βwe came today to buy a few goldfish for our pond and came home with the most beautiful fish. they had a huge selection from comets to higher grade fancy goldfish. the prices were also a lot lower that everywhere else starting from only Β£2.40. the owners were very nice, the lady let us pick any fish and they both were very helpful. they even had birds like cockatiels, canaries ext and beautiful koi. had the best experience here, now probably our favourite aquatic shop.β

βMoved to Calder Vets from another practice after being unhappy with the service there. βI've read the reviews about this Veterinary practice and I personally have nothing but praise for our Cleckheaton branch. Our little dog Odie was diagnosed with diabetes 19 months ago and with the vets and all staff (especially Stacey) Odie was happy and comfortable until the end. I can't praise the vet at Morley (Hazal) enough, she was so good with Odie at the end, she had tears in her eyes and the 2 nurses who put Odie's canula in where so kind, they spoke gently to Odie all the time. They couldn't do enough and where so caring and sympathetic and nothing was rushed, we where allowed as much time as we needed. When we went to collect Odie's ashes, the presentation was so thoughtful and again Stacey was kind and gentle, allowing us the time we needed to enable us to take him home. A big thank you from our hearts to all the staff involved in Odie's care from him being a puppy until his peaceful sleep.β
βThe team there are fantastic, they work very hard and do everything possible for your pet.they don't ask much for ther service, and all they ask for is a small donation, which my family do every time.but you get those who go there and don't even offer a dime, and then go out and get in their Β£50 grand Mercedes, that's just wrong, especially when..e.g they've saved their pets life...?β

βThank you to all the staff at white cross! Whenever i call to enquire about appointments for all the stray cats i help , they have always gone above and beyond to book in (even when i have to rearrange sometimes) without making the kitties feel less important than our own pets. Shows they are a caring practice. Would definitely recommend.β
βTerry was wonderful and put Elsa our golden retriever at ease as soon as we went into the room. It was clear from his approach that his main focus was Elsa and ensuring she was ok. βCaring, compassionate and professional. Our cat was with Tweed House for 15 years, they always treated her, and us, with care and respect. They gave honest opinions and never tried to push unnecessary procedures onto us, always putting our cats welfare first. They would regularly squeeze in emergency appointments when needed, and always had a smile and a shoulder to cry on. When our cat sadly had to be put to sleep recently Tweed House were amazing. They gave us as much time as we needed, spoke to us with understanding and compassion, and even sent us a beautiful hand written sympathy card after she passed. I cannot praise them enough, they are all angels.β
βThis vet is great. They found out the problem gave me options, and made my Sammy feel better. All at a great price. Thanksβ
βWe have used Shearbridge Vets for over 20 years with various pets. Theyβre always caring, compassionate, doing the best for the animal and discussing the issues realistically. Theyβre give you the pros and cons of each procedure and test, advising on what is best for the animal while also considering the cost - which is unfortunately a factor we all have to consider. This company only want to do whatβs best for pets and their families, they have never advised a test βjust becauseβ for profit, only for the animalβs benefit. I trust and recommend these vets to anyone who is interested / needs a vet. Whether itβs a check over or an emergency theyβve always been 100%, and we have had a couple of emergencies - including a house fire where the pets involved needed an urgent check up and were seen almost immediately. Thanks Shearbridge, Iβll be back next week!β
