“Lovely accommodation with pleasant amenities. It is secure with card access and with wheelchair access and lift. Nearby car park with ample spaces and walking distance to Warwick Business School, Student Union and Arts Centre. The staff are very nice and professional.”

“3 of us dined lunch time at this lovely pub. A nice warm welcome as soon as we stepped in set the scene for a very enjoyable lunch. A nice chatty atmosphere as the place was busy (always a good sign) but not loud. The food didn't disappoint, my salmon was cooked to perfection and nods of approval from the others said it all. Can't comment on the beer as I, unfortunately, was driving! Thanks to all the staff, thoroughly recommended.”

As someone originally from Adana I can definitely say that Adana kebap was one of the best I’ve ever had outside of Adana :) Plus very welcoming, friendly and warm staff. “This place has such stunningly beautiful food! So tasty and full of flavour. The menu has a real Middle Eastern vibe which I wasn’t expecting from the previous pictures, and it was glorious. We had the lamb flatbread ( big enough for two!) with a side of the Harissa falafel. Good service, nice decor, great coffee, and excellent social distance measures. Felt safe and clean in there. Highly recommended!!”

“We had our wedding reception at the Old Coffee Tavern a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It's a beautiful venue and super relaxed. The wedding day ran very smoothly, with staff coming in bright and early to set-up the decorations. There was enough seating for the 80 guests which was then moved to the side to make way for the DJ and dancefloor. The buffet was reasonably priced and delicious, particularly the lamb curry, southern fried chicken and the jasmine rice. Several guests have contacted us to say how much they enjoyed the food. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the church, high ceiling and comfy bed. It was great to walk a minute up the road to the weekly market in the morning. A really good location. Great cooked breakfast with veggie and vegan options. Pheebs had everything under control which made us feel completely at ease over the full wedding weekend. We'll definitely be coming back for our anniversary!”

“Birthday Lunch at the private dining room. The service was very good. They made sure we always have drinks and that we are happy with our dishes. The food was delicious we all had Sunday roasts. The planning was also very smooth , they were responsive and communicated well.”

“Was welcomed into the Saxon Mill Warwick front of house to have dinner so really glad we found it. The atmosphere was cosy and well designed decor. We received a good service from the team. The food was cooked to a high standard and the lamb was well done as requested. The restaurant was clean and being this was our first time in Coventry for a Special event was grateful that the Saxon Mill team welcomed us in to dine without a booking with the same food choices as the restaurant area. I recommend the Saxon Mill as a lovely place to done with family and friends lots of available free parking. Thank you Saxon Mill team”

“Yesterday, as a family we attended with our 2 Chow Chows for a family reunion. Such a wonderful location, easy access and truly dog friendly. Ema and the whole team were so accommodating, obliging and receptive and the food was superb with extra helpings of the most fluffy overflowing yorshires! Thank you R and C...all of you. “Came here for a roast dinner and it was lovely. The roasties and Yorkshire puds were excellent. There was fast service and lovely staff. Manager was so friendly and waiters were so lovely. Drinks were very good. I can’t stress enough how lovely this pub is and how massive the garden it’s such a sun trap. Best pub I’ve seen in a long time. Definitely would recommend and I will be bringing the family here.”

“We had a lovely lunch..the food exceeded our expectations. I don't eat out much as i am often disappointed in restaurant vegan food but the rainbow lasagne was very good. It took us a while to work out you had to order from the bar.”

“A credit to the village. I live in the village and used to use the Granville a lot years ago. But it changed hands a lot and went down hill badly. Last year Jennie and her team took the pub on and have made it into the village hub. The work and efforts they have put in to make it into the village pub we all needed and love is fantastic. We now visit weekly with the kids and the food is fantastic and atmosphere is amazing. They accommodate for all ages, friends and families. We can now even go down on a Saturday night when we don’t have the kids and there’s always music of all types and we can have a dance and a great time. It’s a gem in the village to have for everyone and brings the whole community together.”

“The rooms were nice, but I didn’t like the mirrors. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they really cared about the guests. Our kids even got coloring books, which was a lovely touch. You can easily reach the retail park on foot. Breakfast Buffet was really good and dinner too.”

“Stopped in on the way through Banbury. We were dubious after seeing several negative reviews on here, but I've got to say we were pleasantly surprised. No the food isn't Michelin star quality, but its a well priced feed up. All the staff were more than pleasant and we were extremely impressed by our waitress Lilly. “I treated my family to breakfast here this morning (4 adults, 3 children). On arrival we were shown to our table, and the requested high chair was already in position. The food was excellent. The cooked breakfast was well presented on our plates, and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. All the buffet food was excellent and replenished as soon as things ran out, or were running low. The three server's were all very busy, but always pleasant and friendly. I'll definitely treat my family to a breakfast here again.”

“Recently stayed here as we had been gifted a two night stay. Can definitely say we were very pleased with everything. The room was clean, comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. Bartender with the ponytail (unfortunately didn’t get his name) was friendly and a great credit to the hotel.”

“Really lovely clean hotel, has it's own car park and is in a good location. Lovely room, staff were really welcoming and they do a nice breakfast too. I had a room with a single bed. The only thing I would mark it down for was that some people might find the shower cubicle a bit small really but it was okay for me.”
