“Loved this lovely snack bar situated on the top of Caerphilly Mountain. From there you can follow a number of trails, taking you on a few Circular routes. We found the cream of the crop when we discovered a World War ii Spitfire that had crashed into Caerphilly Mountain in 1914, there were no surviers, but a memorial has been maintained just off the main trails. We had refreshments at the snack bar and enjoyed. First class service guys.”

“Took my two Shih Tzu's for grooming in The Pet Shop. They had flea and worming treatment done as well because my one dog won't take the tablets. I feel they did a fantastic job with my dogs as they can be quite anxious. One is more anxious than the other. They gave me good advice about my dogs for their anxiety. They were able to tell me that my dog had an infection in her ear so I could treat it properly. The price was reasonable. They look absolutely lovely, so pleased with they way their fur was cut. Would highly recommend them.”

“Mother’s Day lunch. The tables were dressed lovely with flowers, chocolates and a card for Mum I also had a glass of Prosecco. We then ordered the turkey lunch which was hot and served with extra pigs in blankets. “Popped in for a takeaway lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the choice on the menu. A little on the pricey side but all freshly prepared and very high quality. I had a filled focaccia which was delicious and actually could have been shared between two so did my lunch for 2 days. Also tried the blueberry torta which was crumbly and light! Definitely going to be returning & will take some pics next time and eat in. The decor was contemporary with rustic touches, plenty of seating and an outdoor area but didn't see it to comment in. Absolutely worth a visit!”
