“I’ve been coming here for over 5 years now and it never disappoints. It’s halal, family-owned, and the staff — especially Erik — are absolutely brilliant. You always feel so welcomed and looked after. The food is out of this world. The crispy chilli squid and prawn toast starters are a must-try (seriously addictive), and the duck wraps are some of the best I’ve ever had. For mains, you can’t go wrong with the beef in black bean sauce, sweet and sour chicken, and their egg fried rice — all cooked perfectly every single time. It’s rare to find a place that keeps getting better after so many years, but they genuinely do. Can’t recommend it enough — if you’re in Cardiff and want amazing halal Chinese food with a real family vibe, this is the spot!”

“I was returning from the chemist. I was hungry and had been hungering for some lamb cooked over charcoal. I asked their recommendations, and their chef came over and told me the lamb options they had. I ordered Beyti, which was lamb mince mixed with chopped herbs and spices, in a freshly toasted wrap. It was simply amazing. Great depth and range of flavours, and the servings were more than enough. It was a great eating experience, and the chef was right to recommend eating the salad mixed in with the lamb in the wrap; the flavours mingled yet were side by side in each bite. Outside and inside looked inviting, the interior decor was pleasing with a 'night life in a hot country holiday' kind of vibe- gold, black, mirrors, that sort of thing. Seating was comfortable, and the place was clean. Cutlery was shining. The owner and his son were courteous; it was service with smiles. I've recommended the place to my friends and will be coming there again. It wasn't expensive and this place is a culinary excellence.”

“We had such a great experience here. The food was piping hot, fresh, and full of flavour. Definitely worth the almost forty minutes of waiting. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portions. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, and the ambience was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend the king prawn biryani, chicken vindaloo, garlic chilli chicken, mixed grills, and especially the chutney. Everything hit the spot. We came last night as a group of five and I'm happy to say that it's every bit as good as it was, with the same superb standard of food and hospitality as always. To achieve such a consistent level of excellence over such a long period is testament to Mo's dedication and his own personal high standards. He's the heart of the place, but the whole team should be commended for making our visit so enjoyable. There's not much point in mentioning the food, you just need to know that whatever you order, it'll be delicious! I definitely won't be leaving it so long to come back!”

“I booked the Fairwater Pub's function room for my sisters birthday recently and it was amazing. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I started setting up to the very end of the night. The communication between myself and the Landlady and Landlord was smooth and very clear. They offered me tables and let me lay out the room how I felt best. They let us have a DJ there and our own catering. The price for the room was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. I would defiantly go back and I can't thank them enough! Happy smiles all around”

“"Bungee Gum has the properties of both rubber and gum", had been mentioned several times throughout Hunter x Hunter. It is almost uncomfortable if it was not mentioned by a character named Hisoka. This level of comfort is what I expect from Wagamama and they nail it, it's not surprising but you expect it when you get there. Like Bambi's mum dying, "oh wow, there it is, she's dead..." just predictable. Nothing wrong with it, just predictable great service and comfort safe food in my opinion.”

“They really do EPIC pizzas at Caprinos. This one I had is a 12 inch spicy beef, tandoori chicken, mushroom and Jalapeño pizza, with stuffed cheese and herbs crust. Very friendly staff working there. Highly recommend the white chocolate cookies for dessert as well.”

“Lovely Italian restaurant had the £8.95 pizza and beer or soft drink the pizza was delicious and covered in topping and the chef was very friendly .My husband said it was the best pizza he had every eaten for freshness/topping/authentic tasting and believe me when I say he has eaten hundreds of pizzas”

“This is a great Chinese takeaway. For me, it is the best in the Vale of Glamorgan. I have tried many, but for me, you get great service and excellent size portions. Their chips are without doubt the best and again a great size portion. The food is always cooked fresh and we have never had reason to complain about anything there. The only slight issue for some people is that it is cash only, which to me is good business sense”

“My friend and I were looking for somewhere to have lunch. We saw the pizza and soft drink offer and wanted to try it. A nice waitress sat us, another took our order while ensuring we had a good time. The only slightly upsetting thing was the "Romana" option. It cost a bit more for the crispy thin, and it was mostly just soggy in the middle. Otherwise, it was all very tasty. Decided to stay for dessert which was a nice ending.”

“My family and I were looking for a perfect birthday place for me and we came across this Korean barbecue, we never tried Korean food so this was new to us, but this restaurant filled all our expectations and more! This place was beautiful, it was traditional and amazing, the server lady was so nice as well as the other servers, they were so polite and attentive to us and always made sure we were happy with what we got. Food wise it was delicious, the food was large in portions and seasoned beautifully. Everything was set out neatly and conveniently! 100% would recommend eating here, food, service and the building in itself was and is a 10/10!”

The servings were large, excellent quality, delivered hot and we will 100% be ordering again. Don't change a thing Mr Pizzas, you're just what anyone would expect from a good takeaway!
