“I had a day procedure under general anaesthetic for removal of varicose veins. I felt very nervous when I arrived at the hospital but the calm and reassuring manner of all the staff very soon calmed my nerves. As for Mr. Mahomed the surgeon who performed the operation I cannot recommend him highly enough . The nursing staff were very kind and empathetic when I returned from theatre and looked after me until I was able to go home early evening.”

“there seems little point in reviewing NHS dentists as finding one is so hard, that any ensuing butchery is tolerable, so long as it keeps you alive (one of my friends recently died because she couldn't access dental care). However, if i could recommend dentists, then this is one i would recommend . my dentist is patient, is brilliant with consent, is reassuring and goes at your pace. Yes, it is still a place where you go and get tortured, but torture isn't so bad when you are considered as a human being, it turns out. i'm leaving a review more for the practitioners themselves than the customers, to be honest. no one gets to choose these days. i feel I've won a dental lottery.”

“Always a pleasure to visit the twins. Always polite, very welcoming, great with the kids and they just happen to be damn good barbers too. I can't remember how long I've been going there now, something like 10 years or so i think. Haven't let anyone else touch my hair since meeting these lads so I'd say that speaks volumes in itself.”

“The RSPCA Halifax was really helpful and understanding about the dog we had chosen. The staff helped us chose the correct training leads and the harness for her. They explained to us how to look after her feeding pattern as she was underweight. Also if we had any problems they offered afrercare all we had to do was ring them up. Most professional.
