“A truly beautiful afternoon tea. Upgraded to champagne and so glad we did ~ it’s delicious. Seated in the Bloomsbury Room with gorgeous views, we were made welcome and were very well looked after by the lovely staff. The food was served on exquisite hand painted china with a matching tea set for the choice of tea. Everything was delicious and we had several fresh pots of tea offered to us ~ we did not feel rushed at any point. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning soon. Thank you all for making it so special.”

“Oak Road Playing Fields are very large there is about five different Fields. The edge of the playing fields at the back goes right up to the river Hull and you can walk along the River bank occasionally seeing the odd boat. It's a great place for walking dogs. It's not exactly a playground for children no roundabouts or swings, the fields are mainly used for sport and exercise. There is the decent size to car park, it's great place to get out and about in the fresh air and some large green Open Spaces, so few places like this in the city.”

“Ordered 2x 14 inch pizzas (margerita and hot shot) and 2x large fries, 30 quid. Great value. Pizzas were cooked spot on. Zero complaints. The taste, the sauce, the base all great. A really good spot and they have some good offers too to take advantage of. Pizza rating: 7.7”

“Best ever customer service! Having bought a Joules dog bed from an independent wholesaler at a country show, I realised I'd bought the wrong size. I rang the Beverley Joules store and spoke to Vic. She was unable to exchange the bed but she was so helpful. She organised a discount for a new bed and free next day delivery. She's wonderful ambassador for the company. Thank you so much.”

“Must have been the best curry I've ever tasted, I got a Korma and a Bhuna to take away, the staff was very friendly and it's clear that the chef is passionate about giving his customers the best food he can make! I highly reccomend this place, I came all the way from nottingham to give it a try and I was not disappointed. I also highly reccomend the garlic bread, will drive all the way back for more as soon as I get the chance.”

“I highly recommend this company. My gas boiler was very old and my hot water cylinder was leaking so someone suggested my house was ideal for an air source heat pump as I already had solar and battery storage. I did a lot of research and realised the design and install of a heat pump had to be right for it to work efficiently. I looked on heat geek website and found Elite are an installer and not too far away from where I live and so began the process - I got 3 quotes from different companies and although Elite were not the cheapest I had a lot more confidence that they would do a good job and I am pleased to report that they did an excellent job! The install team turned up on time and finished the job within 3 days and were very professional and did a tidy job- I was very impressed to say the least. James came a couple of days later to finish the commissioning and my house has never felt so warm and comfortable 24/7 and is costing me much less than my gas boiler. If you are looking at upgrading to a heat pump - use Elite - just do not wait until your boiler breaks down as it takes about 10- 12 weeks from start to finish but well worth it!”

“The grade ll listed Victorian water pump outside st Mary's church close to Beverly bar is a very ornate cast iron pump. It's still has its ornate handle on the side. Installed in the 1860s, it was made in London by Samuel owens. Called the enriched gothic pump case it was expensive (£24) and installed on the most fashionable street in Beverley. It is the only one of its kind in the north of England. Nicely painted, it was restored in the 1960s.”

“Used them for the first time for an MoT. They showed me issues they'd identified, explained them clearly to an idiot, then did the work promptly at a surprisingly good price. And performed a free retest. This is the recommendation of a mechanical idiot but they looked after me very well and I'll be going back if they can put up with me.”

“Mark did a great job of fitting two bespoke floor to ceiling wardrobes for our new home. He was quick to come by for an initial visit to discuss the design and pricing. We had received quotes from other companies, but Mark's was the most reasonable. He managed to finish the wardrobes within a day and a half, and made sure everything was clean and tidy once he'd finished. We would definitely recommend!”

“Advised to go to Andrews a while ago when couldn't get a locking wheel nut undone. They did it there and then in minutes and wouldn't take payment. Decided to change all the locking wheel nuts but couldn't shift two of them so went back a few days later. Again, no appointment but job done in minutes and very happy to make a token payment. Realised yesterday that MOT ran out the day before and couldn't get a booking for another week. Thought I'd try Andrews again. Appointment next morning (today) at 08:30! Brilliant - and he picked up on one of the headlight bulbs fitted incorrectly. Can't remember ever having had to have a replacement so several MOT testers over the years didn't spot it! Impressed. Also mentioned an exhaust baffle that had come loose. Had an annoying little rattle for several years - wonder if I'll find he's fixed that as well! Wife's car booked in for MOT tomorrow! Will definitely be using Andrews again - seems like my kind of garage. Many thanks for your diligent work.”
