“Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere. Worth paying the price for high quality ingredients. Lamb shank and lamb rump were both delicious. Good beer too.”
“Lovely warm welcome from the new management Mikyla and Tacc. Lovely warm atmosphere created, will definitely be visiting again soon.”
“A wonderful pub in the shadow of Kenilworth Castle that serves huge plates of excellent pub grub for very reasonable prices. Friendly efficient staff and lovely real ale. Do go there if you're in the area. Probably best to book to ensure a table as it was almost full when we were there.”
“Atmosphere is amazing. Staff are really friendly and provide great services. Food tastes amazing. If you want an authentic Nepalese food then I highly recommend this place.”
“Great value breakfast and friendly place. Will be back.”
“The chef is a genius, the food was perfection. The waiting staff are absolutely lovely, we were served by Raphaël and another gent (I’m sorry we didn’t get your name), both provided excellent service. The 6 course tasting menu we did was also amazing value for what we were given. The fish stew was my absolute favourite course, but the harissa carrot soup and chocolate mousse were close runners up. Thanks so much guys, you should all be proud of yourselves.”
“Live the cozy atmosphere! Lovely spot for dinner or a comfortable place for a drink. There are many seating options and everything was lovely. Staff was very nice.”
“Large, characterful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Stopped in for an early breakfast (avocado toast and scrambled eggs with toast) along with a latte and pot of green tea. Nice meal and good service.”
“I've been enjoying lunch here regularly for over 2 years now and they've always impressed! This is a nice little sandwich shop with good service, tasty food, and a nice selection of items as well as a flexible menu. Although it does get busy at times, and especially on Fridays, it shows just how popular it is in the area! Highly recommend giving this a try. A particular highlight for me is the grilled panini with Mexican chicken, mature cheddar and jalapeños!”
“Ordered the sharer for 2 and it was absolutely incredible! So good I ordered it again a week later!! 100% would recommend”
“Went to Millsy's for dinner with a group of friends. It was a large booking and the reservation team was very helpful and flexible with changes to the booking. Our table was spacious and very comfortable for everyone. The menu has plenty of options. Tried the liver paté to start which was absolutely delicious. For main went for the pork belly and a side of mozzarella sticks. Everything was made fresh and delicious. The dessert was a bread and butter pudding which was perfect. The portions are quite large. Their cocktails are delicious too! Staff are very friendly and quick, food arrives promptly as well. That night there was live music so that made the whole ambiance very nice. Overall very good experience”
“Such a welcoming and warm place, I did booked a last minute wedding lunch for 20 people and the staff was lovely trying to offer us the best experience possible. Shout out to Sophia and Malwina for being so nice, accommodating all our needs for the event.”
“Visited Tesco Clifford Bridge Café today 1st time for many months (lockdown etc) and was served by a Tesco colleague named Kassey (think I've spelt it correctly) who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, her general manner was professional and cheerful at the same time, this young lady is a credit to Tesco stores as a company and will recommend anyone to visit this café, thank you Kassey”
“Lovely stay at the Swan’s nest hotel in Stratford upon Avon. Made a booking for dinner at this lovely restaurant because it seemed very busy at Sunday lunch- they are offering a good deal at the restaurant (30% off) at the moment. However, our evening there was quiet and relaxed. Service was friendly and efficient. We had the chorizo which was well cooked and tasty. The prawns were buttery and delicious. My chicken Normandy was good albeit I am pretty sure that it was cabbage and peaches rather than cavolo nero and apple! (no complaints!!). Husband’s salmon Provençale was nice and flaky with a delicious sauce. Camden pale ale to wash it down. We also had a full English breakfast the next morning which could have been better: husband’s danish didn’t seem fresh although my croissant was great. Sausages and baked beans were ho hum. My poached eggs , husband’s scrambled eggs (he likes it rather dry) and the bacon were good. We did go to the Bear pub in the afternoon- nice barman and good place to chill.”
“We’ve had a great evening tonight, made even better by the excellent service we received from James. He has made our evening pleasant, warm, welcoming & funny. He has really made the evening more enjoyable. I even remarked to each other that he may be the best server we’ve ever had, anywhere.”
“Fantastic food at reasonable prices. Staff are really pleasant and friendly. Lovely atmosphere.”
“Can't say enough good things about this place, great food, welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Perfect!”
“Amazing service from Carla and Micheal for breakfast today. Me and the partner enjoyed it so much and are now stuffed! We will be returning soon, thank you again!”
“What a great range of Vegan Food on offer, at a good price and great flavour. The staff were really friendly and it was a delightful way to spend a birthday.”
“Dilpreet was a fabolouse, kind and super friendly guy the service was spectacular, very very good indian food, probably the best one in this area. We enjoyed this time here with my wife and friends, we come from Spain and we don’t have restaurants like this ond in our city, sure we’ll repeat”
“Food quality has deteriorated significantly since our last visit. Head waiter was unprofessional shouting at our waitress in front of guests. I know it's only Marco Pierre White's name over the door because if he was there the Head Waiter would either lose his job or get a very public drubbing. Scotch Egg is still worthwhile but everything else has taken a turn for the worse. Dauphinoise potatoes are very good though even if smothered too much in cheese”
“I frequently go to the Desi Bar and Grill. It is the best restaurant in Mississauga, in my opinion, because of the incredible food. Shubh was our server. She was courteous and obliged.”
“Fabulous food we had the chilli con carne tortilla bowl it was huge full of rice and chilli with a cheese layer topping I added guacamole for 90p extra as I wanted it separate , it came wrapped in foil to keep the heat in , I asked for my cheese separate on the second tortilla bowl , we also had two burritos which were jam packed with lettuce and a chilli beef mix and cheese and sour cream and guacamole which I had separate , flavour was mouth watering , would recommend highly x”
“Being from London, My Coventry family and I had dinner at Cinnamon's At Beechwood. We had a great time there, the food was great and the staff gave us a great and friendly service. I understand, from my Coventry family, that this a newly opened restaurant, with a chef from a popular previous restaurant based in Coventry. Must say the food was excellent and reasonable priced. I highly recommend it. Wish it was in London.”
“I agree with the reviewer who said this place has a charm of its own. I hadn't visited before and just wanted a light lunch. The proprietress rustled up fresh onion soup (I could hear the onion being chopped!). The cheese and croutons adorning the soup were functional rather than fancy, but the soup was excellent and justified the "bistro" claim. Give it a whirl!”
