“A gem. Always astounded by the quality performances here. One to keep an eye on. Brilliant community theatre - what a privilege to have this on our doorsteps”
“Such a lovely little theatre hidden away in a lovely part of the beautiful city of Bath. Intimate, comfortable, friendly volunteers to greet you and serve drinks from the licensed bar. Definitely worth checking what’s on as the shoes are so varied there’s something for everyone!”
“What a wonderful bit of nostalgia. The little theatre is tucked away but smack bang in the centre of Bath. Mondays appear to be the cheaper nights at roughly £9 a ticket. Inside it really is like stepping back in time. The seats are comfy and if you ask for seat recommendations, the staff are lovely, friendly and honest. We had a great time and it reminded us how much we loved the cinema before the big chains came in!”
“I really enjoyed "Small Hotel" featuring Ralph Finneas! I was able to purchase tickets on site about twenty minutes before the performance, and the view from the top level Grand Circle was still great. Thank you!”
“A great little theatre with steeply tiered seating, meaning you get an excellent view.”
“Lovely theatre! Been to see That'll be the Day Christmas show. An excellent performance. Great music, humor & performance!”
“Probably the most underrated place in Clevedon! It's small, but so important and provides a unique venue for artists and people to come together and share an amazing experience. They just need to get better at promoting what's happening!”
“Excellent performance of The History Boys - theatre very comfortable and volunteers very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic special effects, sound and lighting.”
“A characterful manor and stunning gardens in Italianate style and stunning setting. Lunch in the smart indoor/outdoor restaurant was delightful, presented and served most professionally. We did not sample the equally smart café but it looked first-class. All this made for a great visit and birthday lunch, all for a modest entrance fee.”
“Excellent day out at the Bishop's Palace. 14 acres of gardens, plus the chapel, palace itself and ruined abbey. Plenty to do and see and do try to take advantage of an audio tour with informative discussions about all sorts of interesting things found there. You may also be fortunate enough to see the famous swans ringing the bell at the entrance in the hope of being fed! Great day out.”
“I cannot express how much I love visiting shows at the Tobacco Factory, whether for myself or my daughter. The shows are always incredibly well done, wonderfully unique, creative and fun.”
“So lucky to have this amazing place in Clifton. Incredible food, wonderful selection of drinks and most importantly - wonderful people. A sanctuary away from home. I feel like a true local.”
“Beautiful historic bridge with lovely views of the river and weir. Great spot for photos and a peaceful walk and a must-see in Bath! Beautiful city full of history and charm. Stunning architecture, relaxing Roman Baths, and lovely riverside walks. Bath is always a joy to explore!”
“Excellent venue and very approachable, polite staff. We watched the snow mice and it was brilliant. Will go again.”
“Mad as a box of frogs ( and other selected characters)”
“Went to see Totally Tina here. What a lovely little theatre. Fantastic show too”
“This is the nicest littlest cinema I've ever seen The staff are lovely! Drink and food prices were fantastic, it was £22 for two tickets, two pick and mix bags and two drinks. That's very cheap! It made me fall in love with cinema again. Little cinemas like this are brilliant I would absolutely recommend 10/10”
“I visited an excellent production of Sleeping Beauty in this lovely theatre. Both the production and the venue were lovely, with mulled wine available on the bar and comfortable seats with a great view of the stage throughout.”
“Recently held our organisation's AGM in the conference suite. Great facilities and incredibly helpful staff. Special thanks to James who helped us with our AV challenges (our issue - their equipment is awesome). They were courteous and knowledgeable. Cheers”
“LOVEEE, my second time going, although i will say sometimes the topics they choose to display can be quite disappointing and not interesting but i guess everyone’s taste is different”
“Saw Good Bye Mr Haffman. From start to finish a fantastic experience very moving thought provoking and funny to boot. All the actors made this play come alive. Nice theatre sat in the stalls third row and had a good clear view of every thing. Sell out every seat taken great atmosphere.”
“Attended private view here of local artist Eric Gabb and his daughter Alex. Fabulous paintings, & nice small space for displaying art work. Very friendly & attentive bar staff - tables & chairs were a bit close to the walls for easy viewing but overall a lovely venue. Eric and Alex's exhibition runs af Burdall's Yard until 12th May and is well worth a visit.”
“Lovely little theatre I have a seen a great amount of shows in. The visibility is good no matter what seat your in as its almost every row is elevated. Building also has an intresting history to it (was once an old church)”
“Great central location with convenient parking within walking distance. Perfect size venue for watching ABC. We would definitely come here again. They also book a great variety of artists and acts.”
“Really enjoyed Being Mr Wickham. Adrian Lukris created a compelling life story of Mr Wickham. The rogues really do provide the backbone of any story! We loved the hour of stories. He told tales that painted the picture of key points in Mr Wickham's life. Loads of research and wordsmithing were honed to perfection. The Q&A after was also illuminating. Hos fans are very clever, articulate people.”
“I attended a free hands-on science exhibition with my 4 and 6 year old at the weekend, and it was brilliant. It kept us all entertained for a few hours on an Autumn afternoon. It was very well organised with 3 rooms full of science stations, each one offering an experiment, craft activity or demonstration, and all the volunteers were great, very knowledgable, enthusiastic and engaging with the children. What a great event- thank you!”
“Went to a superb Immersive performance of Dantes Inferno by the Students of Trowbridge College. It was one of the most enjoyable performances I have ever experienced... Well done to the Arc Theatre and Trowbridge College....”
“Great cinema in the middle of Trowbridge, clean and very handy having a cinema in our town, use a few times a year, parking can be an issue as of late because the multi story carpark has now closed firing the other car parks to get a bit full, so prepare for that”
“Great place for dancing Swing at the VE Day Swing for Victory evening, accompanied by the Thornbury Swing Band. Great night, great food and great music.”
“Fantastic place and voulenters, just how cinema should be. Even the yoofs were respectful, and turned phones off and were quite. Credit to all.”
