“After attending and loving a GRC competition trial run by Linnea, I signed up for Walk and Train’s shadow programme — and I’m so glad I did! Between both Linnea and Gregor, they were full of knowledge and genuine love for the work they do. Throughout the programme, I got to discuss my future and how to get into the dog training world as well as observe a wide range of training sessions, from puppy development and obedience work to behaviour modification and GRC training. Each session offered something new to learn, and both Linnea and Gregor took the time to explain methods, reasoning, and the “why” behind every technique! What I loved was how calm, patient, consistent and fun they were with every dog and client. The ability to tailor their approach to each individual dog was brilliant and made me reflect on how I can apply the same adaptability in my own work. The experience was educational, motivating and so much fun — I came away with a deeper understanding of canine behaviour, training structure and the importance of clear communication between handler and their dog. I’d highly recommend this shadow programme to anyone looking to grow their knowledge, gain hands-on experience, or simply spend time learning from passionate, and skilled trainers! I can’t wait to continue developing my training journey with everything I took away from this experience ❤️”

“Absolutely amazing with my wee boy! I’ve never had no problems with them. My dog is very nervous around new people and is very anxious with other dogs. They are Very patient with him and What a change I see in him when I decided to go here. He’s with other dogs and seems so happy and not bothered when I pick him up. This gives me great reassurance. The groomers are absolutely lovely and always listen to what I’m looking for and takes amazing care of my boy and he smells amazing and always looks dashing with his new hairdo and his wee bow when I pick him up.”

“Omg what can I say. I took my wee Princess here today for a full groom for the first time. Will was amazing with her as she has always been nervous about getting a groom. We had a good chat while he let her roam about for a bit so she could have a good sniff and feel relaxed rather than just starting straight away which I thought was lovely. He really does have a caring nature for dogs. The cut itself is absolutely perfect, smooth and on point no scissor marks in sight! One happy pooch and one happy owner. “My partner and I have visited many dog parks (at least 15/20) and we’d say this one is the best one! We live over an hour away but make the journey as our wee beagle loves it here. Definitely one of the biggest ones we’ve been to and has everything (lots of space, sensory garden, lots of equipment, fresh water, poo bags, toilet facility etc). We’re wary of some parks in terms of safety and the wee one escaping but we have no worries with this one. Will be back soon!”

“Callum helped us with our 7 month old Rough Collie pup who had various anxieties (eg stairs, the lead, grooming, separation anxiety), reactivity to other dogs and new people (not aggressive but highly exciteable, pulling on the lead, jumping up, saying hello to everyone, human and dog) - Callum spent lots of time with us and listened to us closely, observed our pup with us indoors and outdoors/walking), gave his assessment, then spent time teaching us how to address the issues and how to support her longer term development, and included a lot of breed specific knowledge and information - our pup is now 11 months old and all of Callum’s advice has been so helpful to us and pup has made really good progress in all areas. Callum has been available for ongoing support if/when we needed it too. I highly recommend Callum to anyone reading this website and looking for a diligent and knowledgeable trainer who knows his stuff! He really assessed our puppy’s nature and needs very well, and our needs and expectations too.”
