“I've been attending Carluke Leisure Centre for 8 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have 3 children and used their creche to put my children in whilst I do a work out. The creche is the best part of the facility as the staff that work within it are 2nd to none. Helen, Charlotte and Marion are fantastic with all my children and the other wee ones attending. Ive never met such professional, hard working and caring women. Would highly recommend.”

“First visit to use hydro pool for the baby session. Place was lovely and clean (pool and changing area). We had the pool to ourselves. Pool was nice and warm, and it had a disco ball and turtles projected onto the wall. Staff were friendly :) would rec”

“Little bit nervous about re joining the fitness world after a year of illness, first point of contact was Anne via email, what a lovely full very informative reply, sent back almost immediately! Anne arranged for me to come in and have a tour/chat with the wonderful Manager Lorna. I was very overwhelmed, every question answered and now cannot wait to re start my fitness journey, with clearly a very great support team available! Thank you ladies, you are a credit to the centre.”

“Convenient location if you have a car or are local. Reasonable amount of parking although can be a challenge if something on at Stadium. Great range of classes”

“Excellent baby swimming lessons in the baby pool. The instructor Car is brilliant with the children and makes you and the little one confident in the water. The price of the lessons are super cheap compared to the likes of water babies etc. There is also space to spectate.”

“Love Eastwood park leisure centre. After it's brand new refurbishment its now re open. With a great gym, changing facilities. Steam room sauna, swimming pools and Theatre next door. They have a great cafe that serves hot and cold good, plenty of seating and lift access to both floors.”

“We bring our adult sons who have special needs here most weeks for a swim. It's not our local pool but they like the walk in style of the pool. The changing rooms are always clean and well maintained. The staff are fabulous. They're so good with the boys and very helpful and accommodating.”

“Excellent night made even better with a comprehensive win for Ross Trainer over a worthy opponent from Spain. Bar was reasonably priced, too.. Double smirnoff and Fresh Orange, Can of Bud (500ml), and a can of coke 10 quid. Perfect.”

“Lovely staff. Brilliant gym. My wee girl hurt her wrist not long ago whilst playing badminton with her dad here, and the staff member who gave first aid to her was absolutely amazing with her. Calmed her down, gave first aid and even asked how she was next time we were in.”

“Wishy sports centre has everything. Indoor football, badminton, tennis, table tennis, basketball and flying...OK so I made the last one up! Shoot me! The centre is modern and clean and everything is signposted for your ease. The centre has a swimming pool and a state-of-the-art gym. The centre also holds a smorgasbord of fitness classes held in the various suites. There are excellent changing and shower facilities as well as an in-house cafe. The staff are brilliant and helpful and you'll have the best experience in fitness that Wishy has to offer.”

“The gym is quite small but has good equipment. The swimming pool and shower areas are good as well.”

“Using the Astro football pitch here, a good surface when dry and a great surface when wet. Changing facilities are some of the best in the area in that they are actually big enough for the full squad and hot running water for afterwards. Definitely be back. Only down side is that the nets on the 11's nets could do with being fitted to the goals better.”

“Easy to find. Good sized car park although not designed very well. Gym layout is a little odd but manageable. Good variety of classes to book via the app.”

“Good softplay for smaller kids. Good choice of classes for adults and kids. Gym had a lot of equipment can he busy between 4-6pm with high school kids.”

“My baby’s swimming classes with Water Babies were absolutely the best value activity we took part in. She absolutely loved the water and our instructor, Gayle, was fantastic with her. Over the months that we attended my baby grew in confidence in the water and as well as learning swimming skills, also has confidence under water and has learnt essential safety skills. The activities are linked to common rhymes & songs that babies are likely to recognise & I feel that this is helpful in creating confidence in the water. I also highly recommend the underwater photoshoot. The photos of our baby are absolutely amazing! Unfortunately my return to work has meant we have had to stop our classes however, if our circumstances changed I would most definitely go back.”

“I came in for a 90 min Deep tissue Massage. It was amazing. Great pressure, great technique, I wish I could come every week. He knows his stuff! Walked out feeling brand spankin’ new. I’ll definitely be back!.”

“This is a great pool for serious swimmers being a full 50m long and they often have lane ropes out to stop anyone getting in your way. There a couple of gyms onsite too along with a sauna and steam room. The only downside is it's not much of a fun pool for kids although as the floor can be raised or lowered they often make one end very shallow so it's suitable for young children. Edit - The moving floor was broken but is now fixed with the timetable for the pool back to normal. I've added a photo of it here.”
