βUsed for travel vaccinations and had a great experience. Appointment available despite short timeframe and overcame a fear of needles with patience and kindness. Would definitely recommend for travel vaccinations.β
βCannot stress how incredible the staff have all been during our recent trips. My 9 week old kitten recently became very ill and, as first time pet owners, we were really unsure and scared. The staff have been so kind, helpful and accommodating. At no point have i ever been made to feel stupid or like a bad owner for not knowing things, nor have they been condescending in any way. Theyve always explained things theyre doing and their thinking of what could be wrong. Its been a bit challenging as we havent been able to diagnose what the illness is, but i in no way blame the service for that, unfortunately sometimes it is that way. But thanks to the vets and nurses doing a great job supporting us and out kitten shes improving day by day! I phone the clinic each day to give an update on how our kitten is doing and every time they always seem so delighted to hear how shes progressing. Due to our kitten being so young her insurance isnt active yet, meaning all of this we were paying out of pocket. The staff have been incredible with this too. Theyve made sure everything they do has been within the means of what we can afford whilst still trying to solve the problem, theyve made us aware of all the options we have such as finance plans etc. and even then, i think the prices have been incredible. I was expecting to pay a LOT, and realistically weve spent less than a fraction of what i was told by friends to expect. The prices are great. All in all, id definitely recommend this vet and im so glad we chose this clinic! Bit of a long review but i really feel these staff deserve all the praise they can receive, im aware theyre βjust doing their jobsβ but i really feel like theyve gone above and beyond in regards to making us feel comfortable and supported :)β
βWe brought our rabbits in for neutering this week and I have to commend the practice and our vet Ross and vet nurse Steph for the thorough and kind care provided to our boys. No question felt too much and we felt so supported through not the easiest of times. Thank you all for your warmth, kind energy and honesty for our boys - we are pleased to report they are both doing really well.β
βAlways a calm and caring environment. Jess is extremely efficient and knowledgeable. She takes time to explain treatment options and costs involved clearly. Although busy the whole team takes time to ensure both pet and owner looked after with dignity and respect.β
βIβm a new pet owner with my very first kitten. Weβve been to Vets4Pets a few times these past few months and have only had good experiences. All vets or nurses Iβve seen have always been very patient, caring and always willing to answer any questions. They always take good care of my kitten, offering him treats and being patient with him as heβs quite timid. The treatment he receives has meant vet trips are not a big ordeal or major stress for him. As an anxious owner I truly canβt thank the practice enough for making every visit as calm and stress free as possibleβ
βSuch a lovely group of staff, always so friendly and helpful. I put an appointment request form through in the night about 1am and I got a call as soon as they opened this morning to book an appointment in today:)β
βVery kind and sympathetic to my Labrador, who is not the easiest of patients! The reminders about meds and appointments are very useful too.β
βWe cant thank the team at Valley Vets enough for taking care of our boy and us, at a really difficult time. The team were so caring and compassionate, they treated our dog as their own. Forever grateful for how they acted in his last moments.β
βGreat cattery, our cats are always exceptionally well looked after. One of them didn't want to leave last time! Love the photos posted on Facebook each day so we can see how they're getting on.β
βI have been with Richard and Vale Vets for the last 10 years and I have had nothing but a great service throughout those years. More recently this past December my dog Lexi who is now 13 years old went in for a general check of health, but Richard discovered a mass growing in her stomach. It was not looking good for Lexi as she was an older dog. We didn't know how she was going to react to surgery, we didn't know whether or not she would survive the anesthetic and we did know how much of the mass had integrated into the rest of her body. We made the decision to go ahead with the surgery to give Lexi the best chance of surviving. Richard and his team went above and beyond to care for Lexi and I could never have asked for a greater group of people to care for her. Somehow Richard managed to remove a two kilogram mass from Lexi, Lexi only being 18 kilogram to start with. The surgery was successful and Lexi had come out of the anesthetic. We went in to the surgery to meet with Richard and to see Lexi for the first time, we were given all of the options where it was a 50/50 chance whether or not Lexi would survive the night and we made the decision that we would care for her at home regardless of the outcome, which we had the full support of Richard and his team and again I echo that they were amazing and went above and beyond their job and they there responsibilities. Richard didn't have to do this but he kept in touch with me. He was about to go on holiday with his family, but he kept in touch with me all the way through the night to make sure that Lexi was still going strong. Lexi made it through the night. Lexi was back at the surgery the next day to have a check up, watching her walk back into the building was one of the proudest things I've seen that old dog do. She was greeted with affection from everybody and by this time everybody had heard the story of Lexi and everyone was truly amazed that she had pulled through what was a horrific surgery. We are now three months on and Lexi is doing better than ever. She is running around with our kids, still thinking she is still a puppy. Lexi would not be here if it wasn't for Richard and the team at Barry Vale Vets. We could never thank you all enough.β
