“Fayes is always lovely for food and friendliness, but the festive afternoon tea is something else. Especially with a hot glass of spicy sweet mulled wine. Everything was delicious and I felt very spoilt. I would highly recommend.”

“Very quaint with lots of 'quirky' things to look at ... hanging from the walls and ceiling. Lovely choice of sandwiches and hot/cold drinks ... The milkshakes looked rather splendid ! There were plenty of staff who were helpful ... We didn't have to wait too long to be seated, and our request to be moved to the outdoor seating area was quickly fulfilled. The order arrived pretty quickly, and the sandwiches were full and well presented. There was no pressure on us to vacate our table and the atmosphere was relaxing. Possibly a little bit pricey if you want a quick bite with a cuppa, but you can't fault the presentation and quality if you feel like a treat. We will definitely be returning.”

“Jaw to the floor fantastic. First time here after a fancy meal out and so glad we spent less than a tenner on a waffle rather than having a dessert at our original place. We shared a kinder bueno waffle between two of us and it came with a whole chocolate bar, kinder sauce, ice cream, as well as soft serve and chocolate flakes. 10/10 would recommend. Really shocked by the other reviews, this will become a new favourite for me ”

“Great post office. They offer Evri, Amazon logistics and of course Royal Mail services. Opening hours are very convenient. In addition the shop has lots on offer; I frequently use the refillable milk bottle service to reduce plastic waste. Highly recommended!”

“Lovely Italian coffee place ! We really like and enjoy our coffee ☕, a real Italian coffee ! And a superb fresh juice! The food arrive so quickly! I think I never got it so fast so really appreciated. The staff is friendly and smiley, really like our venue. The Menu is large and lot of sweetest cakes are available for a good price. You can also have a cake and a coffee for less than 5£ so perfect deal if you craving some sweet with your coffee. English breakfast was as expected, a large bowl of granola and the salmon and scrambled eggs on the sourdough bread was really generous ! (I think the salmon was not the freshest but at least I got quantity of it and that's something missing usually as you have only one small piece of it ..) It starts to be busy by 11am. Really recommended for the quick service and the amazing coffee ☕”

“Celebrating 55 years this October and still run by the family. I have been going here since it first opened, I was a teenager then, and I'd still one of my favourite Bristol shops. Now even more favoured by the charming time spent talking to the husband and wife staff in the forces surplus section. My Vietnamese friend and his son enjoyed it too and when my friend said that he had fought the Americans during the Vietnam war as part of the Viet Kong I thought we might never stop them talking but time was against us and now there is camouflage clothing bought and one day soon it will be taken to China. A present for my friend's brother. Keep up the good work guys. This shop is so special. If you are reading this review and you have never been then do go. It's not simply military. It is all things outdoors on different floors.”

“Broke down on the M4 and needed to find a local garage to be towed to for diagnostic. This garage, not one I’ve used before were extremely helpful and able to review my car the same day and advise the work required. They also stored kept hold of the car overnight until the dealership could collect and repair under warranty and still would not charge me for their time and effort. Extremely helpful during a stressful time, will certainly go there for vehicle work in future.”

“Visited Coopers Home Appliances in search of an oven/microwave combi and induction hob. Was greeted by Gary who took the time to explain the options to us and answered any questions we had. Gary was not at all pushy and wanted to ensure we had the information we needed to make an informed decision. We decided to go ahead with Gary’s advice and purchased Smeg appliances, both at very competitive prices. Gary recommended a local electrician who, along with the delivery guys, were extremely polite and helpful. Thanks for all your help Gary, we wouldn’t go anywhere else now and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending people to Coopers.”

“I have been coming to Liyas since it opened and it is the best place to eat in Bristol. The food is always fresh and delicious. The chicken salad is my favourite and a great choice if you're looking for a satisfying takeaway also! The owner and staff are really friendly and the resturant has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. “Myself and my partner have used My Garage a number of times now and always recieve an excellent service. We started using them after we were being over charged for "repairs" we didn't need by dealerships, especially in regards to services and MOT's. We find the guys at My Garage honest, polite and really friendly. As a female driver, I've experienced a lot of guys from other garages/ dealerships talking down to me or trying to pull the wool over my eyes regarding "hidden costs" but I've never experienced this at My Garage. I find them trustworthy, professional and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.”

“Great selection of local beers and ciders. Quality wines. The good quality beverages here make v good gifts. Sell their own beers too, with seasonal varieties. As an aside, the shop is also a parcel collection point (DPD etc) and being an off license it is conveniently open in the evening.”
