When the food came it was delicious. The service was spot on and we could tell that the staff were slightly stressed with it being so busy, but they delivered and made us very happy. “Great pub located close to the canal, really friendly owner, allowed us to wash our clothes in the washing machine for a fair price. The food was great pub food, came out quickly, well priced. The drinks are priced well also. If you're coming through on a canal boat there is a mooring nearby so you can stop and eat/drink. They also have facilities for people in motorhomes to park up and stay for the night, really accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area.”

The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for a casual bite. I ordered the Classic Chicken Burger, and it was absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The portion size was generous, and it came with perfectly cooked chips and a fresh helping from the salad bar, which is always a great bonus at Harvester. What stood out most was the value for money and the attentive service throughout the meal. Everything felt well looked after, from the food to the cleanliness of the restaurant. If you’re after a hearty, satisfying meal in a comfortable setting, Harvester is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be returning soon!”
