“Nomination for Outstanding Service – a special member of staff , MD, ASDA Hamilton I would like to nominate Marry D for exceptional customer service following my visit to ASDA Hamilton on Friday evening, 28th November. During my visit, I had already spoken with a couple of team members and through no fault of their own, I still hadn’t been able to find the specialist products I needed and that i didn't even know that i needed. I was just about ready to leave the store thinking the trip might have been pointless. Then I met Marry. Marry immediately stopped what she was doing and gave me her full, undivided attention. Her excellent product knowledge, understanding of product placement and her natural desire to help customers meant she knew exactly what I was looking for and where to find it. Thanks entirely to her, I left the store with everything I needed, something that simply wouldn’t have happened without her assistance. Marry is a special person and a genuinely valuable member of staff. Her warm, professional manner and dedication turned my whole experience around. I also spoke with Martin, one of the on-duty managers, who was equally fantastic. Martin saw exactly where i was coming from and he had an Immediate appreciation for Mary's customer service contribution. I hope this nomination contributes towards any in-house ASDA recognition or rewards for outstanding service, because Marry absolutely deserves it. These three staff members went out of their way to help me as I had been given a time of 7.30-8 am to collect, Margaret patiently guided me to customer services. Kate called Joe to get my order and he willingly went to collect it for me. Margaret offered to get me another trolley as the one I had was a bit stiff and veering to the side. Kate kept me company and made me feel better about seemingly coming to collect too early and Joe brought my order to me with no issues, even though the first collection should be 9am. The time I had on my email was as stated earlier. I feel I haven't really explained myself well in this statement, but I can't thank them enough and I know some people would say "they are just doing their job" but it was more than that to me, they helped me and were patient and I am so grateful. “After days of visiting numerous sofa shops I stumbled across Instyle sofas in Uddingston. The customer service was great, and the advisor helping us was not too pushy or overly salesy (something which was really off putting in other stores). I was advised it was a family run business which makes all of the furniture in a nearby factory. I was able to customise the sofa I wanted, choose my fabric, altered the armrests as well as the feet. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and gave me some pointers on what to look out for. The sofa took roughly 5 weeks to arrive and I was communicated with the entire time. I wasn’t entirely sure how my sofa would turn out as I had altered certain aspects but thrilled to say I love it. It’s exactly what I was looking for, has been made to a high standard and looks fantastic in my living area, not to forget how comfy it is. The delivery was seamless as well. Very happy with the entire experience and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from here again.”

They pack all orders on time, and as a rider, I have never had to wait for an order here.I also work as a delivery rider, and every time I collect from this store, the experience is outstanding. The staff are polite, helpful, and respectful. On one occasion, my bags were very heavy, and instead of handing them to me one by one, the staff kindly helped carry my bags to my car. That gesture really meant a lot to me. I don’t remember everyone’s name, but every single member of the team is amazing. Whenever I work as a delivery driver and receive an order from this store, their service and positive attitude genuinely make my day.This is one of the best Tesco stores in Glasgow.
