“Came upon this wee gem while looking for a dog friendly cafe. Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our mini breakfast, coffee and tray bake. Many families there. Hope to return at some point when we have time to see the birds too.”

“Come here for breakfast every time we go on holiday in Scotland. Just a couple of minutes of the motorway. Located inside the shopping centre, is much better than what you would normally expect. Friendly and helpful staff, good food, clean and bright. Reasonably priced. The standards are as good year to year.”

“Just returned from my daughter’s 21st which we had in the function room. lovely intimate space with nice decor and a well stocked bar. The buffet was fresh and plentiful and enjoyed by all. The staff in this place were incredible. From the moment we arrived to set up and decorate the room they could not have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing was a bother inc offering us a cuppa while we set up and letting two hungry teens order food from the restaurant menu. Thanks to Shauna, Karen (I think) and our fab barman for the night (sorry didn’t get your name). All our guests commented on how nice it was and how they’d be back to try out the restaurant. Don’t hesitate to book here for functions - brilliant!!”

“Just off motorway - much better option than food counter in Shell. It was mobbed but relatively quick service, quality (freshly cooked) food and good prices.”

“We arrived for breakfast before heading to work. We were served by Kirsty, she was lovely. I was suprised at how quiet it was, Kirsty offered to bring our drinks to the table. It really was a 5 star service. We will be visiting again very soon”

“Fantastic turn out and a big thanks to all who attended! Just a quick F.Y.I, Anne Bryan's comment suggesting that "3 people were hurt" is rather unsubstantiated. Nobody came forward when asked, as I'd have ensured they were okay, of course, and no other events that we have held, has ever resulted in injury. Plus, it's supposed to be a fun off-lead event that allows our furry friends to have a good time, eat lots of treats and tire themselves out. I attempted to reach out to Mrs Bryan but she appears to have blocked us all. That's all good, she's always invited back to our events as they're for EVERYONE! Love seeing some old and new faces xx”

“This was a first time visit and I absolutely adored it. We made an upfront reservation for 5 people and all 5 of us had a 3 course meal (starter, maind and desserrt). As you can see from the pictures everyone had a different meal. We all definitely enjoyed it. The Service was absolutely amazing and very helpful, if there were any questions from the fest. They were very organised as well and everyone was served their meal without waiting to much. I absolutely and highly cyan recommend that place :) and I hope that standard that they have, they'll keep it up that way. I can't wait to come back here, when I'm over for the next holiday again.”

“Just stopped for a quick coffee on our break. Really nice and specious area and it was much quieter than the one inside the mall. Coffee was lovely as always, staff friendly, and also it was pretty entertaining as they put music on so was nice to listen some good old tunes.”

“Had another great Tuesday afternoon in The Smiddy, entertainment was great, Elvis tribute was excellent, what a shift this guy puts in and super friendly. We all had food after the show, soup was delicious as was our mains. Staff very helpful and pleasant. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
