“This is one special place with very very good coffee and the decaf is so rich enough to make you ask if they’ve got your order right. It’s cosy and quite small but packs quite a few people in and I’ve heard when its really busy people have to stand on each others shoulders to make room and pass the coffee up and down which sounds like fun … Of course that wouldn’t be necessary if it were bigger but then it wouldn’t be as cosy would it now… The staff, lovely people and occasionally there’s a stand up comedian who’s doing an internship there. Sausage rolls will be warmed on request and they’re so big you’ll have to take an end each to lift one on to your plate .. Love the place… when I grow up I want to work there”

“I've had a lot of breakfasts out and this is definitely one of the best. Their homemade harrisa baked beans and hash browns are excellent, as is their homemade brown sauce. Service is quick and friendly Delicious coffee too. I hesitate to make this public because the locals want to keep it to themselves but they deserve a great review.”

“Such a relaxed atmosphere in this well stocked shop. Friendly customers and friendly, helpful expert staff always willing to offer advice, assistance and knowledge. I'd been struggling to find a way to mount my phone to my sports bike. No room on clip-on bars. Fork stem with a solid, not hollow, nut. Asked staff to look at my bike for a solution. 5 minutes later I left shop with clutch/brake fitting attachments to mount my phone. Sorted. As easy as that. (Thank you Sportsbikeshop). Honestly, you won't find better service, products, and lots of exciting stuff to browse than in this shop. This is my favourite shop.”

“REALLY polite service. Me and my friend ate here for breakfast- we bought fluffy pancakes (one plate each), an ice latte and a Diet Coke. The drinks were perfect with a decent amount and we each got 2 pancakes on our plate- there is a variety of options for toppings on the pancakes- I got berry compote and my friend got the Cadbury's chocolate spread and banana- Each had a large amount of topping and it was warm and freshly cooked. Would definitely come back again!”

“My little girl is old enough to help me now, but I’ll never fail to be impressed with how the JL cafe staff take care of new mums with babes who need assistance, the elderly etc. Watching the staff today reminded me of the same great service I received five years ago ❤️ Love the My JL rewards card for the occasional free hot drink and am rather fond of this blackberry and mascarpone cake. It’s an easy choice to visit when at Cribbs.”
