“Celebrating 55 years this October and still run by the family. I have been going here since it first opened, I was a teenager then, and I'd still one of my favourite Bristol shops. Now even more favoured by the charming time spent talking to the husband and wife staff in the forces surplus section. My Vietnamese friend and his son enjoyed it too and when my friend said that he had fought the Americans during the Vietnam war as part of the Viet Kong I thought we might never stop them talking but time was against us and now there is camouflage clothing bought and one day soon it will be taken to China. A present for my friend's brother. Keep up the good work guys. This shop is so special. If you are reading this review and you have never been then do go. It's not simply military. It is all things outdoors on different floors.”

“Just moved the the area and had my first visit to Atlantic Fish Bar today. Fantastic all round. I got a large cod which was superb and priced as you’d expect (in 2025, anyway) & medium chips. What they call medium is a huge portion so if you don’t want a mountain of chips with your fish, try a cone. So glad to have a great quality chippy just a few minutes walk away! Thank you Altantic Fish Bar!”

“I love kebabs and have been eating them every day at different places for a month to find the best doner kebab in Bristol. And I found it - it's Simple Shawarma. 100% recommended. Tender and fresh meat, homemade sauces, and fresh-cut first-class vegetables. I would eat there every day if I had the chance!”

“Absolutely blown away by our experience at Salkaara Street. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm, and the atmosphere immediately set the tone for what turned out to be an incredible meal. The interior is absolutely brilliant — the walls are decorated with traditional Indian film posters, which gives the place so much charm and character. It’s vibrant, fun, and full of personality, just like the food. Let’s start with the service. Viven, our server, was outstanding. An absolute gem of a guy with a cracking mustache to match. He was attentive without being overbearing, checking in on us throughout the evening to make sure everything was spot on. It’s clear he takes pride in what he does, and that made our experience all the more enjoyable. Friendly, professional, and just a genuinely nice bloke. Now, onto the food — every single dish we had was exceptional. I started off with a mango lassi, and it was exactly what you’d hope for: cold, creamy, and incredibly refreshing. It was the perfect way to kick things off. The poppadoms arrived next with a trio of chutneys. I was especially taken with the mango and red sauce — sweet, tangy, and bursting with flavor. The mint sauce was just as good, cool and herby with a perfect balance to the spice. Honestly, I could’ve just kept eating those all evening. The Agni wings were a real highlight. Packed with flavor and heat, they had just the right amount of kick to get your tastebuds going. They were so good I found myself chewing on the bones at one point, not wanting to miss a single bit of that fiery, rich marinade. Next up, I had a lamb naan which paired beautifully with the chicken tikka I ordered. The naan was soft with a slightly crisp edge and filled with that deliciously spiced lamb. It went down an absolute treat. The chicken tikka itself was perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and infused with that signature smoky tandoori flavor. Served with a portion of pulao rice that was fluffy, fragrant, and just the right texture, the whole dish came together beautifully. The sauce that accompanied it was rich and savory, tying everything together into a truly satisfying main course. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The food was delicious, the portions generous, the ambiance vibrant, and the service absolutely top tier. A special shout out once again to Viven — if he’s not running the place, he should be. The man knows how to look after his guests and clearly takes pride in making people feel welcome and well-fed. Great food, great service, great price. Salkaara Street has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorites. I’ll absolutely be back.”

“This is one of my favourite falafel places in the UK, probably at #1. We have been to 4 different eat a pitta locations in the last 7 years and, as always, we were not disappointed! We got the large falafel boxes with all salads, hot chilli and tzatziki sauce. I got jalepeno hummus. They were as good as ever and we were pleased to see the welcome addition of crinkle cut fries. They were seasoned well but lacked a bit of oomf (tasted a bit too healthy!) The mix of salads is ideal - I think they did forget the bulgur one on one of ours but it’s okay. The olives and pickles and feta were really good add ons. So lemony and fresh. I love the tzatziki and hot chilli sauces. My bowl was the perfect level of spice for me! Which is you can definitely feel the spice but nothing uncomfortable. If anyone from eat a pitta HQ is reading this - PLEASE come to London! We need you! It is always somewhere I look forward to going on visits to Bristol. This location has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating- better for for small groups.”

“Wow wow wow!!!! A vegan variety taste sensation!! Without doubt the best meal I’ve ever had. My party shared a multitude of dishes, all were beyond delicious!! So affordable too. I’m tempted to fly back from NZ just to experience this wonderful evening again! Staff were warming helpful and so friendly and the ambience was magical. The whole package. “Exquisite Experience and food lives here. Menu was a valentine menu which might be different from the norms. As a gourmet, I cannot fault all of the food and service that was served to me during my time here. Traveled 1hr30min to dine here and I wasn’t disappointed at all. “Had a great experience at Moguls in Clevedon. The staff were really friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and comfortable. The restaurant itself was spotless and nicely presented, clean, cozy, and with a lovely atmosphere. Now onto the food, absolutely delicious. I ordered the Bengal Massala, keema rice, and a cheese chilli naan bread, and every dish was spot on. The Bengal Massala was packed with flavour, rich, slightly spicy with just the right balance of sweetness and heat. You could taste the depth of the spices, and the meat was tender and cooked to perfection. The keema rice was a great accompaniment, full of savoury minced lamb that added extra flavour to each bite without overpowering the main dish. But the real standout for me was the cheese chilli naan bread. Soft, fluffy, and loaded with gooey cheese and just the right kick of chilli heat. It had such a kick that I ended up ordering a second naan just to keep up – it was spicy but so addictive. All in all, a fantastic meal and great service. Definitely recommend Moguls if you’re in the Clevedon area and craving a quality curry night”

“Always perfect service from the staff on the kiosk! Me and my other half have been buying from them for years, better tasting and better presented than every other sushi kiosk in other supermarkets! The staff member named Rosie has always greeted us and has a little chat while she works always makes our days better aswell as making us the sushi that isn’t on display that day so we always leave happy! The forgotten ends is perfect for lower budget purchases aswell as giving you a bit of everything, even better that it supports a charity with its purchase too! We will continue to purchase from them and always look forward to our next visit!”

“We shamelessly come here at least once a week and really like it. My 2 year old is happy to play without me in the soft play and the people who run it are always very friendly and professional - they have even offered my little girl a sticker when she was kicking off about wanting a yoghurt to help distract her (2 year olds are brutal!). The toilets are clean and the changing facilities are very good. The food is good - they have a small kitchen but actually do really well considering the space they have and they have a decent, varied menu. Would currently highly recommend the breakfast wrap and it’s great value at just £4.50. I am incredibly grateful that this place exists as I don’t know what we would do if it wasn’t here, it’s become a regular staple in our routine and I hope my daughter continues to enjoy it so I can keep enjoying my coffees while they’re hot!”

“Great food..we all enjoyed and appreciated that. Unfortunately they had an influx of 15 orders just prior to 7pm and couldn't cope with supplying on time the 7oclock deliveries.The two young ladies in front of shop were left somewhat exposed given some customer anger at delay...but we all got there on the end. They gave a couple of us a bottle of wine for the 30min delay ..and we really enjoyed the four different dishes of food..JG”
