They can be busy, but I never felt that they were rushing to accept more customers in or felt under pressure to purchase additional products. I had excellent experience with both Paul and George; difficult to choose who to visit as both are equally good. They are always good at giving suggestions, but follow customers' wishes. A drink is always offered and the salon never feels hectic, which sometimes happens in other salons. Just had another haircut by James, a very skilled and friendly hairdresser. I enjoyed every minute of it and had a really interesting chat. Would recommend his services to everyone.”

“My cousin and I stayed here this past week during the Jane Austen Festival and we could not have picked a better spot! We stayed in the building overlooking the square in a second floor room. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and well appointed. Our room did not have AC but thanks to the fall weather, we were very comfortable with the windows open at night. The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. We did not want to leave and will absolutely stay here when we come back to the festival!”
