“As my first hotel experience, my stay at Las Tavola was both enjoyable and comfortable. Upon arriving I was informed that the single room I had booked was unavailable, and so I was given a double room instead at no extra charge. The room was warm, clean and inviting, and I had no trouble sleeping that night. The staff were all very friendly, and quick to offer their service should you need it. On the evening of my stay there was some entertainment on in the bar/restaurant area, consisting of a Lady Gaga tribute act as well as plenty of 80's/90's music throughout the night, which is a welcome change to the usual rubbish that seems to be played at every bar and night club these days. The bar itself was cozy without being cramped, and while I cannot soak for the quality of the restaurant, the drinks were reasonably priced and refreshing. Included in the price of my room was a breakfast, which I unfortunately didn't get the chance to sample due to other arrangements I had already made, however the inviting smell of bacon and sausages that made their way down the corridor left little to the imagination. =) Overall my stay at La Tavola was one that I will definitely remember, and I am certain I will be staying again sometime in the near future. We have been using fernleaf for what surely must be close to 10 years by now, from the takeaway to the sit in restaurant we have ALWAYS had exceptional service and amazing food obviously I have read the 1 star reviews of this place and quite simply I understand This restaurant has been up and running for a veey long time, you have staff changes, culinary changes and quite simply just very very busy nights. I don't claim to know what happens behind closed doors but all I can say is we have never received a bad order from fernleaf and the food has always been top notch! So I will say to any one reading, yes there will be the occasional misshap as with every restaurant but if you want a good Chinese meal you can try here”

“Had the most amazing birthday weekend stay here. Simran is the host with the most. The apartment was immaculate with luxury decor and an amazing terrace view. The terrace bar and restaurant was amazing too. 5 star service and was even gifted a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday. The staff went out of their way to accomodate us.
