βFood was very fresh and delicious. Atmosphere, that felt very much authentic. Lovely Italian music, with a bonus of all the staff singing in Italian- youβll think youβre in Italy. Staff was very friendly and always smiling too. Thank you for a lovely dinner.β
βItβs a really nice Italian restaurant and the atmosphere is great!! The food is Like eating in Italy, simple but tasteful flavours!! Try spaghetti with Pomodoro, just amazing and absolutely the tiramisu!! I also recommend the signature cocktailsβ
βService was wonderful and the pizza was amazing! One of the best pizzas Iβve ever had outside of Italy. If youβre getting sick of pub food and want to switch it up, this is a great place to go!β
βWent in yesterday for an early dinner. Friendly helpful staff, lots of tables and food was good. Ordered Halloumi starter and Balmoral chicken (chicken stuffed with haggis, wrapped in bacon with a whisky and peppercorn gravy), and was more than happy with both. The chicken was fantastic. Good selection of drinks to go with the food, some nice local beers.β
βThe chap at the bar- Lewis - was great. He was really friendly and welcoming. Nice pub/ bar feel on top floor and then ultra modern underground pool room with cool lighting on the bottom floor. Great atmosphereβ
βBeen here multiple times! Awesome food, nice staff! Will always eat here again :)β
βHonestly really lovely cosy place! The staff were very nice and dealt with some allergies at our table quite well. The food was so so delicious and very reasonably priced too.β
βWas going to add a pic of our food but it was so tasty it was gone before I even remembered! Mega was very attentive, asking our drinks order and clearing our plates with a smile. Heβs a real credit to the place and made us feel so welcome, thanks Mega!β
βI like this place very much. The food here is very authentic and the boss is very warm.β
βThe Turkish coffee was divine, and they had great vegetarian options! The service was absolutely lovely as well, highly recommend!β
βI was at the Beijing Banquet for dinner today. The food was very good, I enjoyed everything, and I am very satisfied with the high quality of the service. In particular, the girl named Josephine was very kind and took great care of us. Warm greetings to her! Agata from Polandβ
βOnly been the once and was very pleasantly surprised. Booked a table very last minute and not even sure how they managed to squeeze us in, the place was packed. Food was lovely and service was great, also great value for money.β
βgot pizza the other day, and i picked it up the employee with the black hair she was very kind and had amazing customer service. overall the food was nice. definitely recommendβ
βWe visited La Vita Viva as a family of 21 to celebrate my husbandβs 60th Birthday and the food was absolutely outstanding β five-star quality from start to finish. Every dish was full of authentic Italian flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. What made it even better was the service we received being a big party not an easy task but we were really well looked after. I would highly recommend and we will be backβ
βIn with my work supporting adults with autism which if youβve ever worked in the industry they pay for you to eat with the individuals unlike what another reviewer suggests. Staff were very aware of our situation and were very attentive and polite. I would ignore reviews from people who only give 1 star reviews as some passive aggressive way of dealing with their own problems. Food was top quality and would recommend to anyone that can appreciate the good things in life.β
βA few weeks back I stumbled upon this hidden gem on the streets of Edinburgh. With a wide range of pizza slices to offer, it was one of the best pizza experiences I've had so far. Their Chicken Tikka Slice in particular was my favourite. Packed with rich flavours, it had the perfect balance of smoky spices and tender chicken. 5 starsβ
βFirst time trying food from here and was absolutely delighted. Great way to try multiple things for a really decent price. The sushi tasted fresh and everything I ordered was great. Will definitely remember for future.β
βYummy hot jacket potato with my favourite toppings. Pleasant gentleman who was nice to my kid too.β
βWe had a great experience eating at Bento Stockbridge today. I have the curry box and my partner had some Bao buns. The curry was delicious. Also the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu when I asked some questions. Cool brand and nice music. Definable recommended for a lunch option of you're nearby and want a quick bite to eat. Highly recommended.β
βSecond time that we have come out to Di Giorgios. This has turned into our absolute favorite chippy. The price is great and food is amazing. We ordered 2 burgers, a fish and chips, the fried sausage dinner, onion rings, kids chicken nuggets and a 10" pizza all for Β£40! The pizza was the best pizza we have had in Scotland! Highly recommend. We will be making this place a regular. Don't change a thing!β
βVisited this Italian often before covid. It has always been a favourite, lovely food. Coming back for the first time after lockdown, the food and the restaurant have changed. And WOW... if I thought it was good before... its even better now!!! I had the Spaghetti Carbonara and it was the BEST I've ever had, so creamy. Delicious. My dad ordered the Pizza bolognese and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We had calamari starter which was also 10/10. Staff were also brilliant, very attentive with quick service. Will be back soon. (For more carbonara!) Thank you Liberta!β
βIβm a fish supper kind of guy, so canβt really speak for anything else on the menu, but the fish here is some of the best Iβve had from a chippy. My wife also raves about the chicken goujons, theyβre the best apparently. Never had an issue with service.β
βChance find on Google when craving for pasta. With tempered expectations we walk into this petite restaurant. The staff were friendly and the restaurant extremely clean. We ordered the Al Sugo and Vongole with a side of garlic bread. Everything was nicely prepared and tasty, the pasta was cooked perfectly. We ended having dessert as well and the affogatos were delicious too. So glad we found this gem. Thanks to the wonderful staff!β
βWe had a wonderful meal here. 5he food was absolutely delicious and Garry was very attendive We tried seabrass without diary - perfect 10/10, the regular seabrass 08/10, and the pizza 07/10. The vegan dessert was also a highlight, definitely a 10/10. We enjoyed sitting outside, which made the experience even nicer.β
βThe man who runs it is a local legend. Makes cracking pizza and the prices are reasonable. Portion sizes are good!β
βNice food! You get a choice of steamboat, steampot and Korean grill BBQ. The table for each type of meal is set up differently so each table can only choose one though. Range of food for steampot was great! Plenty of razor clams and prawns, even whole sea bass. Service was excellent. Attentive and personable. Highly recommended!β
βTheir tempura bowls are top-notch, and really stand out from their regular menu items. They provide free-flow miso soup which is delicious. Make sure to check on their Instagram for which days the tempura is available, because it changes from week to week. The prices are quite reasonable for a sit-down restaurant in Edinburgh.β
βBest Kabab in Edinburgh, portions large and well worth a visit 10/10β
βLovely meal on a Sunday evening. Restaurant was quite empty to start but then started filling up. Service was quick and our server, Mitch, was really friendlyvand helpful. We have the Pizza Express app so got a special deal on the Romana pizzas, even though one came with gluten free base. Food was hot and delicious. We had the double dough balls to start, shared between 3 and a Pizza each, although no-one could finish theirs. Much too full for desserts. Overall a lovely evening and cost Β£35 each including drinks but with the discount.β
βI ordered buffalo margera and affogato. All was very nice and staff are great. Affogato is way more than expected! Must try!β
