warm pizza box and the other on their way over to get their own. We Live Local, so we Eat local!”
“We have ordered from here twice over the last month and the food for a TAKEAWAY is excellent. Both times delivered (2miles away) and both times the food was piping hot. We have had the special szechuan, beef in black bean and chicken in OK, all very tasty.”
