“My 1 year old loves attending nursery here and always has the happiest little face when we pick him up. The staff have always been fantastic, even through all the challenges of the last year and I can't praise them highly enough. They are all inclusive too which I haven't seen many other nurseries offer and was one of the big selling points for me.I don't have to worry about nappies suncream etc, it's all taken care of. The forest school is an added bonus and the grounds are by far the most beautiful I have seen at any nursery. My son has developed a real love of the outdoors during his time here”

    Splash Swim Academy Bradford

    ★★★★☆ 3.9

“Just a few weeks left then we will part from Splash after 9 years and both my kids have gone through it. The youngest is now at standard that with finishing primary school that she is done. Probably the best way to judge it is that twice we moved to Ogden Otters for 6 months or so each time due to it being closer and dates/times working better for us. However, twice we came back as Splash Bradford was simply way better (we used mostly St Bedes school but also Bradford Grammar School for a while). Ogden Otters told you how wonderful they were and how good their bespoke training pool was (and the water was warmer admittedly) but they were actually really poor. The pool was far too small, the lessons were of really poor quality. They would have a class of 6 and each child would do something with instructor whilst others waited at edge of pool. I took to timing Ogden Otters and on multiple occasions, I timed my daughter swimming for between 3 to 4 minutes in 30 minute lesson. At Splash, the classes are smaller with 4 maximum and often if kids don't turn up, my daughters have been in classes of 1 or 2. They ensure the kids are working almost constantly and with pool being much bigger than Ogden Otters, it all works way better. To my untrained eye, the lessons seem really good and the coaches know what they are doing. They are fun and the kids have always loved the 5 minutes at end when do fun things if they have worked hard. At end of day, I now have 2 kids who can swim with far better style than I ever had and I wish that I had Splash type lessons when I was young. Very happy to recommend them. One final thought, the communication and payment is also good and easy at Splash - you know where you stand. Ogden Otters amazingly took cash only and flat refused even a bank transfer. This was often inconvenient as don't carry cash anymore and if you were late, they imposed late penalty on you. It always felt like a tax fiddle which I don't approve of. Splash is all direct debits and clear communications.”

“Since transferring to Year 1 at Bankfoot primary school my son has developed in so many ways, he has bloomed and is growing into an independent free thinking child. He is more confident and balanced and looks forward to going to school everyday. I put this down to the experienced teachers who are caring and professional to whom I am very grateful.”

“Extremely impressed and pleased with Ghyll Royd Pre-School and Nursery. I have two children attending at the moment, both started soon after turning two and one of them will be starting school in September. They provide excellent care and with the nursery being attached to an independent primary school, they can take advantage of all their facilities such as the music room, sports hall and extensive grounds”

Baildon C Of E Primary School

    ★★★★★ 4.8

“The children are all treated as individuals, known well by their teachers and encouraged to be their best. The range of activities they get to enjoy is vast. The pastoral care is exemplary when needed. Communication between the school and parents is forthcoming to make planning much easier. They offer many opportunities for parents to find out what their children are doing at school, which beats the "fine" response that the children often give when asked how their say was. I would definitely recommend Church School.”
