“Now one of my favourite places in Halifax, the food was lovely. Sometimes there’s live music on a weekend. The owner (I presume) came over and talked to us about our food and how he appreciated us coming in. The staff are lovely! You can tell they’ve put a lot of effort into the place and it’s so welcoming. Be here everyday if I could”

“Called without booking for a Sunday lunch today and wasn’t disappointed! They cater for those with a smaller appetite which is perfect for my elderly mother in law. The food was absolutely lovely and the portion size perfect. Highly recommend”

“Dear. Bowling Green Oltey, it's been a few years now, coming to weather spoon bowling green pub, 2-3times a week. Food is amazing chefs are nice and polite (Mickey) one of the chef from bowling green weather spoons pub. Nice and polite, smiling. The manager (Laura) polite, very helpful, most of the time very busy, working on almost everything serving, handing plates out, smiling very polite to us, every time we are there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service.”

“Sun’s out Fun’s out at right now at The 147 Odsal. Outdoor BBQ, DJ, a family and pet friendly environment with the best staff of any pub I’ve frequented (and I’ve done my share of research!) If the sun isn’t your thing they have a snooker hall, 3 pool tables and 2 dart boards. Either way, the staff, the customers and the food are properly next level!”

“Lovely staff and food was nice considering how busy it was. It was a little slow on service with food coming out however bartender/waitress Kayleigh and Donna made amazing cocktails and were helpful and polite whilst we were waiting and came to check on us multiple times”

“My wife and teenage daughters were based in Pudsey for 3 weeks as we were visiting from Australia to see family. We absolutely loved Spoons and the entire staff and community that frequented there. We were “frequent” visitors for meals and quiet late night drinks.The staff are 5 star. Thanks for a wonderful venue.”

“An amazing bar and place. It's such a shame to see idiots reviewing it based on people who don't like people smoking outside. (Oli) Which ironically isn't the bars fault. Don't like it go to one of your posh pubs. These types of people don't understand freedom. Are you having your meal outside spoons? No. Let them smoke away.”

“Another excellent Wetherspooons pub. Was visiting Halifax as a fan of Exeter City Football Club. A long 275 miles, 6-hour coach journey, so refreshments were in order. It's only a short 5-minute walk from the Shay ground. I ordered the Gourmet Buffalo chicken burger meal. £11.92 including a pint of beer. The food was okay. I ordered on the Wetherspoons app, which means you get excellent, speedy service.”

“It's on the upper level of sunbridgewells. Only a small place but a huge amount of character and a great place for a few drinks before a show. Will be back!”

“We visited Drub Club last night for the first time to see Luke Flear, singer. What a lovely club, so welcoming with lovely people. The drinks were very reasonable. My husband liked the Boddingtons and the wine was very nice. We just wish we had visited earlier but will definitely be back - thank you x”
