“Brilliant little spot! Thai Corner in Borough Market, Halifax serves some of the best street-style Thai food I’ve ever had. The flavours are fresh, punchy, and absolutely authentic — proper wok-fried goodness that feels straight out of Bangkok. The Pad Kra Pao was incredible, full of spice and depth, and the noodles had that perfect smoky “wok-hei” flavour. Everything’s cooked right in front of you, piping hot and bursting with colour and aroma. The team are lovely — friendly, quick, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can grab your food and wander the market or just perch nearby and enjoy the buzz. If you love proper Thai street food — fast, fresh, and full of flavour — Thai Corner is a must-try. Halifax is lucky to have it!”

“Went for breakfast, coffee and cake and it was absolutely worth it. Prime location in piece hall with outdoor seating, wonderful staff and customer service and delicious goods. Also quite affordable and a friendly ambience. Would definitely recommend! Is on lower ground floor next to library has wheelchair accessibility.”

“Papa John’s always delivers great pizza! The bases are soft, the toppings are fresh, and the garlic dip is the best. The food always tastes delicious and arrives hot. Definitely one of my favourite places to order from when I’m craving pizza!”

“Very large jacket potatos baked to perfection and you can choose a variety of toppings including chicken flake, chicken mayo flake, chilli con carne or chicken steak. Panini's and wraps all available too. Somosas chat also available. All the food (I've tried most the menu) is lovely. If you're feeling a deli lunch or tea ie a panini meal or chicken wrap. It's the place to be . Prices are very cheap and I think they do some deals too like four meals for a certain price. The somosas chat with imbli sauce and onions is like you would expect and served in a little tub. Take aways only no eating in area. Waiting time usually ten to fifteen mins. Kind hard working staff. They also sell the Asian sweets (ladoo jalebi gulaab jamun etc) and party fresh cream cakes of different sizes which you can get something written on like a birthday message for no added cost. The sweets are all fresh and taste wonderful. About two steps to go up to enter so unfortunately not wheelchair friendly. Wish they had eat in. Don't know why they don't. They have the space for a few tables.,”

The chicken strips is a personal favourite, always juicy and perfectly spiced. The service is quick and friendly, and the vibe is relaxed but welcoming. Whether I’m dining in or grabbing a takeaway, it never disappoints. Highly recommend!”

“We had a fantastic time at The Old White Beare in Norwood Green. It’s a beautiful, characterful pub with a really cosy atmosphere and a proper village feel. The staff were friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent – generous portions, well cooked and nicely presented. Our mains were full of flavour and the desserts were the perfect finish. Great choice of drinks too, with plenty of beers, wines and spirits to pick from. Loved the relaxed vibe and the comfortable seating areas, both inside and out. It’s the kind of place you can happily spend an afternoon in. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend The Old White Beare to anyone looking for a quality pub meal in a lovely setting.”

“Fabulous ! There's no other word that describes this take away any better! My friend had lived in West Vale years ago and we wanted a take out, he remembered Mohs but not just where it was. Naturally we went the wrong way but what a find ! The staff are delightful, offered to make or change any dish to our taste. A really pleasant young man served us & our food was ready in no time. It was delicious & very generous portions so well be back without a doubt. It's a bit tucked away as tge only shopfront with steps which are quite steep but we'll worth the effort of getting up them! Massive thanks to all at Moh's, an absolute King of Curries !!!”

“Lovely Chinese takeaway tonight for my family, we ordered for delivery which was a little bit of a wait just one hour but well worth it.
