“Some say C&M has lost its appeal, truthfully we didn’t see one supercar in the 2 hours we were there on Sunday afternoon, so can confirm the rumours. That aside, we had a fantastic drive out and the food was super tasty. Huge thank you to Ed, a star employee, he really impressed us with his professionalism and can do approach. We had issues with the food ordering app, it was no drama for Ed he came out and took our order then delivered the drinks, very polite and a credit to C&M.”

“We had our Christmas party last night, the atmosphere in this place is sensational!!! Highly recommend having your Christmas do here or in fact a special birthday or occasion. The food is amazing and the staff are so attentive. Everyone was up singing and dancing! What a night!”

“Absolutely fantastic service. We were given a warm welcome by our waiter, who went through the specials and asked about our dietary needs. Whilst we went through the menu, we were asked if we would like a drink to order. The manager also came over Lisa and gave us a warm welcome and spoke to my 15 year old and his girlfriend and made them feel welcome. The food was outstanding and the service exceptional. We felt this was great value for money, in a lovely little steakhouse. Great atmosphere and everything very well presented. Highly recommend.”

“We had a surprise birthday meal here recently and honestly can’t rate it high enough! Attention to detail was great, food was extremely high quality and the service was next level. The staff went above and beyond to look after us and make sure my son had an amazing 30th birthday! Highly recommend a visit !”

“I had a brilliant experience at Pesto at the Axe & Compass. The food was absolutely spot on full of flavour, fresh, and really well presented. The service was just as impressive; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit feel welcoming. “The hotel stays in the best place location in Stratford Upon Avon, you can walk from train station just 10 mins and walk to the main sightseeing in 5 mins~ Super nice brownie caramel cake i have eat before! Do not miss! And all staff very nice! Great hotel!”

“Experience was wonderful as soon as we walked in. Josh came straight to us at the door so no waiting around, showed us to the table and made us feel relaxed, he wasn’t too overbearing throughout our time which we really appreciated. A wonderful staff member. Poppy was also tentative to ensuring our table was cleared efficiently and food was delivered promptly with not too great a wait. Lovely! The atmosphere was enhanced by the live jazz music from Suzie Woods. A very enjoyable dining experience.”

“I came here today with family. Car park is very small so parking can be a little difficult. We opted for the roast which was extremely tasty and hot. The food is very reasonably priced. I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert (it was nice but very sweet). Overall, I'd say this is a nice place that deserves a visit!”

“Lovely meal, good selection of pub favourites alongside healthier options. There is outside wrap around seating with views of the canal and river where you can watch the world and boats go by. The only downside to sitting outside were patrons not controlling their dog's and the more inebriated customers bellowing to passers by which is why I've given the lower score for atmosphere.”

“Great place to grab a drink in Rugby, lovely staff, and helped with a special event - cordoned off area of the pub (even on a busy Saturday) and massively helped with the organisation and logistics. Good rotating list of ciders and cask beers (local and further afield) as well as selection of interesting bottled beers, and many other choices. Also do a lot of themed events.”

“Personally this was my favourite hotel for less than £130 a night in Coventry. You get a very nice experience for your money which I can only describe as having a luxury feel. Food was very good and the staff were very pleasant. No issues with the room, all clean and very stylish.”

“Food well for 3 days been taking chicken kebabs and it's really good not so spicy but with the combination of sauces it's just really good. Service I can't say a bad word pretty quick, and no one had any problems with me taking a kebab in a wrap with chips instead of salad so really good service. Atmosphere well it's like a typical chip shop but as I said earlier service makes it really good.”

“I visited the Half Moon for a wedding reception. The food was excellent and offered plenty of choices including vegetarian options. The staff were great and coped well with a very busy pub (as well as the usual Saturday night drinkers there were a lot of thirsty weddings guests). I’d certainly like to go back for a few pints on a regular Saturday.”

“We had a really lovely afternoon at the Leif Tea Rooms. We had afternoon tea which was scrumptious. There was a great choice of fillings for the sandwiches which were amazing, plenty of filling! The scones were a delight and the cakes of lemon drizzle, chocolate fudge and victoria sponge were delicious. Very generous portion of everything, couldn't eat it all. But the wonderful staff supplied boxes to take away. We had prosseco which made it more special and were seated by the christmas tree on comfy sofas and chairs. It made our family catch up a special occasion and we would like to say thank you to all the staff who were so nice. Will definitely return, we had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon! Definitely recommended.”

“Had a lovely impromptu stop over and the location off this hotel was ideal located near the motorway but with easy access to the trains into Birmingham centre via the NEC station. Hotel was great and excellent value. The spa had some maintenance issues but going down early morning meant was had it to ourselves. Would definitely stop here again if going to either the NEC or Birmingham.”

“The Dusk ‘til Dawn Details team recently had the pleasure of styling a wedding at Hogarths Hotel and were so impressed by both the venue and the team. The setting is truly beautiful, from the light-filled Garden Suite, which makes the perfect backdrop for a wedding breakfast, to the breathtaking outdoor ceremony area surrounded by lush greenery. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly for our lovely couple. “We went here for pancake day & after initially being a little worried we loved it. When we walked in it was a little tatty, a window was missing, patches in ceiling, and a few dirty plates left out on empty tables. We were a little worried that we weren’t going to enjoy ourselves. But our server showed us to the table and the rest of the resultant and bar was beautifully decorated. We had really really amazing service from our server, considering she seemed to be the only person serving everyone at the time. We ordered 3 lots of pancakes and a chip butty. All of the food was absolutely amazing. We were stuffed! The plate of chips was huge, and the bread lovely! The pancakes were SO soft and fluffy, and such good value for money! There was so much food! The Cath Kidston glasses and mugs were so cute too! The kids really enjoyed the decor and we all had a good laugh at the private toilet party. On the way out I spotted a sign about refreshing some areas so I guess that explains the slightly tired looking entrance. Honestly we had a lovely time and can’t wait to come back. Probably the best pancakes we’ve ever had and the server was just so friendly, she’s a real credit to the place!”
