“I met friends for a meal and was very impressed! The food was delicious especially the Classic Lasagne and Grilled Courgette & Goat's Cheese pizzetta. The service was flawless; the team made us feel welcome and checked in without being intrusive. Plus, the whole place had a lovely atmosphere. I'll definitely be back for another visit.”

“The Dog and Doublet is a lovely Old English pub. I stayed in a hotel with my husband which was a few minutes walk from the pub for my honeymoon and we dined at The Dog and Doublet. The lady who served me was lovely, so friendly and kind. The food was very nice too, I had the vegetable tart and my husband had the spicy chicken burger. We would definitely return ❤️”

“The rooms a kind of unique and lovely,but keep in mind if any event will go on you might either not sleep early or you request for a room not directly over the pub. The staff and service was excellent. Food was delicious and if you like beer you can get there plenty.”

“Since we have loved here this place has been through a few incarnations but the food and service we received when we went there this weekend was by far the best and one of the most well accomplished Sunday lunches we have had - everyone finished their massive portions (see pictures) The key lime pie was the only odd thing - the strawberry almost completely covered the lime taste but the pie was good without it. 100% recommend”

“Been lots of times to the cozy club their breakfast and brunch menu is brilliant lots of different things on there. I have tried quite a few. The bubble and squeak was one of my favourites unfortunately I think they have took it off the menu. I’ve tried a new dish recently it was really good came out really fast was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is always good in there even the day. It’s quite quiet but it’s nice relaxing atmosphere”

“Met friends for afternoon tea today. Never been here before. Was very impressed. Sat in a booth. Tea, prosecco, sandwiches, somosa and cakes all served. Good quality. Really enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked for another afternoon tea.”

“Went for Mother’s Day and had a nice lunch. Shame the price inflates so much just because of this day, same food different day. Pie was good, pork belly not crispy and a bit of a let down. Desserts were good, chocolate & salted caramel tart was nice. Service was slow, had to ask for drinks and the bill multiple times. Not really an excuse being Mother’s Day, it’s expected to be busy. Would try again though.”

“Went here yesterday 18th dec for some hot drinks before panto at the priory theatre. 5 adults 2 teens and a 6 year old. The man serving us (didn’t catch his name) couldn’t be more accommodating, very friendly and helpful and enthusiastic he took our order, made suggestions on drinks including which size would be best for the little one and then found us a lovely table, the waitress (also didn’t catch her name) young girl was lovely, the vibe felt very welcoming and the hot drinks were really cheap and the hot chocolates had cream and marshmallows which were offered I didn’t have to ask like in most places. Will deffo be back hopefully for food next time”

“A wonderful pub in the shadow of Kenilworth Castle that serves huge plates of excellent pub grub for very reasonable prices. Friendly efficient staff and lovely real ale. Do go there if you're in the area. Probably best to book to ensure a table as it was almost full when we were there.”

“Wow just wow We loved it. So glad they moved up town. We arrived for a Sunday evening dinner out. Greeted with a smile from the amazing staff that will go above n beyond to make yr stay perfect. They have decorated the place so well, such a lovely atmosphere. And then the food. I wanted to try something different to start with and went for the duck. The name of it is on the bill. Omg the presentation and the taste WOW. Absolutely loved it. I will be asking for that as a main next time for sure. The wife had the chicken starter which she said straight away, we are coming back for more lol. The rest of the meal was just as good. Excellent presentation, taste is top notch. We highly recommend The Ark And we will be back to try the steaks next time too.”

The restaurant offers authentic Indian food with rich flavors and a warm, cozy ambience that everyone loved. They set up a wellorganized buffet for us, which was perfectly timed and managed. A special mention to Prasanna, who coordinated everything with great patience from customizing the menu to offering the best prices. His professionalism and attention to detail made the event smooth and enjoyable. This place is definitely going to be our go to spot for future company events. Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine Indian cuisine and excellent hospitality!”

“We had our wedding reception at the Old Coffee Tavern a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It's a beautiful venue and super relaxed. The wedding day ran very smoothly, with staff coming in bright and early to set-up the decorations. There was enough seating for the 80 guests which was then moved to the side to make way for the DJ and dancefloor. The buffet was reasonably priced and delicious, particularly the lamb curry, southern fried chicken and the jasmine rice. Several guests have contacted us to say how much they enjoyed the food. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the church, high ceiling and comfy bed. It was great to walk a minute up the road to the weekly market in the morning. A really good location. Great cooked breakfast with veggie and vegan options. Pheebs had everything under control which made us feel completely at ease over the full wedding weekend. We'll definitely be coming back for our anniversary!”

“I live locally so a great place to pop over to.. It's an old quaint traditional hotel pub restaurant..it's a Chef and Brewer and always has a great menu with offers..food is freshly made..good portions and lovely friendly staff..in the Summer you can sit outside by the river. Highly recommend”

“Come here most weekends and never get bored. Always a good vibe, Fridays are fun with giveaways of money, shoes, bottles etc- makes it exciting to come. Saturdays they have giveaways as well so deffo worth a visit. Love the new look as well”
