“Wow, where to start, staying over for two nights in Bristol and looking for somewhere good to eat and drink, on recommendation decided to pay a visit to The Sidings, and was not disappointed, friendly welcome from all, great atmosphere, great music, Exelent food and drink, all reasonably priced and all the food was very fresh, with great presentation and all home made and it certainly shows! So much so i decided to return for a second visit, also met the Chef Aaron as he conscientiously comes out to your table to make sure that everything is to your liking and has a passion for what he dose which is a pleasant surprise and something you don't always see nowadays, will definitely call again and gladly recommend, please keep up the great work.”

“We’ve eaten here in the evening and at lunch for the bento boxes. Both times were lovely - the restaurant is spotless, the staff are lovely, and a lovely, calm atmosphere. The food is absolutely beautiful, but I could happily eat an entire vat of the Japanese pickled vegetables. The drinks also looked lovely, both times we were unable to have anything alcoholic but the apricot sour and pear drink were divine. Would absolutely recommend”

“Best Chinese in Bath by FAR. I would DIE for this restaurant. I can’t overstate that this restaurant has had a substantial impact on my life. I can only imagine the bad reviews for this restaurant are made by rival competing Chinese restaurants who are JEALOUS. If Hong Kong chef has 1 fan, then it’s me. “Went here for the first time today. Excellent food, amazing customer service - we were served by a person called Sali and he was lovely! The quantity was huge. I think one mix kebab would be enough to feed 2 people!”

“We ordered from here for delivery via their own app and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered 2 pizza meal deals and got the Meat feast, farm house, ham and pineapple and Texas bbq. They were great with a good crust. We also ordered chips and chicken nuggets. The chips were super crisp and nice but nuggets were average. We really enjoyed it and we got a free bottle of Pepsi. Plus is was 30 mins from ordering to the delivery guy knocking on our door, super quick.”

He made the wait enjoyable with his friendly banter and upbeat attitude. It's always a plus when the staff are personable and seem to genuinely enjoy what they're doing. As for the takeaway itself, it’s also halal, which is fantastic for those looking for halal options in the area. The place does look a little rundown from the outside, which might put some people off at first glance. But don't let that fool you. Inside, it was cleaner than I expected. Honestly, it probably deserves more than the 3 out of 5 hygiene rating it has—I’d comfortably give it a 4. Overall, Favourite Grill is a bit of a hidden gem. Great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. If you're in the mood for a tasty, no-fuss meal, give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Got this kebab after 9 pints - had an out of body experience such a good sauce to meat/bread ratio legit felt like i was being raptured. I saw god after i ate this chicken wrap and watched some excellent tele whilst i wolfed it down at a pace usain bolt would be impressed by. In fact, i liked this kebab so much i am going to get one tonight. I remember when i got this i only had 9 pounds left to my name, i spent 7.50 on this kebab. Thank you xx”

“I am not sure why some reviews are so harsh. My girlfriend and I love the food from here and order it regularly. The honey chili crispy beef is delicious, as is the chow mein and many other dishes. The price is reasonable and the people are friendly.”
