“Beautiful new hand-made to order Farma Chair We visited Whartons of Leamington Spa looking for some new items of furniture a couple of months ago and spent quite a while looking through all the furniture on display over the 3 or 4 floors. Whartons offers quite a wide choice of distinctly different furniture which is not typical of High Street stores. We saw a beautiful contemporary rocking chair and footstool with designer fabric, just gorgeous! – fell in love with it immediately, ordered it and waited a couple of months for it to be manufactured in Spain. The chair was delivered yesterday and it is simply stunning! It is comfortable, very stylish and a fabulous addition to our conservatory. Worth every penny! We have never seen anything quite like it anywhere and we are so fortunate to have dropped in to Whartons on that day. The store specialises in and stocks very high-quality furniture and offers one of the most pleasant shopping experiences I can remember.”

“Love the guys here they are so accommodating when you want your nails doing. Obviously you can't expect to get in an hour after you've called for an appointment. Nice people to talk to & nothing us too much bother & they come up with suggestions for you sometimes if your not sure what you want. Always ask if you want a drink & genuinely nice people. Prices have gone up recently but they are still reasonable & they do a good job. What I would say is that whatever you have done they won't last for months on end especially if you doing lots of things with your hands, work etc so don't be negative if they don't look good after 2 weeks. Personally I have managed to make them last 4 weeks on a gel polish because in the first couple of weeks I wasn't working & doing chores etc.”

We had a person with an allergy with us and the staff were very thorough and made us all feel at ease. Allergy menu available on line and easy to see. Food arrived and it didn't disappoint at all. Great portion with a bit of everything on it and it was amazing. Thank you to Liliana for being an enthusiastic, helpful, chatty ray of sunshine and making it all the more special. “I used to be a regular at the Clarendon a couple of years ago and it was always a decent place for a good pint and interesting food. It was the sort if place that attracted a completely mixed crowd: students, business workers, hipsters, builders and parents. I knew that it had changed hands and was a bit apprehensive. Even more so when I heard it's now owned by the same people who own Yates Wine Lodge and Slug & Lettuce. Don't worry. It's good. They've redecorate, but not removed all the fantastic musician drawings. They've added their own character to the place, but not erased what made it a great place. I've only been at lunchtime, and it wasn't busy, but it still had a good feel. The barman (or manager) I chatted to was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. Great range of keg, cask & bottled beer. Interesting food menu. Not too bright. Vintage consoles available. Sport on tv in a separate area and dogs are welcome. If you are offered an upgrade to "angry chips", say yes. Don't ask, just say yes. A wholehearted recommendation. Glad they didn't ruin the place. Now if they could just do something about Yates in Nottingham...”
