“Great place for dancing Swing at the VE Day Swing for Victory evening, accompanied by the Thornbury Swing Band. Great night, great food and great music.”
“I attended a free hands-on science exhibition with my 4 and 6 year old at the weekend, and it was brilliant. It kept us all entertained for a few hours on an Autumn afternoon. It was very well organised with 3 rooms full of science stations, each one offering an experiment, craft activity or demonstration, and all the volunteers were great, very knowledgable, enthusiastic and engaging with the children. What a great event- thank you!”
“Went to a superb Immersive performance of Dantes Inferno by the Students of Trowbridge College. It was one of the most enjoyable performances I have ever experienced... Well done to the Arc Theatre and Trowbridge College....”
“Fantastic place and voulenters, just how cinema should be. Even the yoofs were respectful, and turned phones off and were quite. Credit to all.”
“Lovely theatre, very professional show, well organised.”
“This is a great cinema. The booking process was easy. The reclining seats are so comfortable. The screen and sound system is great. There’s plenty of leg room. There is a good selection of food and drinks but it is quite expensive. I love the tango ice blast. I had an enjoyable experience here. I highly recommend this cinema.”
“Great place in a really cool area of Bristol with a lot of murals. Very chill and cozy place to grab a few drinks and have great food. Menu offers a wide range of vegetarian options that are absolutely excellent. Can totally recommend the falalel burger or the huevos rancheros. Staff was really friendly”
“Fabulous creative studio and workshop. Only open to visitors by prior arrangement.”
“Great acts and entertainers Kept all the kids riveted at Keynsham cricket club beer and cider festival and we would highly recommend them for your party or special event. Highly skilled and great fun. Many thanks Tom and we will see you again!”
“Utterly absorbing. Fantastic acting with so few props. The best theatre I've seen in a long time. Thank you.”
“Curtain Up is an incredible theatre school with great tutoring in drama, singing and dance. I have been at Curtain Up for three years and have enjoyed every minute of my time there. All of the staff are welcoming and professional, ensuring the students learn and develop to the best of their abilities. The regular productions performed by Curtain Up have won numerous awards and nominations from Rose Bowl and NODA. The annual summer schools held by Curtain Up are outstanding, exciting and very fun. The summer school show this year was Les Mis and it was the best two weeks of my summer holiday. Highly recommend!”
“Watched my daughter in a show, a really nice theatre with great views”

“Cheryl Stapleton, Artistic Director, Learning Through Theatre, is brilliant. She draws out my confidence in speechmaking: through voice exercises, voice projection and delivery of the message through storytelling. I can thoroughly recommend Cheryl.”
“We booked Chris to do a performance at our wedding and wow he was absolutely incredible, he captivated the attention of all the children and the adults, he created the best smiles, laughter and forever lasting memories of his pirate performance any one could ask for, Thankyou so much you were amazing!!”
“We enjoyed a delightful movie night at the Shrewton Village Hall. There is free parking. It was very well organised, with drinks, ice cream and popcorn at half time. The organisers are raising funds to plant more trees - a cause we were happy to support - and we were warmly welcomed to the local community. We have lost our hearts to Shrewton!”
“Amazing well run venue with great views from every seat. Good job!”
“It has been wonderful to see the rapid development of the If Opera festival in its short tenure at Belcombe Court. The new enclosed performance space, increased orchestra size, and hospitality area have greatly improved the whole festival. The beautiful surroundings of Belcombe and informal nature of the festival make it a perfect place to start for opera newbies. The 2023 production of Fedora was superb.”
“I wanted to say a big thank you for doing Nina's party on Sunday. Not only did you fill in on such short notice, but you did such a great job of entertaining 30 kids with a wide age range (3-8 years old). They were mesmerised by your shows and magic and my kids have been talking about it ever since. All the parents said how much they enjoyed it. Thank you so much, Lucy”
“Convenient meeting hall in Portishead with small amount of parking”
