“I’ve now visited the Livingston Window to the Womb 3 times this pregnancy and have been so happy with the service here. I’ve always felt incredibly comfortable and well informed by the staff. Janet has done our scan at 7 weeks, 10 weeks and now a gender scan at 16 weeks. As someone who was quite anxious she made me feel at ease straight away and made all 3 experiences enjoyable and reassuring. I’d recommend to everyone I know. The photo quality and videos have all been amazing too and great keepsakes for memories. Thanks again to everyone at the team. I will be back for a 4D scan later in the pregnancy!”

“I self referred for an upper abdominal scan for reassurance, having had some right sided discomfort. My GP referred me to my local hospital for a scan in June and unfortunately, due to the NHS pressures, i'm still on the waiting list. I chose the Edinburgh clinic at a time and date to suit me. Carol was the radiographer and from the start of the appointment, I felt that i was in safe hands. She was very reassuring and talked me through the whole process. The whole experience was excellent and a very professional service. I would recommend Ultrasound Direct if you are feeling anxious about your health.”

“Yesterday, I had the opportunity to undergo surgery at the Royal Infirmary Hospital in Edinburgh. The service, medical staff, and doctors in the Day Surgery Unit were absolutely top-notch. After the surgery, I stayed in the post-operative ward, where the staff were also incredibly kind, courteous, and professional. I'd like to say a big thank you to Tracy, who was incredibly kind and funny. Overall, the patient care was top-notch. My warmest regards to all of you, and thank you for turning a stressful day into an unforgettable, wonderful experience. It's a pity that I can only give you 5 stars because you deserve much more.”

“Got referred for various tests due to ongoing ill health due to Medical malpractice/negligence at the hands of NHS Forth Valley Mental health dept, seen Respiratory surgeon, ENT surgeon, Neurologist & a Neurosurgeon - tests such as Nasal Endoscopy, EMG & Nerve conduction tests. The Neuroseurgeon also referred me for a brain, neck & shoulders MRI scan at the other Spire hospital in Edinburgh Murrayfield, fast, not long waiting times, good communications etc. The NHS is totally destroyed in Scotland & is not fit for purpose.”

“We were recently on holiday in the beautiful North Berwick when our dog became unwell. We couldn’t quite put our fingers on it as usually we know when he’s having his usual skin and ear issues. All we knew was that he wasnt himself and was in pain. His tail was down, he wanted to be alone, and he yelped if we stroked his back. Being away from home we were worried as not near our usual vet and didn’t know how it would all work. We were seen the same day (midday). The vet conducted a thorough examination as it wasnt an easy one to diagnose. They had his records from our vet too. In the end it was decided he must have a trapped nerve or something (apparently common for his breed and incredibly painful. He’s 8 so we have done well to avoid it until now!). So we were given pain relief for him and advised that if after a week he wasnt better then to come again/go to our vet. Sadly he had to be on bed rest and missed quite a bit of the holiday fun, but a few days on and it’s like nothing had ever happened! Im so thankful to the links veterinary group and implore others to use their services. Thank you so much for getting us our happy guy back!”

“I’ve had four recent visits to Carmondean Medical Group and telephone appointment to discuss my results and each time the care has been outstanding. The first time, I called around 8:15 a.m. with some symptoms I’d had for a day or two. I expected to see a DN, but the receptionist advised I’d need to see a doctor instead. I was given a same-day appointment for 10:30 a.m. with Dr. Newell, who was amazing—so kind and thorough. I got my prescription, and everything was handled efficiently. A few days later, the pain was still there. I called again, got seen quickly, and my prescription was changed. During my follow-up, I was supported every step of the way. Unfortunately, I later had an allergic reaction and was struggling to breathe. I called around 5 p.m. and got a quick call back from a doctor, who asked me to come in for a 5:30 appointment. This time I saw Dr. Gray, who was also lovely and reassuring. The entire team—from the receptionists to the nurses and doctors—has been fantastic. After some difficult experiences with other practices in the past, Carmondean Medical Group truly stands out. You all deserve 5 stars. Thank you for everything!”
