βVery professional and friendly staff we help in any way they can and explained all my options regarding the treatment for my petβ
βGreen pastures vets are amazing. I love that you feel welcome and the staff seem to care about your pet. I would definitely recommend green pastures to anyone with a pet.β
βWould give this vets 10/10 if I could as they saved my dogβs life.. The staff were fantastic. We were half way to our holiday when we ran in sat 9/08/2025.. So a big thank you to them..β
βBeen going to them for 20 plus years, friendly, professional and easy to talk to. Highly recommended by me and Smudge. Xxβ
βFriendly and dedicated staff, who really care for the animalsβ
βVery friendly reception and a lovely vet. A very positive experience and well worth the visitβ
βTook our Westie pup for registration check up. As first time owners in our family (though parents have dogs) we were not sure what to expect. The team were very welcoming and friendly. Our vet Rachel was super knowledgable and thorough, and gave us great advice. Iβm sure weβll have many more good things to say over the coming years.β
βA very welcoming and engaging Veterinary practice. Staff always helpful and accomodating where and when they can. They go over and above alwaysβ
βI've put my cat in my parents' home for now. This vet has helped me and my cat a lot in the past year. My cat was spayed and neutered here.Astor has been very healthy and has only contracted conjunctivitis once and had a very small patch of shedding on his legs. The vet and other staff at this shop have been very friendly and patient, responding to emails promptly and providing me with all the paperwork I need. The vet is always busy. I always wanted the best for Astor. And I feel necessary to give them a favourable review.β
βI love taking my dog here, The staff are friendly, caring towards the animals, They take the time to talk/advise you in person or over the phone. It never feels like your on a time scale here, Highly recommended.β
βI have been using the kennels for many years We like to travel and I feel so happy to know that my precious pooch is being cared for with exceptional attention Heβs an old dog now at 13 but full of energy and is always excited and happy to go there In my opinion itβs a great place to send the special pets in our lives You can enjoy your holiday safe in the knowledge that they are being cared for to the highest standardsβ
βThank you everyone at Vale in Newport. Always care for our Winnie amazingly. Very friendly and no hidden costs. The VIP scheme they have for dogs certainly pays for itself and saves you money.β
βI have only just started using this vets .I took my rabbits in for check ups and a neutor. My poor cat then got unwell and valley vets was my choice of vets after seeing how kind and gentle gordan was with my rabbits .unfortunately diagnosis wasn't good and the rest of my beloved Jessie care was handled with Laura. Last night we gave our Jess her last kiss goodnight .laura and her staff were amazing and compassionate to not just the cat but to us her owners.i would 100% recommend these vets ! .β
βThis was our 1st time of going here with our new puppy. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by really lovely friendly staff, who went out of their way for us, to make us & our puppy feel welcome & at ease. The vet was really nice. She explained everything to us & answered any questions we had. She was so good with our puppy. She put us all at ease practically straight away. We're even now going to be taking our older dog here as well. We would definitely recommend them to anyone & everyone, for all your pet needs. You won't be disappointed. We cannot praise them enough.β
βIβve used this practice before for emergency out of hours treatment and they have always been wonderful. Two years ago they saved my cats life and Iβm forever grateful to them. Two days ago I had to rush my boy back in at night there and sadly he didnβt make it. My partner and I were deeply traumatised but the staff were all brilliant, kind, compassionate and caring. I couldnβt have asked for better people around me during this very difficult time. From the receptionist to the assistant vet nurses and special mention to head vet Jon, thank you sincerely for making one of lifeβs difficult moments easier to bear because of your care and thoughtfulness. Thank you to nurse Liane for taking paw prints and fur of my boy so I can remember him. Please continue your exceptional care and genuine love of animals so other pet parents in similar circumstances also feel so cared for.β
βAbsolutely lovely vets! Treated my puppy like a baby! Excellent service and very kind! Thanksβ
βWe got an emergency appointment on a Saturday after not long moving to the area when other local vets had turned us away. The vet was really good with our dog and the staff were very friendly and helpful.β
βOn arriving at valley vets with our two 2 year old Labradors, both were booked in and see promptly after being spoiled by all staff there. Both Jet (black lab) and Amber (sandy lab) looked like they felt comfortable with the whole visit. The vet and receptionist interacted with both dogs making them feel safe and welcome. Great experience for us too. Dogs left with clean bill of health ready to enjoy life. Thank you Valley Vets.β
βIβve been using St David vets for over 20 years and my pets have always received excellent care from the vets and nurses. The admin staff are excellent too!β
βAll the staff here are so friendly and helpful, weβre always put at ease and feel listened to. The reception staff always seem pleased to see us and are kind and warm with us even when our dogs are behaving less than perfectly. The clinician I have seen has always taken the time to listen to concerns and explain things clearly as well as offer advice.β
βVisited Shepherds to have my 18+ cat euthanized. Was directed to sideroom as I was upset.Cerys, the nurse took details and she deserves 15 out of 10 for her empathy, reassurance and kindness.Lowri the vet was lovely too and administered drug and Milly passed peacefully and I held her and said my goodbyes.β
βWe received excellent service from fabulous staff after an emergency with our Labrador on Christmas morning! We had an appointment within an hour of contact and when we arrived were seen straight away! Our dog is nervous attending the vet but after successful treatment and the care of the staff he was absolutely fine!! A huge thank you to the staff at Vets Now!!!β
βI am so very sad to see this wonderful practice close. Since 2017 they have cared for my dogs in such a professional, kind and caring manner. Marj Edwards in particular has treated some of mine with homeopathy alongside conventional medicine, actually allowing my whippet, Rupert, to enjoy eleven comfortable months following a terminal cancer diagnosis in 2017. My heartfelt thanks goes out to Marj and also to Rhian who was so kind when I had to make the decision to have my greyhound, Wilson, put to sleep only four days after he became ill so suddenly. Of course I hope more than anything to see the practice reopen and will return immediately. However Marj Edwards will be a hard act to follow. Thank you Marj for seven years of outstanding veterinary care. Thank you too from my current two, Guinness and Adrian.β
βBrought our 2 new puppies here for their second vaccinations. All staff we encountered were so lovely, the vet was great with them, and the appointment went without a hitch. Not only is it close to where we live, so that is great, they do a healthcare plan too. 10/10 recommend to everyone. :-)β
βHad a good experience here as we brought our cat here. Pleased that the vet didn't try to fleece us for all our money, even saying that she won't recommend one of their products as it can be found cheaper elsewhere. That's appreciated as vets are known for trying to get every penny.β
βBest vets ever treated both of my dogs there and the staff care about them. Fair pricingβ
βVery helpful, lovely staff. Always polite & friendly. Never have to wait long for an appointment nor when you arrive for an appointment. Really seem to care about the animals & treat them as much a part of the family as we do.β
βIβve been in weekly for the last 8 weeks with my 3 cats with various issues. Iβve stopped going to Valley since their treatment of staff who went on strike & Iβm happy with the care Iβve received from Andrea & her team. Whilst the location & nature of the business (owned by big 6) doesnβt lend itself to the same care/service as an independent, Iβve been very satisfied with the treatment received. The staff have been really patient with my and my anxious communications (I appreciate the WhatsApp service) about my terminally ill little cat. Theyβve spent time helping me determine the right course of action for my girl & Iβve never felt pushed into anything, nor made to feel silly for the questions Iβve asked or choice Iβve made. Both dental treatments my cats had recently came in comfortably under the quote. And the practice is always happy to provide written prescriptions so I can find flea treatment at a price that suits my budget. I do hate the location though - both on the industrial site and the mezzanine above the store. Itβs loud, doesnβt feel very secure and isnβt great when youβre going through something difficult. Iβm dreading when the time comes for me to say goodbye to my girl and how exposed itβll feel upstairs and walking through the store with my tears & grief. But what can be done? Thereβs not a great deal of choices in practices really. And no independent ones locally. So Iβm happy with a Vet-led franchise with an owner who seems to care about her practice & the animals she sees.β
βWeβve been using this veterinary surgery since we first got our dog 8 years ago. The staff are incredibly helpful and caring and always put the animals needs first. My dog has had 2 operations with vets 4 pets Caerphilly, and the surgeons, nurses and reception staff have been incredible on both occasions. I canβt recommend them enough. Thank you for all your hard work vets4pets Caerphilly!β
βThis veterinary practice is brilliant! I have been 100% happy and trust them implicitly to care for my dogs. Today was no exception. I am currently fostering a mixed breed dog, Spotty, from Romanian (Amicili dog rescued). She is naturally a very nervous and anxious little girl. I have had her since 19/11/23 and while she has made a lot of progress, she remains naturally very fearful of unfamiliar people, barking and backing away from them. Spotty needed to be weighed for her flea and worming treatment, and a check over by the vet. I also took my spaniel Nia as company. Spotty didn't hesitate, as I had anticipated, going into the practice and I attribute this to the calm atmosphere of the surgery made by all the staff. I cannot thank the vet Mirac and veterinary nurse Tracey enough for their quiet, caring patience and the time they took to gain Spottys confidence. They were amazing, not just with Spotty but also Nia (whose mission was to snaffle any stray treats!). Mirac was able to examine Spotty. I was overwhelmed as I had anticipated Spottys resistance and the whole experience being stressful for her. I don't know how long Spotty will be with me before she finds her forever home, but if she needs to visit the veterinary practice again, I hope she will remember today's positive experience. Thank you all so very much.β
