“Came across this place on the Uber eats app. I fancied a pizza so ordered the Asian Special. It was very good, great base and plenty of toppings. Will be ordering again and will try something different.”

“Loved it here. Really great food, biscoff cheesecake highly recommended. We went for the Sunday dinner and we weren't disappointed! The lady who served us looked to be new and she was so lovely and helpful. Also a really nice view and the sun was shining. Could do with a couple more parasols when the sun is blaring but we will be back.”

“Me and a few friends were working in Huddersfield for a few days and decided to try this place on our lunch. It was way better than any of us had expected. Polite and friendly service, reasonably priced and the food was absolutely amazing. I had chicken wings and chips and I expected it to be average at best, but when it came I was surprised at how delicious it was. We tried to go back the next day but it was closed unfortunately. If I’m ever in the area again I will be returning. Great stuff”

“Location was perfect, 5 mins drive from Hudderfield Private Hospital. Hotel and room very clean and well equipped. The staff, especially Maggie and Sarah were delightful. Very friendly and professional. We had received some unsettling news and needed to get off some urgent emails. They assisted and were extremely helpful and empathetic. Housekeeping were ace too and slipped a courtesy note under our door, would we like our room xleaned, we had forfotten to pop the Do not disturb sign on the door. Ibraham was in attendance behind the bar and he too was a joy. We are returning to the area in the very near future and without doubt this is where we will choose to stay. Entirely exceeded our expectations.”

“We had been out walking yesterday and we popped in here for a drink and ended up staying all night. The outside area is great and pretty at night with the lights. The drinks are reasonably priced and good. We met lots of people we hadn't seen for a long time and had a really fab evening and even though this is not in our area, it is definitely going to be our "go to" pub. Really good music and atmosphere and a fabulous, fun and welcoming new Landlady called Andrea. We will be back!”

“Best Chinese food I have ever tasted, Wans have been here for about 45 years and still as good as ever. Lovely people, lovely food, dont believe the poor review, obviously they dont know what good food is. Wans will make food to your liking I ask for spicy beef curry and they add extra chillies for me, always service with a smile and they deliver. They are the best.”

“I have been here quite a few times and every time the staff have been extremely nice and helpful, the food is always of such good quality and fairly well priced in today’s market. Yes this is a small family run establishment, so I really do enjoy support local gems like this. I am a picky eater but there food from chips, burgers, pizzas all the way down to the sauces are really good quality and tasty. You have a local customer for life!”

FOR THE OTHERS I know food really well round halifax and was struggling to find a decent place as all the others were too sloppy with oil and grease and the cuts of meat were poor, and didn’t tase fresh. The portion size was good but the quality was not there. TIAN TIAN This place is amazing in every way, they have managed to get a great balance of flavours while retaining the correct consistency, and everything tasted fresh, with no oil or grease And the portion size was nice and generous Thank you I’ll be back”

“Me and my husband went here for 1 night for his 30th birthday and it was amazing. The staff decorated the room with birthday balloons and banners which made his birthday extra special. The staff were lovely and very polite. The stay suite was beautiful in every single way, the shower was amazing and the bath was very lovely. I would be staying here again.”
