Food was served in officiant time and hot on arrival and tasted lovely the Christmas menu has a great range and was cooked lovely. Also great range of food for children. “Excellent service from very helpful staff. Really nice room (a refurbished one) and public areas. The car park couldn't handle a full hotel but that was exacerbated by a few vans taking up more than one space. Don't arrive after 9pm and expecting a space! Handy for the NEC and cheaper than the on site hotels there.”

“I recently stayed at the riverside and it appears to be recently refurbished and modernised. It's been finished to a high standard. The staff were friendly. The food was good. The tv stations in the rooms are endless. The water pressure in the bath will blast it off you. Wifi in the rooms are free and good.”

“What a fantastic place. I had an incredible experience at Tambayan in Kenilworth. The food was absolutely amazing – full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Every dish felt authentic and satisfying. On top of that, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit feel warm and enjoyable. The combination of delicious food and great service makes this a place I’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommended!”

“Went here yesterday 18th dec for some hot drinks before panto at the priory theatre. 5 adults 2 teens and a 6 year old. The man serving us (didn’t catch his name) couldn’t be more accommodating, very friendly and helpful and enthusiastic he took our order, made suggestions on drinks including which size would be best for the little one and then found us a lovely table, the waitress (also didn’t catch her name) young girl was lovely, the vibe felt very welcoming and the hot drinks were really cheap and the hot chocolates had cream and marshmallows which were offered I didn’t have to ask like in most places. Will deffo be back hopefully for food next time”

“A wonderful pub in the shadow of Kenilworth Castle that serves huge plates of excellent pub grub for very reasonable prices. Friendly efficient staff and lovely real ale. Do go there if you're in the area. Probably best to book to ensure a table as it was almost full when we were there.”

“Wow just wow We loved it. So glad they moved up town. We arrived for a Sunday evening dinner out. Greeted with a smile from the amazing staff that will go above n beyond to make yr stay perfect. They have decorated the place so well, such a lovely atmosphere. And then the food. I wanted to try something different to start with and went for the duck. The name of it is on the bill. Omg the presentation and the taste WOW. Absolutely loved it. I will be asking for that as a main next time for sure. The wife had the chicken starter which she said straight away, we are coming back for more lol. The rest of the meal was just as good. Excellent presentation, taste is top notch. We highly recommend The Ark And we will be back to try the steaks next time too.”

“I came in today for a casual Christmas Day drink, and after seeing these reviews I have to write something. The customers were appalling, spitting on staffs faces about how their meals hadn’t arrived. I get I didn’t have a meal however, the staff had given up their Christmas Day to cater for your Christmas Day, they are the most lovely staff I’ve never had a bad experience in The White Horse. I think people need to realise they are eating in a pub, you are not going to get 5 star experience. Even though it is just a local pub The White Horse go above and beyond for their customers and unfortunately the day things went wrong, that couldn’t be controlled, was Christmas Day. Things happen, isn’t the end of the world think before your speak to people badly when they have given up their special day to cater for your special day.”

“Found this restaurant whilst driving past with work, thought that looks ok, checked on the internet and booked for Sunday lunch. Had a lovely 3 course meal and had not 1 thing negative to say about it. When again the following but this time opted for the menu rather than Sunday lunch. Again a lovely meal and nothing negative to say. The staff are friendly and professional, and a shout out to Lilia, only been once before and she remembered us and also remembered that I asked for no peas, that to me shows her quality as I’m sure she had served 100’s of customers over the previous week.”

“Had a chat with will the manager. He is a wonderful guy very friendly and helpful. First time me and my wife have come here and will definitely come back again on our travels. “It's a nice country hotel with a restaurant and bar area. I spent 3 days here which I enjoyed. My room was nice and clean apart from the odd squeaky floorboard. I did go there on a pretty hot week and the room was hot as I had no AC in my room. The breakfast and dinner food were nice and the staff on-site were friendly and helpful too. There's a car park at the rear of the hotel and you need to register your car at reception on a tablet/ipad.”
