“I returned to Rugby from Canada for a funeral a week before Christmas 2022. I had a steak and kidney pie and chips, the next day, fish and chips. Both meals were as good as I remember from my youth. The staff were terrific and funny. The generous fish is consist with the name “Extra Fish Bar.””

“We stayed here for one night, last minute booking whilst visiting University of Warwick, very quick an easy, on arrival a quick and simple check in, asked for another towl, that was no problem. Asked about breakfast booking, all explained well. In the morning we were greeted by Emma, what a very friendly and helpful member of the team, chatted whilst taking order, very quick service working well with her colleagues. Good breakfast selection, and a very friendly farewell on our checkout. This is our second stay here, its perfect when we are nearby, thank you Premier Inn, We know what we are getting at a good price.”

“Been on the hunt for decent chips for ages. Most seem rubbery and a bit weird tasting if they have been sitting for a bit. We heard good things being said about this place and gave it a try. Chips cooked to order, piping hot and tasty. Fish looked good so will be having some next time. Really happy we found you and worth the drive from Dunchurch. Thank-you for making the effort to serve great food.”

“Went to Millsy's for dinner with a group of friends. It was a large booking and the reservation team was very helpful and flexible with changes to the booking. Our table was spacious and very comfortable for everyone. The menu has plenty of options. Tried the liver paté to start which was absolutely delicious. For main went for the pork belly and a side of mozzarella sticks. Everything was made fresh and delicious. The dessert was a bread and butter pudding which was perfect. The portions are quite large. Their cocktails are delicious too! Staff are very friendly and quick, food arrives promptly as well. That night there was live music so that made the whole ambiance very nice. Overall very good experience”

“My 2 sons and I did the bottomless brunch. The food was delicious - some of the best currys we've ever tasted, and the naan breads weren't the usual stodgy mass, but slightly crispy and full of flavour. The bottomless drinks were premium - including draught Guinness, Cobra and Alpacalypse. We enjoyed plenty of these as well as limitless prosecco, and my eldest also had a glass of red wine. The owner is a delightfully friendly lady, who makes a point of visiting each table to have a chat with all of her patrons. It's my third visit - first bottomless brunch - and we'll certainly be back.”

“Me and my friend use this as our starting point for an evening walk around Draycote. Twice before we've had the genetic fish & chips/batter sausage & chips. Both times have been delicious and the staff very friendly. Last night, decided to go for a change and ordered Kofta from the wall menu. I was given a choice of sauces and asked whether I wanted salad. I went with mint yoghurt and decided against the salad. Kofta was truly delicious. Freshly made to order (which we hadn't grasped at the time, so we were wondering why on earth it was taking so long) Will definitely order it again, but, maybe see if we can call ahead to order next time to alleviate the waiting time. The photo isn't the best as it was dark outside but hopefully you can gauge the portion size. HUGE! Just a word of advice, it would be useful to advise customers at the point of ordering that there is a wait on it as it's cooked to order.”

“5 Stars – Outstanding Service and Delicious Food! We had a fantastic evening at Bar + Block in Leamington Spa, made even better by our lovely waitress, Gemma. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive throughout our meal. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made sure we were looked after with a smile the whole time. The food was absolutely amazing – cooked to perfection and full of flavour. We’ll definitely be coming back, and hope Gemma is there to serve us again. Highly recommend!”

“This restaurant was AMAZING! I would highly recommend especially if you or anyone you know suffers with allergies. Myself and sister have severe anaphylaxis and struggle to find places to eat. The staff was caring and carful with our meals, ensured we knew how to navigate the allergy menu, and double checked everything. Ontop of this the food was divine. My sister had the BBQ ribs and loved it so much she ate the sauce with spoon. I had the meat feast pizza and wow was amazing. I recommend!”

“Me and my family go here for all our family occasions. I have never been anywhere better. The food is the best around. Staff are absolutely amazing, there is nothing they wont do for you. They accommodate all ages from 5 to 80. Karaoke rooms are awesome with so many different themes and for different sized rooms for all occasions. Even parties of 50. We will always go here for every event as a family! Thank you all at china red for all you have done for us over the years xxx”

“Visited for a family meal on Sunday. Atmosphere was very pleasant staff was polite and accommodating. Food was served in officiant time and hot on arrival and tasted lovely the Christmas menu has a great range and was cooked lovely. Also great range of food for children. Will definitely return in the future”

“Stayed here for 2 nights and upon check in we got a complimentary upgrade to a pitch view room which was great! The bed in the room wasnt as big as we thought but there was plenty of space in the room! The staff member check us in was great and professional and even gave us complimentary breakfast which was amazing! Only pet peeve was that the AC in the room couldnt be turned off and the room would get cold pretty quickly...other than that great stay!”

“Food quality has deteriorated significantly since our last visit. Head waiter was unprofessional shouting at our waitress in front of guests. I know it's only Marco Pierre White's name over the door because if he was there the Head Waiter would either lose his job or get a very public drubbing. Scotch Egg is still worthwhile but everything else has taken a turn for the worse. Dauphinoise potatoes are very good though even if smothered too much in cheese”

“My husband and I stayed to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The staff were very helpful from the very first time we contacted them via email to arrange the booking with Roxanna. Our evening meal in the restaurant was superb. In fact I would say it was the best meal I have had in many years. I highly recommend the herb crusted lamb and both my husband and I agreed that the sticky toffee pudding was pure heaven. Geeva & Gael were very attentive serving staff and very pleasant. We chose to have a few drinks in the bar and again, Ashley the barman was a delight. Attentive, pleasant and friendly. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we look forward to staying again in future”
