“I whole heartedly recommend this practice. They have treated our dog before amd did so woth so much care. Today, they admitted my kitten who had a deep abscess on his face. They are so emphatic amd caring and will go above and beyond to make sure the animals that they treat are priority. I honestly couldn't be more grateful to everyone who works here. The lady at reception started her day early as I had plan, the nurses who tended to his every need throughout the day and the vet who worked on him twice. Thank you all so much. “Such a lovely vets. I went to another vet for my terrapin and wasn't happy with their service so spent time googling and found Farthings and I'm so pleased I did. Location ideal, parking ideal, reception staff all friendly on phone, email and in personal. Vet was so nice and not judgemental. Sadly I had to say goodbye to my 20 year old terrapin. Was such a horrible day but knowing I was in a better vets helped the situation. Collected my terrapin today and again such lovely staff. It's going to take me a while to get over losing luke but knowing the vets were thinking of the best rather than money and were just so lovely compared to the other vets I went to will always be remembered. Will highly recommend to anyone I speak to. Thank you again so much for making a horrible situation a little easier for me I'll always be grateful.”

“We have moved to polegate from Hastings and chose this vets purely on recommendation. We have 3 pets and cookie this yorkie is our oldest. She's 15 years old and starting to get poorly. This veterinary practice greets you on the phone with a cheerful and happy manner. When you visit the practice all the staff are so sweet, they are kind, caring, considerate, full of smiles and really make you and your pets feel welcome. I've seen 2 different vets now and both were really thorough and very informative. You don't feel rushed or like you have no idea what they are talking about. They really take the time to explain and put your mind at ease. I could not recommend them enough. We are going back on Wednesday for another procedure for our little cookie, and I feel totally at ease knowing she will be looked after properly.”

Roz the vet gave Pop an injection and emailed his file to our vet so we can follow up. We were very happy with the help our furbaby received and would highly recommend this vet.”

Not only did they help me with the puppies to and from my car, but helped entertain them all when they were either waiting or after being chipped, helped keep them happy when I was at the desk paying, just genuinely made my day so much easier and I cannot thank them enough. The vet himself (I’m sorry I don’t know his name!) was brilliant. Could see he was very confident, very reassuring and he made sure they all got some affection after he had finished. “We've had to take both our Lurchers there in the last couple of months, the staff fitted us them in very quickly and did a great job with both of them. They were great with both dogs, 1 of them is very nervous around vets, but they were very patient with him, and the other 1 needed to have a wound stitched up, they took great care of her. Highly recommend this vets.”

“I am so grateful to this practice for all the fantastic care and attention they have given to my cat, especially over the last 18months since she was diagnosed with 2 critical illnesses. I always knew they were good from our annual vet check ups and occasional visits following the odd cat fight! However, since her diagnoses last year the staff have been absolutely brilliant - both with our cat and with us. Every member of staff has been extremely friendly, professional, knowledgable, honest and so very caring. It's been a long journey already but 18 months on and our lovely little cat is back to her playful, mischievous self and in the best health for a while. Whilst that may not last forever, I know she is in the best possible care with the team at Southdown. I cannot recommend them highly enough!”

“We were recently referred by our local vets to see Gavin .Our eleven and a half year old Staffie had started to suffer from extreme lack of energy which we were concerned about.We got an early appointment with Gavin who advised us she would need to stay overnight for tests and treatments as needed .She was diagnosed with heart failure.Two months on She is a different dog running,playing and so much happier due to the medication as prescribed.So it is with the care and attention given by Gavin and his team that we have our Lovely Tia back enjoying a good life.We would highly recommend this surgery. “I wasn't registered with this vet, but took my dog in for an emergency when she took a turn. She sadly passed the following day, but every single member of staff I dealt with was completely professional, empathetic and tactfully honest. I'm not sure her name, but in particular the vet who conducted the final prodecure with my dog was excellent, with an excellent manner, extremely kind and caring both to me and my pet. This practice is staffed by people who genuinely care about animals.”

It was 5.55pm and closing time, and young lady called Lisa answered, listened to my rambling very patiently and gave me good advice... DAISY Used one of her 9 lives, made it through to next morning. At 8.30 my phone rang and it was Lisa from STELLAR, to enquire after Daisy. That small act of kindness meant so much and reassured me that the lovely people at STELLAR VETS really are looking after Littlehampton pets. Give them a visit . You won't be disappointed. Ps. “My anxious dog had to go in for sedation and x-ray. Everyone was approachable. The Nurse Cara was so calm and kind that my dog even allowed her to place a cannula and was comfortable for the appointment. The very rang as promised to explain the results and a treatment plan.
