“I recently grabbed a bite at Favourite Grill, and I have to say, it was a pretty solid experience overall. Let's start with the chicken burger. It was genuinely delicious, especially with that garlic mayo. The mayo added a nice, tangy kick that paired perfectly with the well-seasoned, tender chicken patty. It’s not often you find a place that nails the balance of flavors like this. Then there's the cheeseburger. Wow. It was super juicy, and the combination of burger sauce and garlic mayo was spot on. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the patties were cooked just right. Juicy but not greasy, which is a tricky balance to achieve. And the chips? Perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just the way I like them. The atmosphere was another highlight. The bossman behind the counter was a great laugh to chat with. He made the wait enjoyable with his friendly banter and upbeat attitude. It's always a plus when the staff are personable and seem to genuinely enjoy what they're doing. As for the takeaway itself, it’s also halal, which is fantastic for those looking for halal options in the area. The place does look a little rundown from the outside, which might put some people off at first glance. But don't let that fool you. Inside, it was cleaner than I expected. Honestly, it probably deserves more than the 3 out of 5 hygiene rating it has—I’d comfortably give it a 4. Overall, Favourite Grill is a bit of a hidden gem. Great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. If you're in the mood for a tasty, no-fuss meal, give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Got this kebab after 9 pints - had an out of body experience such a good sauce to meat/bread ratio legit felt like i was being raptured. I saw god after i ate this chicken wrap and watched some excellent tele whilst i wolfed it down at a pace usain bolt would be impressed by. In fact, i liked this kebab so much i am going to get one tonight. I remember when i got this i only had 9 pounds left to my name, i spent 7.50 on this kebab. Thank you xx”

“A bit confused why this place isn’t busier. Yes, it takes a bit longer for food to get served, but there’s only one lovely gentleman working the entire restaurant, and the food was totally worth the wait. I ordered the lasagne set for £7.95 (served with garlic bread and salad), which is a good deal imo. Judging from how piping hot the lasagne was, it’s freshly baked, which I appreciate. It had well balanced flavours and a lovely creamy texture. If I lived in the area, this certainly would be my go-to affordable comfort food. My partner got the Chicken Feast pizza which was just as good. Can’t recommend this place enough. Bonus points for its overall cleanliness and comfortable spacious seating. Would definitely visit again next time I’m in town!”
