βVery caring service for all my pets (2 dogs and a cat) - Star (my Italian Greyhound) wags her tail and greets the vets, they are so good with her. I can wholeheartedly recommendβ
βAny pets we've taken here have had an excellent experience and prompt and effective care. As far as we know, they're an independent outfit and not part of some large conglomerate, which may also account for their reasonable pricing. The only thing to watch is the parking in their yard, which can be tight and awkward, but you can usually park further away if it's a problem.β
βTerry was wonderful and put Elsa our golden retriever at ease as soon as we went into the room. It was clear from his approach that his main focus was Elsa and ensuring she was ok. Terry immediately put mine and my husbandβs minds at ease after giving Elsa a thorough check over - itβs so comforting to know we have a vet that we trust and who has a real, genuine care for animals. Thank you Terry!β

βWe have used Shearbridge Vets for over 20 years with various pets. Theyβre always caring, compassionate, doing the best for the animal and discussing the issues realistically. Theyβre give you the pros and cons of each procedure and test, advising on what is best for the animal while also considering the cost - which is unfortunately a factor we all have to consider. This company only want to do whatβs best for pets and their families, they have never advised a test βjust becauseβ for profit, only for the animalβs benefit. I trust and recommend these vets to anyone who is interested / needs a vet. Whether itβs a check over or an emergency theyβve always been 100%, and we have had a couple of emergencies - including a house fire where the pets involved needed an urgent check up and were seen almost immediately. Thanks Shearbridge, Iβll be back next week!β
βThis is a very lovely little vets surgery. Staff are amazing supportive even to somone who are not registered to them. Compassionate and sympathetic to me about my pet who was looking like he needed to be put down. Luckily he pulled though and is doing very well now. Would recommendβ
βThey were really good with my doggy, she had an infection and they were so careful with her, after one week with antibiotics she is completely fine now. I'll definitely choose them as our veterinary for Freya.β
βI have been a client of the Avenue Vets for 50 years, initially in Saltaire and now at Bingley. They are a lovely team and take good care of my waifs and strays that I take on.β
βWhen our dog sustained an injury recently we needed to visit the vetβs. The whole experience and process of initial urgent appointment to being referred onto a specialist hospital for surgery was excellent. All staff were compassionate and caring to us as owners and to our dog. Communication was brilliant in all aspects of explaining the injury, costings and the referral process for getting specialist treatmentβ

βI brought my cat in to be neutered and couldnβt be happier with the care we received. The staff was professional, compassionate, and clearly experienced. They made sure to explain the procedure thoroughly and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. The surgery went smoothly, and my cat was back to his usual self in no time. I really appreciated the follow-up instructions and how easy it was to reach out with any post-op concerns. Itβs clear they truly care about the well-being of their patients. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality veterinary care!β
βMy dog was due for a 6 monthly checkup and annual vaccinations, as well as a Citapoint injection and the administration of her flea and wormer tablet (which she wonβt take from me). We received a warm welcome at the Reception Desk, with hugs and treats for my dog, and an excellent session with vet Stuart Black, who made my dog feel very much at home in the surgery, and not only conducted the procedures very efficiently, but gave very helpful nutritional advice.β
βAmazing staff! Taken my dog a few times over the past few weeks. Even with the restrictions, they made us both feel welcome. After the cancer diagnosis they were warm, friendly and knowledgeable explaining next steps in a way i could understand.β
βMoved to Calder Vets from another practice after being unhappy with the service there. I couldnβt be more pleased that I chose this practice and have been treated in an extremely friendly and professional manner since day one. The care and attention to detail has been second to none. Our cat is very relaxed and comfortable with the team and their passion for their profession really stands out.β
βHad to take our collie to the Burnley practice, this morning, and kind of "knew" that we wouldn't be bringing him home. We don't know the name of the vet who dealt with us, a really young guy, who was lovely to deal with. He was gentle and kind with our dog, and sympathetic, respectful and clear with his explanations to us. We were obviously upset but he made the process as bearable as these things can be. I hope he gets to read this review, or at least is told about it. He's a credit to the practice, and needs to be held on to (take note, managers). A kind professional, good with upset clients and lovely with animals - Burnley's James Herriotβ
βI've read the reviews about this Veterinary practice and I personally have nothing but praise for our Cleckheaton branch. Our little dog Odie was diagnosed with diabetes 19 months ago and with the vets and all staff (especially Stacey) Odie was happy and comfortable until the end. I can't praise the vet at Morley (Hazal) enough, she was so good with Odie at the end, she had tears in her eyes and the 2 nurses who put Odie's canula in where so kind, they spoke gently to Odie all the time. They couldn't do enough and where so caring and sympathetic and nothing was rushed, we where allowed as much time as we needed. When we went to collect Odie's ashes, the presentation was so thoughtful and again Stacey was kind and gentle, allowing us the time we needed to enable us to take him home. A big thank you from our hearts to all the staff involved in Odie's care from him being a puppy until his peaceful sleep.β
βFabulous staff! So helpful and clearly adore their patients. The vet was very understanding and gave me some excellent advice. Receptionist was wonderful and smiley. Only issue is parking, but not much can be done about that!β
βMet with Vet Rory who was one of the best vets I have seen in a long while. Took time to listen, was lovely with my 12 year old dog, Elvis, didn't recommend any unnecessary procedures, talked me through my options and gave advice on each one. I didn't feel rushed (even though they were busy) and came away feeling much hopeful for my older animal getting what he needsβ
βSince moving vets this is the first time I have had to bring one of dogs. He is usually a very nervous dog but right away, we were met by friendly staff who put ourselves and Archie at ease. This was continued when we met the vet who made archie feel comfortable, didn't try to push products on us, explained possible treatments and costs, and was knowledgeable and friendly throughout. We ledt feeling like even the vet had Archies best interests in mind opposed to trying to rack up the highest bill. Best vets visit since he was a pup, now he's 8! Would definitely recommend.β
βThe team there are fantastic, they work very hard and do everything possible for your pet.they don't ask much for ther service, and all they ask for is a small donation, which my family do every time.but you get those who go there and don't even offer a dime, and then go out and get in their Β£50 grand Mercedes, that's just wrong, especially when..e.g they've saved their pets life...?β
βAbsolutely brilliant veterinarian. Qasim was kind professional making us feel welcome. Qasim showed care for our cat. Highly recommend the Vet Qasim at Vets4pets Thornton road Bradford!β

βI visited Calder vets in Mirfield today for my bunny. The service provided by the veterinarian and receptionist were amazing. My rabbit was treated by Iwona who was so kind and helpful, and I could clearly see she cared about peaches (my bunny). Amazing service I couldnβt be more satisfied xβ

Not only did Tavi look at the issue my cat had gone in for but looked at two other little issues as well. Not only is Tavi a great vet he is also a nice person.
