“I stayed in room number 5, it was a perfect size, has everything I needed and was very comfy. There was lots of pubs and shops nearby and loads of places to eat. The owner was lovelly and very helpful, not that I needed much help but she was easy to contact and my stay for 3 nights was very nice. Highly recommended”

Not normally one for change but making the decision to choose this place tonight was the best decision to make. Will definatly be using Chopsticks as our new favourite take away. “We stayed on the campsite in early January, in our campervan. This is one of the rare sites that are open all year and have a toilet block with shower. The site is easy to find, secure with key pad controlled high gates and surrounded by gardens and fields. Pitches are large, hard standing and level. Even after torrential rain, these were fine (although grass understandably boggy). Electric hook up and water taps between pitches. Toilet block is in the end of a barn building. All tiled, clean, windows a little shabby but ok. Unisex, 2 toilet cubicles and 2 large cubicles with wash basins and shaver points. One electric shower in cubicle with shower curtain too - the usual set up at campsites. The block is unheated but there is a blow heater on the wall that you can activate. Soap, air-hand dryer, toilet paper all provided. There is only a charge for the electrically heater hot water -50p shower, 20p basin hot water. We thought it would be too cold to shower in comfort in January but it was fine. Plenty of time to shower, nice and hot. Be aware though, no suitable washing up facility (outside sink cold only). The road nearby is busy so expect road noise (and sheep bleating, bird song too). Didn't seem to be a campervan discharge point, so expect to use the old bowl and bucket if you want to empty grey water. There is a chemical loo emptying place and the usual waste area. Reason for 5 stars...excellent value!(And a nice owner.)”

“We stayed one night . walked into reception greeted by a welcoming and polite gentleman . He went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed by our stay . staff from start to finish were all there to assist you with anything we needed . Upon arriving in our room it was very Clean and neat . The toilet , showroom were exceptionally clean with great toiletries included. The bed was very clean and comfy and had a great night sleep.The breakfast was nice but needed some attention with more staff and more organisation but highly satisfied with the quality of food and amount of options . High recommended to members of the public or business trips ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks , Brook and Millie”

“It's a nice country hotel with a restaurant and bar area. I spent 3 days here which I enjoyed. My room was nice and clean apart from the odd squeaky floorboard. I did go there on a pretty hot week and the room was hot as I had no AC in my room. The breakfast and dinner food were nice and the staff on-site were friendly and helpful too. There's a car park at the rear of the hotel and you need to register your car at reception on a tablet/ipad.”

“The last few meals we have had from this restaurant have been AMAZING! I’m not sure if the chef has changed, but the food has become so much better than it used to be. Most beautifully flavoured curry, the beef in the chow mien was perfect and the salt and pepper chips are by far the best I’ve ever had. We are officially converted from our other go to local Chinese. Highly recommend.”

“Couldn't fault it for the price we paid. Newly refurbished room. Old building with a list of famous restaurants ie. Norman Wisdom and Douglas Fairbanks. Grand Central staircase with large stain glass window.”

“Stunning. The staff is absolutely incredible, friendly and gives you a very warm welcome. A very nice comfy clean room which has everything that you need. The bathroom is actually, and hard to believe in the UK, very clean and mold free which is really appreciated. The location is just a few minutes from the station, city center and the Castle. Can't be happier. Very quiet rooms and location”

“Hadn't been here for years, popped in for a drink on a Friday night. Really good atmosphere, the DJ played some cracking tunes. It got really busy, great night out.”

“I treated my family to breakfast here this morning (4 adults, 3 children). On arrival we were shown to our table, and the requested high chair was already in position. The food was excellent. The cooked breakfast was well presented on our plates, and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. All the buffet food was excellent and replenished as soon as things ran out, or were running low. The three server's were all very busy, but always pleasant and friendly. I'll definitely treat my family to a breakfast here again.”

“Stopped in on the way through Banbury. We were dubious after seeing several negative reviews on here, but I've got to say we were pleasantly surprised. No the food isn't Michelin star quality, but its a well priced feed up. All the staff were more than pleasant and we were extremely impressed by our waitress Lilly. She was extremely polite, not only to us but to the other customers around us. Thank you. We will be returning”

“5 Stars – A Seamless Stay at George St Townhouse I had a wonderful experience staying at the George St Townhouse by Leamington Apartments. From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described—clean, modern, and thoughtfully prepared for a short or extended stay. The location on George Street is absolutely ideal—quiet yet centrally situated, with easy access to restaurants, local shops, and public transport. It’s perfect for both business travelers and holidaymakers. The townhouse itself is well-equipped with all the essentials: a comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, ample workspace, a fully fitted kitchen, and a spotless bathroom. Every detail was taken care of, making it feel like a true home away from home. Communication with the hosts, including Jason Wan, was prompt and professional. Check-in was smooth, and any questions I had were answered quickly and helpfully. The property offers a great balance of privacy, comfort, and convenience, much like a high-end Airbnb experience but with added professionalism and consistency. “I had a very warm welcome from Leticia at Cafe Aroma, Westwood Campus, Warwick University on Friday 22nd April 2022 and enjoyed my lunch break. Sadly Beth wasn't there on that day but I thank Beth very much for the two bags of Aroma goodies that Leticia handed to me. I also thank Leticia for taking several photos of me inside Cafe Aroma. I also met Aggie and Simon Thomas who I thank, they kindly gave me a very interesting guided tour of the two Caffe Nero's at Warwick University. Simon also took a photo of me outside Cafe Aroma and another inside Caffe Nero, Sports Hub. He also kindly drove me back to Coventry to enable me to continue my Alan's Nero Tour weekend of the West Midlands.”

“Great hotel for Travellers. I had a lovely large bedroom with 2 king-size beds, on my stay but I did upgrade on booking invite. Evening meal was limited in choice but good portions of food.”

“Stayed here overnight on a long journey. Everything fine. Very happy with the accomodation, hence a very satisfied 5 stars. However... Tripped over a couple of gotchas, though not the fault of the owner (lovely chap). 1, The room must be paid for in cash on arrival – my fault, I missed the message from Booking.com. 2, No breakfast! This is Google's fault: the description in G-Maps clearly (& incorrectly) categorises this guest house as a B&B (it isn't), *AND* it says that breakfast is available. It isn't. The owner hasn't served breakfast in over 2 years. The details in Booking.com are correct and I should've spotted this discrepancy. C'mon Google, get this entry updated. Why is it taking you over 2 years?”

“Beautiful place to stay lots to explore. Took my mum for a weekend away, she loved it, the room was comfortable and lovely. Staff were friendly and attentive, I enjoyed every conversation I had with any staff. We also used the hot tub areas which are wonderful and relaxing. Best breakfast I've ever had at any hotel, really delicious”
