βLoving the new Galleries cafe revamp in Freshford! Amazing that its now open longer hours and at weekends. Perfect tea stop after a country walk! We had great service from our lovely waitress Lucy, a scrummy selection of salads, quiches, sandwiches and delicious cakes, and great coffee too, all in the most beautiful location. Idyllic!β

βWe were warmly greeted when we entered this super country pub/hotel - it looked so inviting as we passed a couple of times - especially at night as every effort has been made to get in the Christmas spirit! Chad showed us to our table and took our drink orders - I had a delicious 'Butty Bach' and my wife, an Amstel. We ordered Fish and Chips and a Baked Camembert. Having had Fish and Chips at a local 2 Rosette restaurant two nights previously that was really disappointing, we were keen to love our fish and chips again. It was outstanding! Fully of flavour and perfectly cooked. Care was taken to present the baked camembert with a festiv touch and was equally outstanding. We left very happy. Thanks to Chad for looking after us - in fact, the whole team were very welcoming!β

βThis is one special place with very very good coffee and the decaf is so rich enough to make you ask if theyβve got your order right. Itβs cosy and quite small but packs quite a few people in and Iβve heard when its really busy people have to stand on each others shoulders to make room and pass the coffee up and down which sounds like fun β¦ Of course that wouldnβt be necessary if it were bigger but then it wouldnβt be as cosy would it nowβ¦ The staff, lovely people and occasionally thereβs a stand up comedian whoβs doing an internship there. Sausage rolls will be warmed on request and theyβre so big youβll have to take an end each to lift one on to your plate .. Love the placeβ¦ when I grow up I want to work thereβ

βGuys looked after my DS and have now entrusted them with the new Evoque replacement. At end of year 1 the car needed 20k service. Team looked after me but more importantly did cracking job on servicing the barge saved me a few quip on dealership prices and I had nice full English breakfast in local pub working while they completed the service. My day job I oversee 300 vehicle fleet, 2 MOT stations and an ATF lane, I know Standards and these guys deliver it in skip loads.β

βI went to this store for the first time recently. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It's so nice to have some banter and it makes me want to go back there in future. It's a bit like Argos where you chose out of the catalogue the product you want, write the number down. Hand over the paper and pay for the item and wait for it to be picked. Suggestion: Check the catalogue to see if it says "next day". This means you can pay for it but they will order it for you to collect the next day. They may not have all the items in stock on that day but this is covered by the catalogue. Love going there, now I know it's there I'll definitely be a returning customer. Quicker than getting to B & Q for me.β
