“We went here for a coffee and a cake while we waited for the car having a mot at Mr MOT which was just a minute or two walk from here. A great place to relax while you stress over the car, or on any other day you feel like a coffee. Friendly staff, the iced latte was really nice and the cakes are a nice temptation. “A treasure-Tardis packed with the essential, the functional and even the decorative. From nails & candles, brooms & bins, cookware to cleaning products and even some urban gardening bits too! Helpful, knowledgeable staff who also do a key cutting service for most standard keys. Highly recommended.”

“A quick stay in Brighton meant a google search for somewhere to get breakfast. Lucky for us we came across CoffeetZar. What a wonderful friendly welcome, lovely bright fresh decor ,exceptional coffee & loads of delicious looking food choices. I had the Greek yoghurt with granola ,sour cherries & honey. And oh my!. My husband had a more traditional choice. Both delicious and good value. Couldn’t resist a couple of homemade treats for the long drive home either.”

“Stumbled upon thorndales after searching for good solid well made furniture. Sales team very helpful but not overly pushy. Questions all answered in professional manner. Ordered and true to their word arrived in time frame. Delivery organised and driver and mate arrived exactly on the dot. Carried in unwrapped .und took all packing away. Would recommend”

“Honestly, one of the best cafes I’ve ever been to. One of the last great traditional cafes, but with a fresh and exciting vegan menu that makes sure everyone feels included. The staff here were absolutely delightful too. Couldn’t recommend enough. Super affordable too! Very small inside and outside though so if it’s peak times you might struggle for a table.”

“Jake the bike mechanic went above and beyond to service and work on my bike. It went in a little worse for wear and came out better than it’s ever been. - upgraded my old handle bars to Aeros, - changed & re routing all the cables - wrapping new bar tape - adjusted the break and gear levers. - fixed my front mec - fitted a new rear cassette - fitted a new jockey wheel - gave the bike a ‘platinum service’ Throughout the service he kept me updated on how it was going and any recommendations he would advise. All in all a very diligent, knowledge and trustworthy man. 10/10 Many thanks Tom”

“We was a group of four on a Saturday lunchtime, we managed to get the last big table. Was a lovely vibe we all had a big breakfast and lots of goodies to help with a hangover. The food was fantastic and wasn't a long wait, everyone was really friendly and the price was reasonable.”

The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the staff were polite, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I can highly recommend eating here. “I only review a 5 star experience. Ok so I was visiting Brighton for business and changed upon this place. The aroma hit me as I was walking by and I simply had to go in. I chose a Vegan meal deal and was served by the simply beautiful Ayesha. You know when you are dealing with an person who is genuinely helpful and so friendly and positive. It really does make a difference. When I have a 5 star experience I offer the servers a free portrait. They mostly decline but Ayesha was flattered and loved the final results. Positive ambience, super tasty coffee, great meal deal value, wonderful staff.”
